Hailey's POV
"Give me more!" I yelled, wanting every last inch of him so deep in me that I could feel it in my stomach. Ian brought out a side of me I didn't know I had. The side that liked the teasing, the tormenting wait, and then the hard fuck that followed.
"Be patient, woman. I want you soaking wet." I swear I'm already there, any wetter and I'd soak the damn bed. Still, I let him continue his teasing, inserting himself slightly just to pull it right back out and swirl around my entrance once more. With my hands tied above me with his tie, I was at his mercy, unable to just grab his shaft and stick it in me. "Are you ready for me?" he asked a few tortuous minutes later.
"Yes! God, yes!" I practically yelled, dripping with anticipation as his shaft slowly entered me. Once the head of his dick was all the way in, he paused for just a second, staring down at me, before he smirked arrogantly and slammed into me. I slid on the bed with my breasts bouncing up towards my face and back down. His thrusts were hard and fast, slamming into me with the speed of a rabbit. My moans escaped me with each thrust, eventually turning to screams of pleasure as he teased my nipples with his tongue and fingers.
"Cum for me, Hailey. Yell my name!" His commands were enough to make my body react, reaching my peak as his name left my lips in a high-pitched squeal. I was panting, begging for air that refused to come to me fully as Ian continued to fuck me until I orgasmed for a second time, feeling his seed spurt deep inside me. "I'll never get tired of that sound."
He rolled off me, untying my wrists and propping himself up on his side as he let his fingers run lightly across my skin, soothing my aching muscles. Closing my eyes, I enjoyed the feeling, letting myself relax.
"I'll never get tired of doing that," I told him, keeping my eyes closed.
His lips suddenly pressed against mine, replacing my calm with a passionate desire once more. He pulled away, staring down at me as if I were his precious gift from God. His hands brushed my hair, pushing it out of my face as he continued to admire me. The moment was silent, yet it spoke volumes. We loved each other more than either of us thought possible. When Liv asked me to burst him out of his bubble, I would have never imagined this would be how it ended. To think we used to find each other annoying, now we lay in bed loving one another with no end in sight.
I knew one day God would place the right man on my path. I just never realized it would end up being Ian. The man who finally got me to say I love you was the same one who I had to coax out of his shell. He's the perfect man, and he's all mine.
"Mi Luz, we are going to be late to our dinner reservation if you take any longer," Ian called to me from the other side of the bathroom door.
Today is my birthday and as such, Ian decided to take me to the best restaurant in town. He made a reservation a few months ago, which shocked me to learn. It's crazy to think he knew that he would still want to be by my side months later, even when we weren't truly dating. He had enough faith that we would still be together, whether our relationship was fake or real. It was like the moment he found out when my birthday was, he began to make plans for it.
He has doted on me all through the day, waking me with a small gift and then giving me one each hour. They were small things, like a cute pair of novelty earrings or an adorable pen. He even got me my favorite scented candle and the softest, coziest sock slippers. I am excited to wear those around the house. He knows how cold my feet get already, almost like popsicles. His thighs will keep those puppies warm when these socks aren't.
"I'm going as fast as I can, Mi Vida, but beauty takes time."
"Not with you, it doesn't. You're already beautiful, so let's just go."
"One second." I hurriedly put on my mascara, opening the door as Ian knocked once more. "All done. Let's go already. Gosh, you take so long to get ready." I laughed as I walked out of the apartment ahead of him. I had been spending almost all my time in his apartment, liking its quaint size and modern furniture. Plus, I knew we could be as loud as we wanted here without anyone hearing us. Tinita has been having her own fun as well, so it works out. She and I hung out this morning with Ian, where she made me all my favorites for breakfast. I was so stuffed, I ended up skipping lunch.
"What did Liv say when she called?" Ian asked, having heard part of the conversation as I was getting ready.
"She was just wishing me a happy birthday. She said she would see me later, but she wasn't really specific with the time. So I guess we'll see when she shows up tonight. Probably after Abi is down for the night and Lucas can watch her." I shrugged, unsure why Liv was vague with her timing.
She's a pretty punctual woman, but I know with the pregnancy and the cancer that she's probably exhausted and not thinking as clearly as she once did. Her boss has been really gracious and has been letting her work from home as long as she comes in for an hour every day. I like the place she got hired at. Her boss is really family oriented and extremely understanding, which is great for her at the moment.
"Then we better hurry, so we're here when she shows up. Or is she going to your penthouse?" Ian asked, trying to ensure we didn't miss when she would show up. On a normal day, I would question this and feel jealous about it, thinking he really wanted to see her. As of late, however, I know that's not the case. He has really moved on from her, but I know he still loves her, just differently than before. He's concerned for her the same way I am, and with him and me both being her best friends, I understand how he's feeling. I won't be so insecure as to keep him from seeing her. They will always be friends and I need to realize that doesn't mean he loves her more than me.
