Reject my Alpha Husband

Chapter 81 go join her in death

Ch. 81 / 120 Jan 30, 2026

Gray‘s POV

Louie and I arrived at the residence of the Black Furies Alpha. While I had no interest in this small pack that was an offshoot of the Golden Crest, I knew it was where Alisha grew up, her home. So, I was willing to extend this courtesy for Alisha and show respect to the Black Furies Alpha.

More importantly, Alisha's uncle was the Alpha of the Black Furies, and I hoped to find some information about Alisha here. After all, on the island, I detected my sister's scent in Alisha's blood. This both excited and confused me. Perhaps I might find some answers here.

However, Louie appeared distracted. I knew he was worried about Alisha, but I felt that inside her own pack, there was no need for excessive concern.

So, I patted Louie on the shoulder and said, "Don't worry, bro. Alisha definitely needs some private time to talk to her grandmother. Our presence might make her uncomfortable. Plus, we will go see Alisha in a little while; everything will be fine."

Louie didn't say anything but nodded.

Alisha's uncle, Joey, greeted us with a fawning smile that made me uncomfortable.

"Oh my, I can't believe the Alpha of the Blood Dawn has graced our pack with his presence. How honored we are!" he exclaimed.

I gave a polite but insincere smile. "We apologize for the interruption. We have come with Alisha to visit her grandmother."

Joey's face seemed uneasy for a moment, but he quickly resumed his obsequious manner. "Thank you so much for accompanying her. Alisha has been quite stubborn lately, and she doesn't want to have anything to do with our pack anymore. It's as if she has been looking down on us since she became the Luna of the Golden Crest..."

Joey's complaints about Alisha made me unpleasant. I was about to frown, but Louie intervened, cutting him off. "Alisha is fine. As her uncle, you are not supposed to speak ill of her before us."

Joey looked at Louie, clearly dissatisfied with his actions and words. He seemed to want to retort but, after glancing at both of us, he chose not to say anything further.

Joey cleared his throat and then continued, "Would you like to rest for a while? We have prepared food and rooms. I'm sure you will be satisfied."

"No, we'll wait for Alisha to return," I rejected his offer outright.

Joey's expression seemed to grow more tense. He continued to try to persuade us, "Alisha might be spending a long time with her grandmother. You can go and rest first. You have been through a lot on your journey, and you must be tired. You don't need to wait for Alisha."

Louie furrowed his brow. "I'm not tired. I'll wait for Alisha. She was injured earlier, and I promised my grandmother that I would take good care of her."

Joey hurriedly interjected, "There is no need to fetch her. She is very tough; a little injury won't hurt her. You don't need to worry about her."

Listening to this, I realized that Alisha's uncle didn't seem to care much about Alisha. This was quite strange. I asked Joey, "Alisha and her grandmother seem to have a strong bond. Has her grandmother been taking care of her all along?"

"After her grandmother fell into a coma, it was me who looked after her. I provided her with food, clothing, shelter, and even helped her find the perfect mate to marry and become the Luna of the Golden Crest. Without me, how could she have become the Golden Crest Luna? But every time I asked her for help, she would find excuses not to assist. That woman has no conscience."

At this point, Louie spoke sarcastically, "Alisha becoming the Luna of the Golden Crest was my grandmother's decision, and it had nothing to do with you. All I know is, you have been trying to find ways to use Alisha as a bargaining tool to marry her off to other packs. You have never really considered her happiness."

Hearing Louie's words, I turned disgusted to Joey. How dare he treat Alisha like this?

"She grew up in the Black Furies, and I raised her as well. She should contribute to the pack!" Joey tried to explained.

Louie narrowed his eyes. "I'm very curious how someone like you, who constantly thinks about selling his niece to get resource, became the Alpha of the Black Furies."

Joey's face suddenly turned pale, and he spoke sharply, "This is none of your business! This is the Black Furies, and if you don't watch your words, I will have you removed from here."

Louie snorted, "I wouldn't have come here if it weren't for Alisha."

Joey's face flushed with anger, "How dare you!"

Louie paid no attention to Joey and addressed me directly, "I don't want to waste any more time here. I'm going to find Alisha."

Before I could respond, Joey loudly exclaimed, "No, you have to stay here!"

I found Joey's reaction rather strange and asked him, "Why?"

Joey hesitated and stammered, "Uh, outsiders aren't allowed to go the treatment room. You both should stay here."

Louie stood up, stating, "I'm going to find Alisha." Without stopping, he headed straight for the door.

At this point, Joey urgently said to me, "You should stop your subordinate and prevent him from making an irreversible mistake!"

I chuckled, "He is not my subordinate; I have no control over him."

Upon hearing this, Joey was left dumbfounded. Then, he seemed to think Louie was a small potato, so he shouted at Louie again, "If you still refuse to stop, don't blame me for being rough!"

The next second, Joey shouted around, "Block him!" Three werewolves rushed in, obstructing Louie's path.

"Since you won't listen to me, you'll have to experience the power of the Black Furies," Joey said, motioning to them. The three werewolves then charged at Louie. Naturally, Louie wouldn't just surrender; he fought back.

I hadn't intended to get involved in this pointless battle. I was more interested in seeing the look on Joey's face when he found out that Louie was the Dark Moon's little prince. But the next moment, I caught the familiar scent of blood. It was Alisha!

I was immediately filled with anxiety. Alisha might be in trouble. I rushed towards the door, intending to find her. However, when Joey saw my movements, he became extremely nervous. He shouted, "Please stay here and do not leave without permission!"

I roared, "Get out of the way! Whoever dares to block us, I'll kill them!"

Seeing that Louie and I were about to easily overpower the werewolves blocking our path, Joey tightened his cheek and his face suddenly turned dark. He said, "Since both of you are so eager to find that wench, then go join her in death!"
