Pregnant After Being Marked By The Dangerous Alpha

Chapter 11

Ch. 11 / 113 Apr 24, 2026

Caitlyn's Perspective

“Guess we have to cut short our vacation.” Leona said in a disappointed tone, packing our package. “Do you think I’ll ever get to see Bard again?”

Obviously, she didn’t want to part from Bard.

“How do you feel about him? Can you feel the bond between you two as fated mates?” I asked while starting the engine. We were heading back to the Purple Moon Pack.

Leona nodded, her cheecks blushing.

"Then go and tell him about your feelings?"

"No, I can't,” Leona shook her head immediately, “I mean I want to, but I can't. I'm scared. What if he doesn't feel the same way?"

"I've seen the way you two look at each other in the camp. And I’m pretty sure you two are on the same page." I gently pinched her cheeks when waiting for the green light at a crossroad.

"You think so?" She asked in surprise.

"Yeah, but I could be wrong." I joked.

Leona gently hit my arm and we laughed together.

"I've never felt this way before." She confessed.

I dialed Bard’s number in secret when Leona was gazing outside the window.

"I've been nothing. I’ve never asked for anything extravagant from the Moon Goddess. But with Christmas around the corner, I wish I’d be gifted with Bard's heart."

"I wish the same.” Bard’s voice sounded from the other end of the call, which freaked Leona out.

She looked around the car, only to find the screen of my phone was on.

“Oh my god!” Leona exclaimed, reaching out for my phone and ended the call immediately.

"You were never the shy type, but it's cute to see you panic like this over a man," I laughed at her when Leona's phone beeped.

"It's Bard! He's asking to see me on Christmas Eve. Why do you think he wants to see me? Is he gonna reject me in person?"

“Cool down, girl. Didn’t you hear him in the call?” I cupped her cheeks. “He's not gonna reject you, Leona. I think he's going to confess his feelings for you."

On Christmas Eve.

Christmas lights lit up almost every street in town.

I walked Leona into the restaurant where Bard made a reservation. Wearting her prettiest dress under her winter coat, she looked fabulous.

Watching Bard helped Leona take off her coat, I couldn’t feel more happy for my friend.

Leona waved her hands at me when our eyes locked in.

"Thank you," she mouthed.

Not wanting the lovers to get distracted by my presence, I left the restaurant.

Walking on the street aimlessly, a tinge of loneliness rose in me.

Before getting dumped, I normally spent Christmas Eve with Jayce. As for my father, he had been busy with his duties, so we didn't have the tradition to celebrate Christmas together.

Watching couples giggling and walking hand in hand on the cold street, I couldn’t help but think of Talon.

Shaking my head lightly, I turned around after realizing that I was walking in the opposite direction.

"You should get one more coat. It's snowing." Talon's voice sounded unexpectedly.

I pinched my arm and made sure that I wasn’t having a dream. Talon was standing right in front of me!

Yet I pretended I didn’t see or hear him, and continued to walk.

Dissatisfied with my reaction, Talon grabbed my arm and forced me inside of his car.

"Let go of me! Open the door!" I demanded, but got ignored.

"I think we need to talk, Caitlyn." Talon said after starting the engine.

"Well, I don't! I don't want to even see you!" I was furious.

"Did you know that what you're doing is kidnapping? I can sue you and you can get arrested!"

Talon didn’t take me seriously until I began to dial 911. He grabbed my phone and threw it on the back seat.

"You're this upset over what happened on the camping ground the other week?" He asked.

"It’s more than that!" I decided to let out of all my grievance after running into him.

"And if you do call the police, I’ll just tell them that you're the mother of my child and we're just having an argument like most couples."

"That!" I screamed.

"You act as if there's more to our relationship than just me being pregnant with your baby. But in reality, you are fooling around with other women out there!" I ranted.

“Which one are you talking about?” Talon grinned, as if happy to see me getting mad.

“The one you had dinner at the shopping more!”

"Were you spying on me?" Instead of denying my charge, Talon asked back, still smiling.

"I was not spying! I just happened to be there and saw you!"

"You could have come to me then. I would introduce you to Camille. She’s a powerful witch. I thin you two will make good friends."

"You were jealous of Camille?” The smile on Talon's lips widened as I put on an akward look. “She’s just a friend. I wasn’t dating her. I invited her to dinner for business."

I stayed silent after Talon was done explaining.

"We're home," Talon said when the car stopped in front of a mansion, where the sigil of the Blood Wheel Moon Pack could be found on every pillar.

"Where is everyone?" I asked him when I realized that the house was empty.

"It's Christmas Eve. Everyone's with their family or mates," he answered before opening the door.

I couldn't help but frown when walking to a candle-lit dinner set up in the dining room.

"Merry Christmas, baby," he said, pecking on my lips before crouching and whispering the same to my tummy.

Unprepared for this grand surprise, I froze on the spot.
