"Tell me what happened, Arrow. Why are you crying?" Froze asked me worriedly.
I just shook my head as I wiped the tears on my cheeks. I also felt his hand on my cheeks to wipe away my tears.
"It's nothing, Froze. I just went home earlier," I reasoned.
He seems like he's not convinced with my reason so he just smiled.
"I know you've been crying before, baby, so tell me the truth. Who the hell made you cry?" he asked angrily.
He knows my weakness is to see him angry and worried, he really uses it.
"F-Froze," I uttered his name.
"Tell me," he said emphatically.
I cried when I remembered what had happened before. He immediately pulled me for a hug.
He wrapped me in his arms so I squeezed his chest. As expected, it feels so good being caged inside his arms.
"I'm so p-tired, Froze. I'm so tired of hoping that their t-daddy's opinion of me will change. But seeing how mad my mom was a while ago? She even hurt me like I a-am not her daughter, Froze, "I complained to him like a child.
I felt her gently caress my back as if calming me down.
"You should have never gotten close to them again, Arrow. Look at what they did, those two hurt you again. I don't care if they are your parents, but if they hurt you again, I'll kill them both. " He hugged me tighter which made me even more relieved.
I looked up to caress his face. He took my one hand and kissed it gently.
"Why are they treating me like I'm trash, Froze? What did I do to make them both hate me?" I asked.
He smiled bitterly as he brushed my hair with his fingers. "You're not trash, Arrow, you'll never be trash. Their brains are garbage. And don't ever put yourself in their place, you deserve everything the world can offer, okay?"
I nodded tearfully before kissing him on the lips. "Thank you, baby."
He laughed softly before biting my lower lip. "Thank you for that sweet kiss, also."
I glared at him and gently slapped him on the chest. "Silly! I am serious! I am so thankful that you came into my life. You two and grandpa make me feel how important I am, and you guys are my treasures."
He was about to start kissing me when the door to my room suddenly opened.
My grandfather came in and immediately smiled when he saw the position of Froze and me.
Number one shipper.
"Can I disturb both of you for a while?" it's a question.
I quickly got up from the bed and held Froze's hand upright.
"Yes, lo. What is it?" I wondered.
"Come to my office, both of you. I need to ask something." Then he came out.
Froze fixed my hair first before we walked out of the room holding hands.
I saw Alicia infront of Gunner's office. It smiled at us before opening the door.
When Froze closed the door we went straight to the seat in front of grandpa.
"Why?" I will ask.
"I heard about what happened a while ago, Arrow. Alicia told me that she witnessed it accidentally," he began.
I just smiled bitterly.
"I'm fine, grandpa. I'll be okay soon," I said with a forced smile.
I felt Froze's firm grip on my hand so I smiled at him.
"Are you sure?" I nodded softly.
"Just stay away from them, Arrow. Stay away from Mesaion and Canapia, even if the bullet inside your head was removed a year ago, it's still not good for you to be hurt," Gunner said coldly.
I immediately nodded. "Don't worry, Gunner. Please, don't worry. I can handle myself."
"I just want to make sure that you'll feel good inside the palace," Grandpa said smiling so I gave him a sweet smile back.
"But since you're here, both of you. I think it's time for you to tell me the truth, why did I have an accident?" I wondered.
I saw Froze look up at me. Almost immediately, he turned to Gunner as if saying something.
"H-Hey," I whispered.
"Arrow, I'm sorry but I can't tell you the reason." Shocked, I turned to Gunner.
What does he mean by that? Why can't they tell me?
I smiled and laughed awkwardly. "You don't have to worry that much, Gunner. It's okay for me to know. So tell me, who the hell shot me? I swear I'll punish that ass hole."
They did not answer two. But they exchange glances that I don't understand.
"Why aren't you saying something? Come on, tell me," I promised.
"It can kill you, Arrow. It might kill you if I tell the truth." I was stunned by what Gunner said.
What?
"Gunner, shut up," Froze promised loudly so I turned to him.
Confused, I looked at the two men in front of me.
"What the hell is this? Why aren't you saying something ?!" bulyaw ko.
Froze held my hand but I rejected his hand.
They're hiding something from me!
"Gunner, tell me. What is it? Why did I have an accident ?!" I shouted.
My grandfather shook his head a few times.
"I can't tell who tried to kill you because you'll be hurt by what you find out, Arrow." I shook my head.
"I said tell me!"
"Arrow--"
"Gunner shut up! Don't tell her!" Froze groaned which made me even angrier.
"Why are you hiding that thing from me ?! Just tell me the truth!"
"It's you!" my grandfather's shout caused me to stop.
"Gunner," Froze threatened but I ignored him.
"What?" I stammered to Gunner.
He answered with the most painful answer I ever heard. "It's you ... Behind that accident. You tried to kill yourself."
