Chapter 465: What Made Her Special?

Diana raised an eyebrow. “Yep. Ever since this came out, our phones haven’t stopped ringing. Big brands want to work with us!”

“What?” Bianca was shocked. She thought the scandal would hurt the agency. But instead, it was opening doors.

Diana looked excited. “And get this—Phoenix Alliance Group hasn’t denied any of it. Not a word. It’s all over the trending charts. Doesn’t that mean they’re owning up to it? Bianc, we’ve got a powerful ally now!”

“Wait a minute.” Bianca stopped her. Her thoughts were in a mess. “So… these partners want to work with us because of Dave’s connection to me?”

“Exactly!” Diana grinned. “Didn’t you see the video? He really knows how to make a scene!”

Diana then grabbed Bianca’s hand and pulled her along. As they walked, she copied Dave’s voice in a deep tone and said, “She’s irreplaceable. Like the red diamond, she has my heart.”

Bianca gave a crooked smile. “Skylar was such a mess. Imagine her telling Dave not to marry me! That was pure guilt-tripping.” She glanced at Diana and gave a quick wink.

“So tell me, Bianc,” Diana said. “What’s really going on with you and Dave? “He’s not the bad guy you described he was before, right?”

“Well…” Bianca paused, struggling for words. “It’s complicated. Let’s deal with the company stuff first. I’ll explain everything after.”

Diana didn’t push for more. “Fair enough. But here’s the thing—people online have mixed opinions about you and Dave. Still, business is booming! Maybe the production team’s being careful because of your link to him. That’s why they left it up to you. So, Bianc, what’s your plan?”

“For Blake and Reese, tell the production team to post their full performance video,” Bianca said firmly. “Let the public see it for themselves. Facts matter more than rumors.”

“And for Reese, set up interviews. Get the video ready. We need to clear her name. As for Dave and me…” Bianca paused, thinking. “Saying anything will only arouse negative things more than it should be. Let our actions speak. No need to explain.”

Diana was impressed by how quickly and confidently Bianca made her choice. She gave her a thumbs-up to show support.

"I’ll handle them now," Diana said.

Once Diana left, Bianca leaned back in her chair. She plugged in her phone and turned it on. Then she started scrolling through the comments online.

To her surprise, while some people were saying hurtful things, others stood up for her.

"I’ve liked Bianca since the audition hosted by Vincent. Without her, Sophia wouldn’t have returned or done so well. She’s clearly talented!"

"Exactly. Blake and Reese’s performances on the show have nothing to do with Dave. They earned it on their own. People shouldn’t always assume there’s something shady going on."

"I think Bianca and Dave make a good pair. They’re both focused on business. Not like Skylar, who skipped the show just to marry rich and act like she’s better than everyone else."

"I have to say, Bianca and Dave’s story feels like a real-life fairy tale. It’s so sweet."

Bianca realized these comments entertaining.

Bianca didn’t expect that her long journey in the entertainment world had gained her such loyal fans. It moved her to see them speak up for her during a tough time.

Below those comments, one user kept replying, "Skylar is Dave’s fiancée, and Bianca is just the other woman!"

That user was Skylar. She was walking back and forth in her house, fuming after reading all the praise for Bianca.

Why did people cheer Bianca on after her affair with Dave went public, while she got slammed for something similar?

How could anyone think Bianca and Dave were a good match? These people clearly had no sense!

Skylar believed she was the only one who should be with Dave.

But who had shared that video? Everyone at the event had signed a confidentiality agreement. No one was supposed to say anything. So why would someone record and leak it?

Skylar was furious. She felt the video was meant to target her. Could Bianca have done it?

That didn’t make sense. Bianca was in the video too, and she had arrived alone.

After thinking it over, Skylar suddenly had an idea. There was someone else at the banquet who had mocked her. It was Natalie. Could she be the one behind it?

Without thinking twice, Skylar called Natalie and asked her directly. "Natalie, are you the one spreading gossip about Bianca and Dave online?"

Natalie was on the filming set when she got the call. She froze as soon as she heard the question.

How did Skylar suspect her? She had been so careful.

"Miss Larson, I don’t know what you’re trying to say. I’ve been busy filming and haven’t followed any gossip online," Natalie said, trying to stay calm.

"Wait, are you talking about that video? I think I saw it. People couldn’t stop talking about it."

"Natalie, you better think twice about what you’ve done. If the Evans Group finds out you’ve damaged their name, do you know what could happen?" Skylar snapped.

Natalie felt a bit bothered but quickly composed herself. "Maybe you should worry about yourself instead. Do you really think the Evans family wants their heir to marry someone who causes a scene in public?"

"How dare you!" Skylar shouted, her face turning red with anger.

"If that’s all, don’t call me again. We’re not friends," Natalie said and hung up.

Skylar clenched her teeth, feeling pissed off. She worried that if Bianca’s business partners found out Dave was supporting her, they might choose to keep working with Bianca.

If Bianca had Dave on her side, Skylar knew she only had Lucas left.

While she was deep in thought, Lucas came out of the room. "Skylar, can you make me some tea?" he asked, rubbing his temples.

Skylar quickly helped Lucas sit down. Then she knelt in front of the table and began to prepare the tea.

Lucas watched her quietly. She moved gracefully and skillfully. He couldn’t understand why Dave didn’t like someone like her .

Why did he choose Bianca instead? What made her so special?

When the tea was ready, Skylar smiled and handed the cup to Lucas with both hands.

Lucas took a sip and smiled.

"I’ve always liked your tea. It’s different. I’ve gotten used to it. Now I don’t enjoy tea made by anyone else," he said.
