Neo POV
Holding on to my desire to sucker punch the Alpha was becoming a hard task and I’m almost to the very edge of my seat in doing it, his face of longing, the annoyance he gave towards Sue’s outfit and seeing her get herself involved in a matter he was asking help for infuriated me to no end.
But even with all of this Sue was calm about it all, she was doing her job as a Luna, a wonderful woman that made me feel proud to call my mate. We reached on a conclusion that his pack is either harvesting rogues by black mailing or there’s a corrupted alliance here.
Once we gave him his folders back, we walked out to gather our intel in the area but both Sue and I know we need to be discreet about how we make this happen, we took the bottle of our witch and drank it before we shifted into our wolves, so instead of a blue wolf I would be a black and dark gray wolf, whiles Susie would be a red brown wolf.
We ran around the pack, from the pack house to the village, to the edges of the pack boarders, when we saw every inch of the place we were now getting ideas of how difficult it would have been to even try to get inside the pack but then Sue mind linked me with something I wasn’t considering.
‘Do you think there’s a witch or a wizard helping these attacks? I’m sending the same type of energy but it’s darker much darker, haven’t you felt anything like that yet babe?’ She asks me as I was looking into the walls that divides the pack from the others and saw a marking that my grandpa had thought me of when it came to hunters around the area.
‘I think he is dealing with more than just a witch, wizard and rogues, this is serious stuff Sue, we might need a tracker for what I’m thinking’
She walked towards me in her wolf form as I kept my sight on those bricks, she moved her gaze to where mine where and sat down as she couldn’t see what I was seeing so she mind linked me after trying for a whole minute.
‘What are you looking at?’ She asks and I turn to head back.
‘A hunters marking of what I’m not sure but it’s a mark from them we are going to need to talk to the alliances of Jaime’s there’s a trap set here and his downfall is the grand price’ I start to jog after she turns to follow me.
Seeing Jaime’s wolf I slowed down to wait for Susie’s wolf, she looked puzzled of something and I wasn’t sure what that was about but I know when she wants to tell me she will.
We arrive back in the pack house we’re we are staying in one of the rooms, Kilala has been keeping us with the best help from the omegas that work there, we were planing on how to make the next moves as we kept our minds open with how things worked here.
Considering that Susie lived here for a long time she knew how things were runned but I wanted her to act as if she forgot because then we could see what changed and what is taking a different course that we are not seeing.
On the morning of the next day we did a smaller run without having the warriors know about it, it wasn’t easy as I needed to stay more then I wanted to appreciate but in Susie’s case she lived here so many of the ones who lives here knew her and allowed her to run around the pack more, feeling like an outcast is normal but this was ridiculous.
When Susie returned with nothing but the same as we saw the first night, we were drawing more attention to the idea that this is all set up and it involved more then just rogues, changed at ready to go to the dinner our door is knocked and I open it to revela Kilala on the other side.
“Alpha, Luna I was slaked to come and get you to meet those alliances that live along side our pack, we will be joining them for dinner.”
I took Susie‘s hand and we followed her all the way into the dining room never many pack liters with their mates and the room was very much secured with each different warriors from various packs to which is clear that they come from the alliances however I wasn’t expecting to meet one particular Alpha.
“Susie?” Comes the voice a man who could pass for a model instead, the man was clearly an Alpha but the way he looked at my girl wasn’t from an Alpha, I growled as I pulled her to my chest possessively.
“Down boy I’m not going anywhere, I’m all yours” she re assured me and snarled at the other Alpha who was trying to get near her, is he trying to lose a hand or both?
“Alpha Mykel it’s been a long time, allow me to introduce ourselves, this is my mate Alpha Neo of the Green Pack, we came to assist in the troubles of Small Moon Pack. Glad to know your alliance was never rejected even after time went on” she stated and I puff my chest to her answer.
We were wearing the same clothes we picked to look our best as alpha and Luna, it was a good color on us both even if we were from the green pack, I wore a dark blue slacks, blue dressing shoes with a light red button down shirt that compared to my mates light red romper.
“Did you painted your hair, it suits you Sue” Mykel says and I hold his shirt when he shouts at me.
“Hey what gives?!” I growl and the water form the glasses turn poisonous, fun fact Water, just like any other substance, can be considered a poison when over-consumed in a brief period of time. Water intoxication mostly occurs when water is being consumed in a high quantity without adequate electrolyte intake.
