Jakes POV
"Phasmatos." one witch whispered, igniting the circle of candles.
I was definitely impressed. This had been the first time I had seen magic done. I was very rusty with my translation, but I'm sure she was speaking Latin; it had been years since I learned it, so I could be completely wrong.
"All right, Alpha Jake, please place Princess Angel into the circle's centre." Henrik asked.
I gently picked Angel up from the bed and carried her into the lounge area, placing her head onto the pillow and her body on the floor. As I went to leave the circle, the flame on the candles became much taller, preventing me from leaving.
"What the fuck Henrik!" I shouted.
"I'm sorry, Alpha Jake, but we need you to remain with your mate. You were right when you said drawing from her and William would make them weak, so for Angel to have the strength to wake, you must keep contact with her."
"You're making no fucking sense Henrik." Nick was quick to intervene.
"All he needs to do is to hold her hands, keeping them that way throughout the ritual. She will draw strength from your mate bond. If you let go Alpha Jake, even for a second, she will be lost. The ritual, once started, will only take a few minutes; however, those minutes are vital. Do you understand?"
"Yes, though you could have cleared this up before trapping me in here. Just start, please." Henrik just nodded and gestured for me to get into position.
Taking Angel's hands, I stared at her beautiful face and braced myself for whatever would happen. The Gemini coven took their places around the circle holding their arms out to their sides. Henrik opened a vile of William's blood and let it drip onto the candle flame in front of him before passing it around the circle, each witch doing the same. The flames on the candles turned red as they began to draw power from William. William had given them a vile of blood so that he could head the security outside of the room, ensuring the Gemini's safety while they cast their spell. All of a sudden, their heads all went back, and their eyes went a foggy white. Everything was eerily silent for about a second before they began to chant.
"Luna dormientis vigilantibus eruimus forma a somno in auxilium nobis reddere, superioribus nostris in sanguine fueld potestatem puero excitare pretium, Luna dormientis vigilantibus eruimus forma a somno in auxilium nobis reddere." They all chanted in unison, their voices majorly different from how they sounded just moments ago.
"Ahhhhh" Angel screamed before her eyes shot open, causing me to jump out of my skin. "Where am I? Where is he?" She asked before breaking down into tears.
"Your safe, Angel. I've got you, and I promise no one will ever hurt you again." Pulling her to my chest, I held her tight.
"Oh, my goddess Angel" Marie ran over, tears falling from her face as she dropped to Angel's side.
"I'm so sorry, Aunt Marie. I wasn't strong enough." Angel sobbed as she let herself fall into Marie's arms.
"My darling, you didn't do anything wrong. You stopped Jason just in time before he could.... Just know you stopped him." Marie told her, also breaking down.
I stood up and walked over to Henrik, punching him square in the jaw and knocking him to the floor. Before the witches could retaliate, William appeared and stood between us, his hand outstretched, halting them.
"I wake your Princess, and you attack me. What is the meaning of this?" He asked furiously while holding his jaw.
"You thought I wouldn't find out about Jason's future attack. Your witch for-sore a member of my pack die, and you were going to keep quiet and let it happen. You would let us protect you all the while not caring about us losing one of our own?" The room shook as my voice boomed.
"Jake, is everything all right?" Benson mind linked me, having felt the waves of my anger.
Keeping my eyes on Henrik, I unlocked the door allowing Benson and the guards inside.
"It would appear that Henrik over here knows when Jason's attack will happen and didn't feel the need to let us know." I told everyone in the room as they had a right to know.
Angel walked up beside me, placing a hand on my chest, sending a calming motion through the bond that would be strengthened once marked. I looked down into those big blue eyes I had longed to see again, pulling her into a passionate kiss.
Henrik POV
I guess I deserved Jake's right hook as much as it bruised my ego to admit I may have made the wrong decision in not coming clean about Sadie's vision.
"Sadie's visions are constantly changing. What she's seen may not be what happens." I told everyone as they glared daggers at me.
"Whether they happen the same way or not, we deserve to be informed. You are a guest of this pack. We are keeping you safe whilst your coven resides here, yet you choose to disrespect us." Benson was angry, but I understood why.
"Yeh, man, that's not cool. Want me to kick his ass, Jake?" Sid added though I'm sure I heard someone chuckle.
"I wanted to tell you about my vision, and I'm sorry I didn't. What I saw was... disturbing, to say the least." A brunette spoke as she stepped forward.
"Sadie, I assume. What did you see? We need to know if there is the slightest chance we can prevent it."
Sadie looked at me as I walked over to her. I rubbed her arm and nodded, letting her know it was ok for her to tell them.
"According to my vision, Jason sends someone to infiltrate your pack. And as a result, one of your pack will die." Sadie told them.
All the wolves just looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Jake walked over to her, demanding to know about the rest of her vision.
"One of yours will fall. I don't think it's a good idea to say who. I'm sorry." Sadie added before stepping back.
"Is it someone present?" Jake asked.
Sadie looked at him and then at everyone else as they waited for an answer. She just looked to the floor in response, letting them know it was one of the wolves here.
"Who?" Nick asked, his eyes flashing to those of his wolf.
"Nick, she won't say. I myself don't know. I know you don't believe me, but it's true. However, now you know you've got time to prepare."
"Jake, I want to kill him myself." Angel spoke as she looked over at him.
"Angel, no, I'm not letting you anywhere near him again. You nearly didn't survive your last encounter." William was quick to dismiss her thoughts.
"Who are you?"
