Neo POV
‘Hey, meet me at the Mall later?’ I text my bro Kalen, maybe Sue will like to hang with a bunch of crazy wolves for a change. ‘Sure bringing the Lunas daughter? Heard she had a hard time with her old pack.’ Yeap word travels fast here. ‘Yep, ttyl.’ I put my cell back in my pockets.
I would love to know what the Alpha has to hide so hard. It is strange that he never had a child but to hear him say he can’t is a lie. I know an Alpha can have pups, he passed his doctors exams all the time, along with my father. But it's the Luna who holds so many secrets, no wonder Sue is upset.
My stomach starts to rumble and Sue giggles as she looks at my stomach just like me. I smile at everyone to lighten up the mood and it works but what happens makes me jump, Samie snaps her fingers and we are in the kitchen, what the flea market am I doing here.
“What in the flea market just happened? Hi G and G!” I say hi to the kitchen chefs, George and Georgina, yes they are mated and they are the ones who are parents to my ex. Really good chefs but into gossip not my thing but good soap operas. “Hey Neo how have you been? Hungry?” asks Mr. G. I am so happy the guy knows me like the back of his hand, I smile even brighter and smell the food being cooked, mmmmmmm yummy.
“Okay now I know you are no wolf.” says Sue, she sounds like she is trying to figure everything out and nobody is trying to explain things to her, that is a low blow. Guess I have as much on my plate as she does, I should hang with her and talk about this. It would be a really good idea to have things in a better method, a better direction. “FU**” I close my eyes and breathe heavily.
“What happened?” Sue asks me a bit concerned. “I forgot to put my episode to download on my PC… dang it now I have to search it or ask my bud Oogie about the episode. I need to watch it.” I can’t believe I forgot to download that episode. It's the actual fight of the main characters! I can feel the burn of my buds already, Sue smiles at me and it kinda feels nice to have someone be nice to my random self.
“Sue, I don’t think you are asking a lot but, I think after we eat with all the respect. We all need to think on how to mend and have a better solution other than the Academy. It’s not a bad idea but we need to give each other the same or better support teachers and mentors give. Isn’t that what parents are supposed to be about?” I ask in direct to the Alpha and Luna knowing that since G and G are here listening, the Alpha needs to make it more important the family or have the pack on his neck.
Not so long from my state Susie sees that G and G are looking at us with curious eyes, got you. Last time the Alpha made a fuss about these things he had hell with the pack so he now has no single choice. I snicker at how his face changed into an annoyed one. “I will take my leave, Sue, let me know your choice in our little talk.”
Sue makes a line with her lips and nods. I don’t know how everyone here thinks Sue can be a dummy for them and even less how she can handle all of this but I know she can do a lot more than I give her credit for. Which reminds me.
‘You and I seriously need to talk about that, a treasure hunt for a ruby choker sounds like a kick ass project. Even double crossing the Luna would be epic.’ I mind link Sue and her lips go into a smile line making me stiff a chuckle. ‘Yea we need to talk about a lot of stuff, Senpai.’ she answers my mind and I snap at her direction after hearing her call me Senpai, well hello Suie Cutie.
“You are right Neo. We will have a family discussion soon, after Luna and I speak and you two as well we will talk again.” the Alpha says with a lot of anger. I know he hates receiving orders but he knows he has to obey. Wow I am way more mature then I actually look.
‘Do not forget about the episode’ my wolf Sean tells me. ‘Yea I fu**** that one big time.’ I breathe heavily and then the food is put in my face, and my stomach makes an orchestra sound like a frog. Ribs! Yes! I chomped on my ribs and saw Sue do the same. Wow, this woman can eat.
‘Would she be our mate?’ Sean asks me, I don’t think she is but she is very interesting. Yes, she is a child in a way, but there is still her wolf to meet. ‘You can’t detect anything about her wolf?’ I was surprised at his statement and I did not ask earlier so I had no idea but now that I hear him say that makes me wonder even more. ‘ No, her wolf, nothing has come. Odd.’ yea odd indeed.
‘Alpha, what are you hiding? I asked Sean if he can pick up anything from Susie's wolf and he says he can’t sense a single thing.’
I ask my Alpha as we eat. ‘Her wolf is someone who will show to be like yours, do not tell her anything.. You know what I mean by this.’ The Alpha responded to me with a firm tone, not an Alpha’s command but still.
‘I wont tell her but Sean is a water wolf what will Sue’s wolf be? Earth? A Hybrid or what?’ Now I am curious about this so I start eating slower.
‘Do you remember the nursing story of the red wolf?’ he mind links back and my mouth stays open. Shit.
