Marrying My Twin's CEO Daddy

CH 30: A Happy Family

Ch. 30 / 98 Nov 19, 2024

Jensen’s POV

“Come on, hurry!” Jessie said. I had to admit she walked pretty fast despite her short legs and shorter body than me.

“Calm down. Why are you in such a hurry?” I asked, as I furrowed my eyebrows.

“If it takes too long to come out, I’m afraid Dad will look for me.”

“By the way, did you tell Ken to keep this a secret from your dad or anyone else?” I asked as I walked beside her.

“I did. Before picking you up, I explained everything to him. Take it easy,” she replied.

“What is the name of your dad’s friend who you said is a famous doctor?” I asked.

“Doctor Austin. He’s very handsome. I’ll tell you a secret. I like him and I hope when I grow up, I can find a boyfriend like him,” she said with a blush on her face and a smile on her lips.

I flicked her forehead. “What you should pay attention to is studying and being the brightest student in your class. You’re thinking about adult things that you shouldn’t be thinking about. Study well or else it’s a waste of my mom teaching you.”

In an instant, her mood became bad, her face sullen and her eyes glaring at me. “Am I not allowed to like someone? I think every girl dreams of their prince.”

“Oh, God. How can I have a sister like you?” I said as I walked ahead of her.

Just as I expected. She was not happy and grumbled, “Jensen, stop! How can you be sure if you were born before me?”

I stopped walking and turned around. “Oh, come on. Of course, I know because Mom told me. I was born a few minutes before you. Let’s go to Doctor Austin’s room now.”

Answering nothing, she walked past me. Soon, we arrived in front of the room with Doctor Austin’s name written above the door. Jessie knocked on the door a few times until finally a voice came from inside.

“Come in,” someone I assumed was Doctor Austin’s voice.

I pushed the doorknob down and pushed the door inward. It turned out that the voice that let us in was indeed Doctor Austin’s voice. He was sitting in his chair writing something. There was no one in the room.

“Jessie? What are you doing here? Did your father scold you?” he asked.

“Please have a seat. Would you like something to drink? Let me get you something,” he asked.

Jessie was right. Doctor Austin was handsome, soft-spoken, friendly, and full of smiles.

Suddenly, however, Doctor Austin was startled after observing both of our faces.

“W-wait! Jessie, do you have a twin brother? Why didn’t I know? Your faces are so similar. Oh shit! Jay must have hidden one of you for a special reason,” he asked, while observing our faces.

Jessie let out a long sigh. “It’s precisely because of this that we want to ask for your help. His name is Jensen.”

Doctor Austin put the pen he had been holding onto the table. With a serious look on his face, he asked, “Tell me what I can do for you?”

Then Jessie told him everything. Doctor Austin listened carefully while occasionally looking at both of our faces alternately.

“Oh, I understand now. Seven years ago, your dad had felt something was wrong the night he was with a girl. He felt the girl was acting strangely. It’s just that he didn’t find out afterward. So, he thought of that night as a thing of the past. It must have been your biological Mom who was with your dad that night. But how did Jessie end up in Megan’s hands? Could Megan have done something to your Mom?” Doctor Austin asked.

“That’s the story, Uncle. And here are the hair samples of the four of us. Please do a DNA test on it,” Jessie said as she handed him the hair sample.

Doctor Austin took the hair sample and asked again, “Once you know the results, what will you do?”

“We will tell Mom and Dad about the results of the DNA test. To be honest, Jensen was expecting a dad, while I was expecting a Mom who loves me. If Piper, Jensen’s Mom, is my biological Mom, then I will be thrilled. Please help us, Uncle,” Jessie pleaded.

“Okay, come back in four days. I’ll give you the results,” Doctor Austin replied.

“Uncle, please keep this a secret from anyone,” Jessie pleaded.

“Ok. Now you go home and pray that the DNA test results bring good news for you,” Doctor Kevin said.

We got up and walked towards the exit. After opening the door, I waved to Doctor Austin. “Goodbye, Uncle.”

“Bye, take care,” Doctor Austin replied.

Our future will be determined by the test results that will come out in four days. Hopefully, the four of us were indeed blood-related and can be united. I didn’t want Mom to be alone anymore, although I didn’t know my dad’s face and character. I hoped he could love and make us happy.

My wishes weren’t too grandiose. For as long as I can remember, I’ve just wanted a complete family, with my dad, mom, me, and my sister.

For a long time, I was jealous that all my friends had complete and warm families. They often played together with their fathers and spent time together with their families. I spent more time with my grandmother and she was always the one who picked me up from school. Mom was busy working and doing odd jobs after work to make ends meet for the three of us.

Aunt Lisa often offered her help, but Mom refused. She didn’t want to depend on others. Aunt Lisa helped me secretly. Mom was supposed to pay a lot of school fees. However, Aunt Lisa paid half my tuition every month without Mom’s knowledge because she had a good relationship with the school.

I’m grateful to the people who helped the three of us all these years. Without their help, I probably wouldn’t have been able to go to the best school in Valdirra. Without Aunt Lisa’s help, we might not have had a place to live, and so on. They are all angels without wings.

Jay’s POV

In the afternoon, when I had just come out of the meeting room, Ken came and asked me to talk to him privately. He had a serious look on his face. So, I invited him into my office. I invited him to sit in front of me.

“What’s wrong, Ken? You look very serious,” I asked.

“Sir, I have some important news,” he replied.

“What news? About whom?” I asked curiously.

“About Madam Megan,” he replied.

“What’s wrong with her? I don’t think I want to know about her.”

“Sir, this is important. I think this will be useful to you someday. If you want to know, I’ll take you somewhere and you’ll know everything,” he replied.

“Hmm, ok. Where are you taking me, and when?” I asked.

“Tonight. I have prepared everything for you,” he replied.

“Ok. Take me there.”
