Accidentally Slept With The Ruthless Billionaire

Chapter 481: Can’t You Act Your Age?

Ch. 481 / 630 Apr 22, 2026

In a gentle voice, Bianca said, “Let’s wait until Dave finishes his work before we register the car.”

Wyatt smiled. “He told me the car is for you. I’m just doing my job. If I don’t, it’ll look like I failed him.”

Bianca sighed. There was no point in arguing. Dave wasn’t short on money. It was just a car. If he wanted her to have it, why not accept it?

She had always been honest and practical.

Even if they broke up one day, she could always give it back.

With that thought in mind, Bianca followed the staff member to finish the car’s registration.

When she finally left the venue, it was already afternoon. She checked her phone. Still no reply from Dave. A hint of worry crept in.

“Is he still not done with work?”

Wyatt knew she was talking about Dave. He said, “Today’s a bit complicated. He might be tied up for a while. Miss Scott, would you like to drive yourself back, or should I take you?”

Bianca looked at the Lamborghini keys in her hand. She remembered getting her license back in college, but it had been a long time since she last drove. She wasn’t feeling confident.

Driving by herself felt too risky.

“Wyatt, I haven’t driven in years. I think you’ll have to take me.”

“Of course.”

Wyatt took the keys, got into the Lamborghini, and pulled it around to her. He opened the door, and once she got in, they left together.

Not far away, hidden behind some bushes, Natalie’s assistant watched their movements with a camera in hand. She slowly grinned as she snapped photos of the scene.

Later, when Leonel got back, his eyes landed on a bright red Lamborghini parked outside.

As a car lover, he knew right away it was a limited edition and extremely valuable.

He remembered seeing one just like it at this year’s luxury car show. It had sold for three hundred million.

He pulled out his phone and checked the photos.

It was the same car.

Leonel was shocked.

At home, Bianca had taken a long, hot shower and changed into her pajamas. She dropped onto the couch, completely drained, and turned on the TV.

Just then, Madison came out of her room. Her eyes softened when she saw Bianca.

“Bianc, rough day? You look tired.”

Bianca pressed her lips together, feeling restless. “Nothing new. I’m used to it. Running a business is never easy. What about you, Mom? Are you feeling better today?”

Since leaving the hospital, Madison had been resting at home. Today, her face looked brighter, a sign she was getting better.

“I’m feeling much better,” Madison said. She sat down beside Bianca, her tone turning serious. “There’s something important I need to discuss with you.”

Bianca sat up straight, her body tense. “What is it?”

Madison poured a glass of water and took a slow sip. “I’m going back to work at Cherish tomorrow.”

Bianca’s eyes widened. She knew this moment would come, but it still caught her by surprise.

She frowned. “But you were just in the hospital. Are you sure you’re ready?”

“I’m fine now,” Madison said calmly. “You know I hate sitting around. And ever since I got sick, Cherish hasn’t been doing well. I built that company. I need to bring it back.”

Bianca saw the determination in her mother’s eyes and gave her a soft smile.

Maybe going back to Cherish really was what her mother needed.

Then Madison asked, “By the way, have you talked to Mr. Evans lately?”

A brief flicker of panic crossed Bianca’s face, but she quickly covered it and said, “No.”

Madison looked at her and said gently. “Bianc, I know Cherish is under the Phoenix Alliance Group now, but don’t feel like you have to impress them for me, okay?”

Bianca nodded, but her mind was far away. Suddenly, she asked, “Mom, if... if Dave and I hadn’t broken up, would you support us?”

Madison paused, then asked gently, “Will he marry you?”

Bianca looked down. Her heart ached.

Madison let out a quiet sigh. “Bianc, you’re my only daughter. I just want you to get married, have kids, and be happy. That’s all I ever wish for.”

“Mom, why are you saying this?” Bianca stepped forward and hugged her tightly. The thought of losing her again made her chest tighten.

Madison gently patted her back. “Marrying into a wealthy family is like jumping into deep water. I’ve seen too many women suffer in those marriages. If a woman doesn’t have strong support, it’s hard. I don’t want that for you. I just want you to live free and happy, like everyone else.”

“But Dave isn’t part of the Evans family anymore,” Bianca said gently.

Madison looked at her, surprised.

Madison turned to face Bianca, her voice filled with doubt. “Did he do that because of you?”

Bianca felt a rush of panic but forced a small smile. “I don’t think so.”

“I really hope he didn’t leave the Evans Group or cut ties with his family for your sake,” Madison said, easing a bit.

“Why would that be a problem?” Bianca asked.

Madison gave her a sharp look. It said more than words could.

“The Evans family? They’re the biggest players in Edenfield. Their reach goes far beyond this city. And Dave? He was their most promising heir. Do you really think his grandfather would just let him walk away and start a new life?”

Bianca knew how powerful the Evans family was. “There’s no way Lucas Evans will let his best heir turn into competition. He’ll pull Dave back sooner or later.”

“Exactly,” Madison said, nodding. Then she dropped the real worry. “And what if the old man finds out Dave left because of you?”

Bianca’s chest tightened. That was the question that haunted her. Her eyes darkened.

“He’ll destroy me,” she whispered in a trembling voice.

Madison quickly placed a hand on her shoulder. “You need to stay away from him, alright?”

Bianca’s heart sank.

She wanted to tell the truth about her and Dave, but she chose to keep it herself.

At that moment, Leonel rushed into the room, full of energy.

“Mom, Bianc, you won’t believe what I just saw downstairs!”

Madison rolled her eyes in disbelief.

“Seriously, Leonel? Show some manners! Can’t you act your age?”

Leonel ignored the scolding and said excitedly, “It’s the flashiest Lamborghini I’ve ever seen! That thing sold for three hundred million at today’s car show. It’s pure luxury!”

He ran to the table, grabbed a cup, and took a big gulp, still fired up. “I had no idea we had such rich neighbors,” he said, completely unaware of Bianca’s growing tension.