"I think she said penthouse. So my place after dinner?" I asked him, seeing him smile and nod his head. Something was up, but I wasn't sure what. He had this devious smile on his face that told me he was up to no good. I just hope that whatever it is, it will be something I enjoy. Perhaps my next gift will be in the bedroom. I am hungry for some Ian.
"Hailey, stop," Ian scolded me as I grabbed his groin in the elevator, kissing his neck. I was horny as hell and ready for my birthday sex, but Ian was oddly being a prude. "I love you, but just wait a little bit, okay?" He smiled at me, showing me that amused grin. There was something I was missing, but I wasn't sure what. I couldn't put my finger on it. At first, I thought it was going to be something sexual, but judging from the reaction he just gave me, it is clearly not that. So what? What is it?
Letting out a heavy sigh, I let him go, crossing my arms in front of me and pouting cutely. Usually Ian would cave and let me have my way when I did this, but instead he moved my hair, kissed my neck lightly and had me walk out of the elevator. He led the way, getting the key I had made a copy of for him. He was smiling from ear to ear as we approached my door, letting me know whatever he was up to was behind it. The door slowly opened to a pitch black penthouse, all the curtains were closed, blocking the city lights from beaming in.
It seemed Tinita wasn't home as I hoped she would be. As I stepped through the door, I could smell Papi's cologne, and just as it dawned on me what was happening, Ian turned the lights on. The sounds of a million different voices yelling "surprise" hit my ears like a train horn in a tunnel. I smiled widely at everyone, seeing all my family, including my mother, here. Liv was by my dad, with Abi in her arms and Lucas at her side. I turned to Ian, pointing my finger at him.
"You!" He laughed, pulling me close and kissing my forehead.
"Me."
"With a little help from me," Liv added, coming up behind me and giving me a side hug. The smile on my face couldn't be big enough to express how happy I was feeling in this moment. Ian had really surprised me and ensured everyone I loved was here for me.
"Happy birthday, Nena." Papi hugged me next, taking my hand and squeezing it tight when he pulled away. His eyes glistened with unshed tears, as they normally do on our birthdays. Papi was an emotional man and seeing us grow always made him want to cry. I love that about my father.
"Gracias, Papi."
"Te miras muy linda {you look very pretty}" he added, squeezing my hand once more before letting it go. I beamed my smile at him, lifting my chin and closing my eyes like I used to as a child.
"Gracias, Papi," I thanked him again.
"Happy birthday!" The twins came next, squeezing me on either side.
Then came the rest of the sisters, each with their own birthday wishes, hugs, and kisses. They doted on me for a second before scampering off to the food I am assuming Papi made for everyone. I was slowly working my way over to Mami, who stood near the corner of the room. Hilda was by her side with Haydee, talking about God knows what. Ian never left my side, grabbing my hand for comfort as I approached the woman who caused me to fear love. The woman who makes everything about her.
"Hola, Mami," I greeted her, smiling warmly at her.
"I was wondering when you would make time for me. Look at you! So beautiful as always. Happy birthday, Muñeca." She patted my cheek as if I were a small child.
"I am glad you could come."
"Of course I would come. I wouldn't miss my own daughter's birthday."
Ian squeezed my hand at her comment, indicating something had bothered him in that statement. I nodded at her, unsure what to say. In all honesty, I was surprised to see her. She's a very stubborn woman, which led me to believe I wouldn't be hearing from her until I had given her the apology she felt she deserved. Yet here she stood, staring at me expectantly. Was this her way of trying to get me to publicly apologize for something she should be saying sorry for?
"How old are you now? 36?" Hilda asked, poking me in the side, realizing something was up between Mami and me. She was great at easing the tension between us.
"Shut up! You know I'm not that old- 26 now," I answered her, swatting her hand away.
"Are you sure?" Haydee asked, poking my arm next. "This is getting a little too jiggly and soft."
I gasped dramatically, slightly offended by her comment. "It is not!"
"It totally is," she argued, poking my arm once more.
"Stop that. No, it's not. Ian, tell them." I looked to him for help, seeing him find this whole interaction amusing by the way he smirked at me.
"She's beautiful just the way she is, gray hair and all." He winked at me, teasing alongside them.
I gasped dramatically once more before narrowing my eyes at him. "Traitor!"
"What? Never! I'm always on your side but I also don't like to lie."
"Whatever, I am not old." I pushed him playfully, seeing him come right back and wrap his arms around me.
"You're right. You're not that old." He kissed my forehead once more.
