Reject my Alpha Husband

Chapter 83 Erma is more important

Ch. 83 / 120 Jan 30, 2026

Alisha's POV

I hid under the bed with Magaly, clutching her tightly. I wished my body could turn into a shield, completely protecting her from any harm. The sounds of battle, clashes of weapons, and shouting from outside were chilling. I could do nothing but pray for it to end soon so I could take Magaly away for treatment.

Peering through the cracks under the bed, I saw broken hands, limbs stained with blood, and the intense battle outside. Although I couldn't see the specific details, I could feel more and more werewolves entering the room, trying to take down Gray, or more directly, trying to kill me.

I didn't know if Gray, on his own, could hold out. I cursed myself once more for my lack of combat abilities, unable to join the fight and protect Magaly.

The next moment, I heard Gray roar, and I felt the entire air suddenly become tense, instilling a deep and unexplainable fear. It was like being a small insect caught in a spider's web, with my body and soul bound.

Then, my vision turned blood-red. I felt my blood inside me start to pulse, then gradually boil. It was as if I had received a calling. The room was filled with a potent, bloody scent, and an intense desire for battle enveloped me. My nails grew longer and razor-sharp, my face twisted into a fierce expression.

I was immersed in a bloodthirsty killing frenzy, feeling an insatiable thirst. I didn't know how much time had passed when suddenly I heard someone calling my name, "Alisha!"

This voice freed me from the horrifying world of blood, and I looked up to see Gray crouching beside the bed, peering down at me. He seemed to have just shifted, his lower body casually covered with a bedsheet, his upper half bare and drenched in blood, as if he'd taken a swim in a sea of it.

"Alisha, wake up, are you okay?" Gray reached out a hand to me, his expression filled with concern.

I shook my head, trying to shake off the horrific blood-filled visions from my mind, then I clung tightly to Magaly and replied, "I... I saw something very frightening."

"Don't be afraid. You were just influenced by my Gift. There were too many new enemies. I used my Gift - Blood Hell. We need to leave right now," Gray said.

"Have the enemies been dealt with?" I asked, trembling.

"Most of them, but Joey hasn't shown up. He must be held off by Louie. Let's leave while we can," Gray replied.

Hearing this, I hurriedly escorted Magaly out, all the while worrying about Louie. "Is he okay?" I asked.

Gray shook his head. "Have faith in him. We'll regroup later."

Gray carried Magaly, and I followed him unsteadily as we left the treatment room. I could hear screams and roars coming from the entire pack.

I don't remember how we left the Black Furies; my memory is foggy. All I recall is sticking closely to Gray, running frantically to escape the place I had once called home. Gray ran while howling, calling for Louie.

Eventually, the three of us successfully reunited, but a relentless group of enemies continued to chase us. They were closing in fast. Louie gestured for me to climb onto his back.

I knew that my speed would likely slow everyone down, so I quickly mounted Louie, clutching onto his neck. Gray, holding Magaly, asked, "Your grandmother needs medical attention now. Do you know of any nearby packs?"

I bit my lip and replied, "The Golden Crest."

Gray glanced at me, then said to Louie, "Hurry, brother."

In the next moment, Louie sprinted forward, the wind rushing past my ears, making it impossible to keep my eyes open. I buried my head in Louie's thick fur. Gray held onto Magaly, trailing behind us. The Black Furies' pursuers were not far behind, and my heart raced as I prayed desperately to the Moon Goodness, begging her to bless us with more speed, to ensure Magaly remained safe.

I wasn't sure how much time passed, but we finally reached the Golden Crest. The guards initially mistook us for enemies and prepared to attack to prevent our entry. I quickly sat atop Louie and shouted, "It's me! Don't attack!"

The guard recognized me, "Luna!"

"Quickly! Arrange for the witch doctor, as fast as possible!" I instructed loudly. One guard hesitated for a moment and then rushed into the pack.

Another guard asked, "Are you injured?"

I didn't have time to explain and simply told him, "There are enemies chasing us from behind. Be vigilant." Even though the Black Furies' pursuers dared not approach Golden Crest too closely, I remained concerned that they might launch a sudden attack. While we were temporarily safe within Golden Crest, we had to remain cautious.

Then, we swiftly returned to my and Archie's residence with Magaly and waited for the witch doctor to arrive. I sat on the bed, holding my lifeless grandmother's hand tightly, tears welling up in my eyes.

Louie and Gray changed their clothes and did a quick freshen-up before joining me.

"Don't worry, Alisha, your grandmother will be fine," Gray reassured me, patting my shoulder.

Louie added, "The doctor is on the way; don't be upset."

"If it weren't for me, Magaly wouldn't be hurt this badly," I said, consumed by guilt. I felt responsible for everything that had happened.

Louie frowned, "This isn't your fault. It's your uncle's doing!"

Gray chimed in, "He's right. Right now, the most important thing is to get your grandmother healed, and then we'll settle the score with them."

I couldn't help but glance at the door. "Mireya, why hasn't the doctor arrived yet?" I was becoming increasingly anxious.

Mireya shook her head. "I'll go check."

After what felt like an anxious ten minutes, Mireya returned, her face filled with anger. "Luna, she won't allow the witch doctor to come."

Upon hearing this, my anger flared. "Who? Who won't allow it?"

"Erma," Mireya replied.

At the mention of her name, my resentment and anger flared up, and I demanded, "How dare she?"

Mireya looked at me and explained, "She said she's feeling unwell and needs the witch doctor to attend to her first before coming here."

At this point, my vision darkened. Erma was intentionally defying me and acting against my orders.

"I'm the Luna of the Golden Crest. She must listen to me! Get the doctor here right now!"

Mireya sighed and responded, "Alpha previously ordered that the doctor must take good care of Erma, so the doctor is obeying those orders and can't come here."
