I didn't order anything, I looked at the card.
Jayson: Wear this.
I smiled and brought the box inside. I have to go to work in 1 hour. I walked to my sink and have to wash dishes. I started to put the soap on and wash the plate and pan. Suddenly I heard something falling to the ground. I opened my eyes slowly and I felt the warmness in my hand. Jayson's head beside me and he was sitting on the floor, he must be tired. I smiled and thankful that he’s here. I touched my forehead and there's a towel. I let his hand go slowly and got out from my bed.
I wanted to cook something. Curry will be nice. I started to cook, I looked at the clock. It's 6 in the morning, I have class in 3 hours and I have to work at 3 p.m until night. Tonight, Jennifer will come here and we will have a girl's night.
After I was done cooking, I walked to my room and found Baekhyun still sleeping in an awkward position. I kneeled down and poked him.
"Jayson.. Jayson.." I poked his shoulder, he moved.
"Jayson, get up." I poked his body again, he started to open his eyes. As soon as he saw me he touched my forehead and he smiled.
"Just rest for today, will you?" He said as he held my hands together. I looked at him and smiled.
"I'm fine.. you don't need to worry."
"You're too tired, can you take a day off today?" He said and I shook my head
"I can't I have work."
"Can someone replace you for today?" He asked, I shook my head.
"Come on let's eat, I made you a curry." I pulled his hand and we walked outside.
"Do you like curry?" I asked and he nodded.
"Sit and eat."
“Okay.” He said as he looked at the food in front of him. He took a bite and he looked up to me.
“Is it good?”
“Yeah, it is..” He said and I sat down across him taking a bite too.
“Wow..” I said and he kept eating.
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“Taking care of me..” I said and he nodded.
“Do you have class today?” He asked as he looked at me.
"Yeah in 3 hours."
"I'll dropped you there."
"It’s okay. You’re going to work right? I can go there by myself."
"I said I'll drop you."
"I said no need."
"Elsa.."
"What?"
"Stop being stubborn will you?"
"You have work."
"It's my own company, I can do whatever I want. No one will scold me for being late."
"But-"
"No buts.."
"About the ball tomorrow.."
"What about it?"
"What time will you pick me up? What color should I wear?" I asked.
"I'll pick you up at 6.30 and for the color I'll inform that later."
"Okay."
After we ate, he casually sat on the sofa and watch TV. He sat beside me and I looked at teh clock.
"You know you can go home and shower and then go to work.."
"I can do that later."
"Okay." I stood up but he stopped me.
"What?" I asked. He suddenly interwined his hand with mine. I raised my eyebrows confused.
"Don't try too hard about the ring, you will hurt yourself." He said as he looked at my hand.
"I-It-its your moms, I have to get it out and return it to where it belongs."
"She gave it to me so I can give to the person that I will spend the rest of my life with."
"Don't worry, I'll get out in time befo-"
"I don't want it to get out from your finger anyway." We both looked at each other and I looked away.
"Jayson, it's not mine so I have to find a way to get it out." I said and made my way to the bathroo. I took a shower, I put on my white skinny jeans and light blue long sleeve shirt. I put my hair down and put a little bit of make up. I went out from my room and saw Jayson yawning so wide it makes me chuckled. He turned to me and his eyes widen.
"You look beautiful." He said.
"Thanks."
"We still have around 2 hours, you want to go now?" He asked and I nodded.
"After this, you can go home and rest for a bit." I smiled
"I told you I-"
"I know." I got out from my apartment and he followed. We got into his car and he drove in a different direction to my campus.
"Jayson, it's the other way. I think you miss-"
"I know."
"So where are we going?"
"Somewhere beautiful."
"Where?"
"Be patient." He turned to me for a split second. He drove to a high place and as we arrived we can see the whole Los Angeles. I took a picture with my phone and closed my eyes to feel the breeze. I sat on the front side of the car and he sat next to me. I was still admiring the view.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" He asked.
"Yeah it is."
"I always go here if I need some time to relax."
"You seem lonely.." I looked at him, he nodded.
"I don't have a sibling and my parents always teach me to be independent."
"You won't feel lonely anymore now, I'll teach you how to have fun." I patted his shoulder, he chuckled.
"How about you?" He asked.
"My parents is in Dallas, I have one little sister, she’s younger than me by 4 years."
"Her name?"
"Hannah."
"I bet she's like you."
"Yeah basicly the same." I chuckled remembering me sister.
"We still have around 1 hour 16 minutes." He said as he looked at his watch.
"Yeah it's fine, I can ride a bus down there."
"I said I will drop you."
"Okay."
"Are you cold?" It's a little bit cold but I can hold it. I shook my head. He went inside his car and took a jacket. He put the jacket to me and sit beside me again.
"Let's share it." I sit closer to him and shared it. He put his arms around my shoulder. Okay this is awkward.
"Don't try to take the ring off, I think it's stuck there because at last it finds it's owner." He smiled to me and I looked at the ring.
