Reject my Alpha Husband

Chapter 84 we seem to lose mate forever

Ch. 84 / 120 Jan 30, 2026

Alisha's POV

Knowing that the doctor couldn't come to treat Magaly due to Archie's orders, I felt a deep hatred for him. Why did he favor Erma so much? Why didn't he consider the lives of others?

I forced myself to stay calm. Complaining wouldn't help now. I had to find a way to save Magaly. So, I dialed Archie's number, and after what seemed like an eternity, someone finally answered the call.

I urgently said to Archie, "Archie, I need..."

"Sorry, Luna, this is Brad. Alpha isn't available to take calls right now."

I knew that even Brad wouldn't have the authority to change Archie's decisions and orders, so I asked directly, "Brad? Where's Archie? I have something very important to discuss with him."

"Sorry, Luna," Brad replied.

I was furious, "Since he won't take my call, then tell him I need the doctor from Erma's side immediately!"

"Sorry, Luna, Alpha ordered earlier to prioritize Erma's health and safety."

Upon hearing this, my heart felt frozen. I blinked, and a tear slid down my cheek. "Tell Archie it's over between us. I hate him." Then I hung up.

I wiped my tears away and turned to Gray and Louie. "I need your help, please."

Louie nodded, "You name it. I'm here to help however I can."

Fury blazed in my eyes. "Go get the doctor from Erma's side!"

Louie had no objections. He looked at Mireya and said, "Lead the way. We're going to fetch the doctor."

Gray looked at me, "I'll go with Louie. If anything goes wrong, we'll deal with it together. Don't worry; we'll bring the doctor back."

I gazed at their determined expressions, lost for words. When I faced adversity, my husband had betrayed me. I thanked Moon Goodness for bringing Louie and Gray into my life.

Time was tight, and they left quickly under Mireya's lead. I hoped for good news upon their return.

When the room held only Magaly and me, panic overcame me. I went to the side of the bed, looking at Magaly's pale face. Tears welled up in my eyes again.

"Grandmother, please, I beg you, don't leave me..." I closed my eyes, holding her cold and stiff hand to my cheek as if her warm touch from my childhood was comforting me. But now, her hand was icy and lifeless.

Suddenly, I felt a touch on my cheek, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened them. Magaly was looking at me, wide awake and fixed on my face.

I seemed to be caught in a wave of joy, momentarily unable to react. I was afraid this was a dream or an exhaustion-induced hallucination.

Then, Magaly's voice sounded, "Hello, my little princess."

Only Magaly would call me that. After all these years, I was hearing her call me 'little princess' again!

Overwhelmed with joy, I clutched her hand, trembling as I said, "Grandmother, I've missed you so much!"

"I'm so happy to see you all grown up. Beautiful, talented, strong. I'm really happy."

I shook my head, "No, I'm not good. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been hurt." Magaly had been in a coma, and she must have woken up because she sensed my danger. To protect me, she had fought with Evita, resulting in her current condition. I felt immense guilt.

"No, you've always been my pride. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have held on for so long. Your strength kept me going all this time."

I looked at Magaly, confused. "I don't understand. I haven't done anything."

Magaly coughed weakly, then looked at me affectionately. "My dear girl, you've been amazing and brave, protecting me with your strength. Now it's time to return your powers and your companions."

For some reason, I strongly resisted Magaly's words. I shook my head, "No, I don't want any powers. I just want you to be with me."

Magaly struggled to raise her hand and caress my hair. Her eyes radiated a gentle light. "I've always been proud of you. You've grown up, and even if I'm not here, I believe you can walk your life path with strength."

As she finished speaking, I felt a powerful force transferring from Magaly's hand into my body. But I was afraid of the farewell in her words. I clung to Magaly, "No, no, no! I don't want to grow up. I just want you."

"There will be others to accompany you on your life journey..."

Magaly's voice began to weaken, and the light in her eyes dimmed. A profound sadness enveloped me.

"No, please, you have to hold on a little longer. Gray and the others are bringing the doctor. I need you!"

"Gray... oh, Blood Dawn, go there, leave the Black Furies, don't trust Joey, live well..."

"No!" My cries shattered through the entire house.

Archie‘s POV

When I returned to Golden Crest, my initial plan was to visit Erma, but Brad advised me otherwise. He said, "Alpha, I suggest you go see Luna first. She was very angry because you didn't take her calls."

Thinking about what Alisha had said, I frowned, "She's getting bolder and bolder."

I asked Brad to drive straight back home. The moment I arrived at Golden Crest, I caught the scent of other werewolves, Gray and Louie. Even though I knew Shaunda had sent them to accompany Alisha back, I still didn't like the idea of other men's scents on my territory.

As soon as I entered the house, I saw Alisha, dressed in a black dress, coming out with Gray and Louie by her side.

I looked at their suitcases, furrowing my brow, "What are you doing?"

Alisha looked at me, her eyes devoid of the previous affection and love, as cold and barren as an icy wasteland.

My heart clenched painfully.

Alisha, with a cold and cruel tone, said, "Archie Redner, it's over between us. From today, we have no relationship."

Hearing this, I walked forward with big steps, wanting to grasp her wrist. But before my hand reached her, Louie blocked me, "Stay away from her. You have no right to touch her."

I angrily pushed Louie away, "You want a fight? This is none of your business; get lost!"

Gray also stood in front of Alisha to stop me, "Alisha has made it clear; she has no connection with you. Don't bother her anymore."

"Who says we have no connection? She is my wife, and nothing can change that fact!"

Alisha's voice turned ice-cold as she spoke, "I've had enough! Your wife? The biggest regret of my life is marrying you!"

"What nonsense are you talking about? If it weren't for Shaunda, you wouldn't even have been eligible to marry me!"

"Well, that's perfect. We should end this torment we both despise so much. Since we both loathe this marriage, let's end it today."

"Think again! I won't allow it!" I don't know why, but my immediate reaction to Alisha's words was to refuse. I absolutely would not allow this to happen.

Louie and Gray frowned, as if they were about to say something, but Alisha spoke up directly, "Archie Redner, I swear to Moon Goodness, I decide to reject you."

I was utterly stunned. Alisha, she actually rejected me? How could she dare?

"I advise you to think it through. If you decide to leave today, there's no turning back. Will your uncle forgive you? The Black Furies will no longer have the protection of Golden Crest!" I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth.

"Hahaha, I couldn't wish for more. Accept it and let's end this! Haven't you always longed to be free from this marriage?" Alisha actually laughed.

Hearing Alisha's words, anger engulfed me, and I said loudly, "As you wish, everything between us is over." As soon as I finished speaking, I felt the bond between us break, and I realized that Alisha and I truly had no connection left. A profound sense of emptiness and loss suddenly washed over me.

Alisha left Golden Crest with Louie and Gray. I walked into the house, not wanting to see this incredibly painful scene anymore.

But before I could even sit down, my wolf suddenly awakened. It had been in a slumber since the battle on the island, but today it woke up. It said to me, "Archie, I sense the presence of our mate, the person we have been searching for. However, for some reason, she seems no longer to belong to us."
