"Mr. Knights, it's nice to finally meet you," the mayor said with a smile as he sat at the dining table.
I was overwhelmed inside. Meet you there, I'll make that green meat.
"It's nice to meet you too, mayor," Third greeted back. He shot me a threatening look so I immediately started.
"I'm so happy that you accepted my request, Mr. Knights. I thought you wouldn't answer when I invited you," the mayor said happily while fixing the mirror.
"I want to be partners with you as you start your new business, mayor," Third replied politely.
I just want to laugh because I know how it's holding him back.
"Have a seat, everyone, let's eat first before we talk about that thing." We all sat in the dining room.
Pow Pow also stood beside me. The mayor and Third were on either side of the long table, Third and I were on the right while Perzeus was on his left.
"Pow, don't you feel like it?" I asked Pow Pow when I saw he wasn't moving the food in front of me.
He shook his head and snorted. "I'm not used to food, sister. I can't control my appetite."
I was amazed at what this boy said, it's really very artistic. It's more social than me.
"By the way, who's that kid? Is he your brother?" the mayor asked kindly while looking at Pow Pow.
Third turned to me. "He's my child, beside him is my wife."
I secretly raised my eyebrows at him but he just winked.
"Wow, you have a very beautiful wife, Mr. Knights! It's nice to meet you Mrs. Knights, you are so gorgeous," she greeted me with a smile.
I smiled fakely. "Are you rotten?"
"Yes, what is it?" he asked in surprise when he did not hear what I said.
I hesitated to laugh. "I said, thank you, and nice hairstyle."
He smiled awkwardly before caressing the bald head.
"Y-Yeah, feel free everyone, I hope you'll enjoy our food," she said smiling and resumed eating.
I looked under the table when I felt Third touch my hand.
He squeezes you tightly before caressing you.
"Why?" My poor question.
"Your mouth," he simply threatened.
I jokingly sneered at him and released his hand. I just finished eating along with another Delta.
In the middle of the meal I stopped looking at the glass wall of this mansion. I frowned when I saw a black van outside.
I almost dropped the spoon I was holding when an incident entered my mind that I would never want to go back to.
"I know they'll be happy here!" I happily promise while arguing on the road.
Thrilled, I kissed the medal I was wearing. I'm so happy now because I have another award at school.
When I returned to our village, I was even more surprised to see the mob around me.
What's happening?
It was as if they had just been afraid to come here. Laughing, I approached the group.
I frowned when I saw the various media around, there were also many police around and there was also a police line in front of our street.
I saw Maricel, a saleswoman in the other village, and I immediately approached her.
"A-Ate Maricel, what's going on?" I wondered.
Shocked, he turned to me. "Are you alive ?! Jusko, Silhouette! Thank God!"
I cried and was stunned by the absence when he hugged me.
"Sister, what's going on ?! Where are they?" I asked tearfully.
She wiped the tears from her cheeks. "They're gone, ija, they're gone."
I was stunned because of what it said, I immediately ran in the direction of the police. My eyes widened when I saw how much blood was scattered around.
Their houses were chaotic and full of gunshot wounds, as if I was fainting from what I saw.
"W-Wait, I-I live here. Let me in!" I cried and cried when the police stopped me from entering.
"I'm sorry, ija, you can't enter because this area is a crime scene," a policeman replied boldly.
I immediately fought them. "Let me in," I said! They're there! They're still there!"
"Everyone living on this street is dead, ija!"
My knees almost lost strength when I heard that. I shook my head in tears.
"No, they're strong, they can fight. Please just let me in, I feel sorry for you! Carlos, there's a child there, b-they're still alive!" I shouted.
"I'm sorry, ija, but their bodies have been taken to the morgue. We will investigate who did this, calm down," the female police officer calmly told me.
"K-Calm down? Putang mother! Tell yourselves that!" I shouted angrily.
It hit my back but I quickly pushed him away. I pulled my hair out and fainted on my knees.
"N-No, they're alive. They won't leave me, h-they can't do that. They're all alive!"
It was as if I had lost my breath as I stared at the sky. It was worthless afterall. It's useless.
I chose to live because of them. But now that they are gone, why am I still left?
My fists clenched as I stared at the sky.
You took them away from me.
You took my mother away from me.
You took everything I have.
Why didn't You just take me too? What kind of punishment will You do? Are you even God at all?
I firmly bit my lower lip as I caught my breath. Whoever those demons who killed my loved ones. I'll surely kill them all with my bare hands.
There was no emotion as I got up from my knees. Ignore all the noise around. I just passed the cameras that were meeting me.
I stopped walking when I saw a black van from a distance. I looked down at its plate number.
This is it. This is the van I always notice being in front of our street.
I chased it with my gaze as it quickly disappeared from my sight.
They're the ones who did these. I'm sure of that. And I will not stop until I have brought down the people who killed them.
