When I heard Patricia got into an accident, I went numb and quickly ran to the hospital. I even forgot Elsa for a second. I texted her about the situation quickly after I arrived at the hospital.
When I went there, Patricia was already in coma.
"What happened?" My friend, Tim, was already in the hospital.
"Well they said that she was driving in high speed and then the road was too slippery because it's raining her car slipped and crashed a electricity pole."
"That girl.."
"She's been missing you and she's crazy when she heard you already got someone else."
Tim is one of my close friends but he close to Patrica than me so he knows everything about her.
"She's the one who leave me so it's not my fault."
"She- argh it's not my place to tell the story.."
I sat on the hospital chair and felt guilty. I don't know why I'm so panic about her being hospitalized. I kept and waiting for her to wake up. I stayed at the hospital and sat next to her. My phone rang and it’s .
"Jayson.." She said coldly.
"Hey mom, what’s up?"
"Are you crazy? You're in the hospital for 4 days straight, go back to work!" She literally scolded me.
"Mom, she's still in coma."
"She got someone to look after her right? So go to work and you can check on her again after you go to ."
"Okay." I said weakly.
"I'm not finish yet.."
"What?"
"Have you been in contact with Elsa these days?" Shit.
"No."
"You'll lose her if you're being like this.." She said coldly after that she hung up. I quickly called Elsa I just got my braincells back.
'Not available'
I tried again and yes it's not available again. Don't panic Jayson, maybe she's busy or have a project.
Keep calm, let’s just contact her an hour later. I went to work and I can't think straight. Patricia and Elsa me worried. Elsa was making me even furious.
'Not available' again.
This is getting weird. Not available? She always got her phone with her everywhere. Let's just go to her , maybe she's there or at her part time job or college? Let's just go to her apartment first.
After work, I drove to her apartment. I walked to the lift and press her apartment floor. After I arrived, I to her apartment and knocked. Suddenly the door opened but not Elsa. I looked at the number , I was on the right unit.
"What brings you here, young man?" The woman in her 60s asked.
“I'm looking for the girl who lives here, why are you here?" I asked.
"I just move here yesterday and as for the girl, I don't know.."
"Okay, thankyou."
Her phone is not available, she moved somewhere else and let's check her part time job place. I drove to coffee shop, I walked in there.
"Are you looking for Elsa?" One of the staff asked and I nodded.
"She resigned a few days ago." Her other friend said.
"What? Resign?"
"You just knew? You're her boyfriend but you don't know anything about it?"
Else, where the hell did you go? I kept calling her but it's not available. This is getting weird. I began to and I decided to go to her college. I drove there and hope she's there studying.
"Good evening, Mr.Moretti."
"I'm looking for Elsa Koshly, is she's in class today?" I asked.
"Your fiancee? Why-"
"Just do as I say.." She began to click her computer and looking for something.
"Yeah she did, 2 hours ago her class ended."
I started to stress myself, suddenly I saw her friend. I ran to her and she looked at me coldly.
"You're Elsa’s friend right?"
"Yeah."
"Where is she?"
"Why should I tell you?" She hissed.
"I need to see her. "Where is she?" I asked once again
"I don't know, she's been disappearing lately..”
"Do you know where she lives?"
"No.”
"Okay then, thanks." I walked out and went to my car. I sat in the car thinking where could she be? Why is acting like this?
For the rest of the week, I never found her. She just disappeared like smoke. Patricia got out from the condition but my attention was more focused on Elsa. Mom called me to stop by at her house. As
I’m driving there, I saw Elsa. I stopped the car without thinking and I got out from the car to catch her but disappeared. Am I getting delusional?
I got back to my car and drove to my parents house.
“Hi, mom.”
"Where is Elsa? You didn't bring her too?" I sighed and shook my head.
"Why are you look like a mess?" She asked and cupped my face.
"Hey, son.." My father appeared and hugged me.
"Where is Elsa?" He asked the same thing, I shook my head.
"What happened?" My mom asked, I sighed.
"She's nowhere to be found." I said honestly.
"What do you mean nowhere to be found? You broke up wih her?" We sat in the living room.
"We're never in a relationship, mom."
"What?" My dad blurted.
"It's a long story.."
"We have all day now spill.." My mom said.
