Jaime POV
As soon as I get up from the floor I look to my surroundings to try and find Susie but I can’t find her then something tells me to go to the hospital and as I do I’m following a very familiar sent something that I had years ago can it be?
I pick up my pace and as I am running through groups of people that are looking from a far what has come to happen is he exactly what caused the explosion it seems someone did an inside job in my own pet Hospital the hell is going on!
I push people from the side till I get to the front and when I do the smell is even stronger than when I was eating it I look around me to see why I am having this smell it’s been so many years since I’ve had this exact smell not even Britney smells this way and then again she’s just a chosen mate!
When I finally see her trying to move some big blocks of cement she’s crying as she’s doing this and it’s literally breaking my heart why? Why is she crying? That I remember Alpha Neo was in there, her mate was in the hospital doing the job he was asked to do. Shit.
I move myself to try and help her not continue and let the ones that do it do this for a living to do their job and have the assistance of warriors, no episode in the shock goes right through me as I hold onto her and she automatically stops and this feeling, the smell, her warmth.
‘Mate’ comes the voice of Kai and I freeze with the words.
She turns and looks at me with Hope but is soon as she sees it’s me her hope disappears and she starts to shake her head no and breaks out crying again sobbing her eyes out as if she’s having a nightmare. I hold onto her and do not allow her to hit the floor she just lost her mate.
‘Alpha! We found the man with the blue hair! He is not breathing Alpha!’ A warrior mind links me and I hold on a bit tight to Susie, she is going to be crushed when I tell her.
‘Bring him out here now!’ She sobs even harder and I start to cooe her with my back massages.
“Bring him! Bring him back to me! I can! I can save him!” She shouts and I run my hands a bit more to her back when we hear the Al warriors come out with his body, as soon as she sees him in the floor she pushes me to shift into her wolf.
Her flames start to spark and she walks on top of him to then lay down on him. The flame starts to spark a little bit more and the smell that I was having of her starts to evaporate. Looking more closer I see the tears from her wolf are dropping down on him and his flame is becoming even more intense than it was to the point that I need to walk backwards a little bit more just went on a little bit more farther away the unsinkable happens. Alpha Neo rises from his position and hugs the wolf.
“Susie, you shouldn’t have done that” he says and her wolf whimpers, making him chuckle.
“My cutie suie, you knew that this was meant to happen, you will be paying a very difficult price my love, let me go. It’s time.” He asks but then his aura changes from an omega to a Beta.
“Changing me into a Beta again? What not good enough for an Alpha? Alright guess I’ll need to train again cutie suie” he chuckles and I sigh with a chuckle at his humor in this moment.
“Jaime! What the hell?!” Comes the voice of my Beta and I smile at him with a knowing face.
“Guess we had a good group to take care of our problem but now we need a solution, remember the old church in the center of the city? The one that is only used for Sundays?” I order him with my words and he runs to do as I asked when everyone gasps, I turn to see Susie shifting back.
Neo holds on to her tightly, but that’s not what catches me off guard is seeing how older she truly looks like now. Neil takes off his shirt and Place is it on her which fits her just right she then gets up and hold onto her tight he moves to my direction and I nod sending a mining to at least one warrior to go with him and make sure that they’re both all right I’ll also mind linking the doctor to go and make sure that she’s fine now there’s more questions and answers. And less people to have the answers to most of my questions.
Seeing as the day will not go the way I wanted it or planted I seen the main link to one of the Omega‘s to go to Britney and make sure that she and the pup is fine hoping strongly that things at least come out in a much positive way if I get one more than news today I swear I am going to jump off a third roof and then straight face palming all of my pack house.
‘Please go to my house and check on your Luna, she was feeling nauseous and hasn’t eaten anything, try giving her some fruits and water to our home, report to me everything you see and she has told you, understood?’
‘Yes alpha.’
