The Homeless Billionaire

Chapter 25

Ch. 25 / 77 Mar 12, 2026

XAZIX

I arrived in Texas late in the evening, exhausted from the long drive from New York. As soon as I discarded my rental car, I knew I needed a new one. But first, I needed to find the woman I was looking for.

I arrived at the motel where she was staying, and headed straight to the reception. The receptionist was a plump blonde woman, dressed in a black shirt and white skirt. I greeted her curtly, resting my right arm on the counter and slouching from the weariness of the ride.

"Good evening sir. Are you here to make a reservation?" she smiled at me professionally, her eyes darting from me to her computer, then back to me again.

I shook my head. "No. I'm here to inquire about a lady who lodged here. Here is a picture of her," I said, handing over the girl's picture to her.

She looked at me suspiciously as she collected the picture and peered at it keenly. "I'm sorry. We don't give out information about any of our clients, even if you have proof that you know the person personally. It's our policy here to maintain the privacy of our clients," she said cautiously.

I sighed, feeling frustrated. "Look, I need to find her urgently. Can you please make an exception? I promise I won't cause any trouble," I pleaded with her.

But she remained firm. "I'm sorry, sir. I cannot break the rules. It's my job to ensure that our clients' privacy is protected," she said sternly, avoiding my piercing frustrated eyes.

I leaned on the counter, feeling my temper rise. "Should I do this the hard way? And if you attempt to call security, I promise you that you will be dead and gone before they come," I threatened her in a low voice.

I raised my shirt slightly, enough for her to see the four different hunting knives I had strapped to my waist. They were my babies instead of weapons.

Immediately, I flapped my shirt down and twitched my lips into a lopsided grin, watching her face lose all its colors. I didn't like threatening helpless old women, but sometimes I got tired of protocols and people who adhered to them.

I stood up straight, my massive physique making me look more intimidating. I saw her body tremble vigorously, and I knew she understood the message I was trying to convey.

"Well...well...she was here yesterday with her baby, but she is not here now," she stammered, her voice latched with fear.

I gritted my teeth, my eyes shooting daggers at her. "Lady, you wouldn't dare to lie to me, will you?" I said through clenched teeth.

"No...no...I'm not lying. She left this morning with her baby. And a man. A filthy looking man with beards draping down his jaws. I'm telling the truth, sir," she replied almost quickly, with a slight crescendo of fear.

"A man?" I frowned. I didn't think a man would be involved in this.

"Yes. But I don't know where they are now. I have no idea where they went to. I'm telling the truth, sir," she said, almost pleading with me.

"Okay, okay. I've heard you," I cut her off, already walking out. I hissed inwardly upon hearing that she was with a man. After running away from her husband only to lodge in a motel with her supposed lover and run away with him.

She's a thief," I muttered under my breath. "For taking away the child from his loving father. A lunatic. For having the guts to run away from her matrimonial home. And also a cheat. For having eloped with a man."

Fuck. My anger and disgust for her doubled. She wasn't even shameless to run off with a man. Not considering the fact that her dear husband would be searching frantically for her.

The thought tugged on my nerves, making me more determined to catch her and take her back. People like her are the lowest kind of scum.

It tugged on my chest, how her poor husband would probably be swimming in anger, frustration and depression. Waking up one morning and finding out that his wife whom he loved so much had run away with their only child.

I moved away from the entrance and strode forward, my purpose solidified. For the sake of that innocent child, I've taken this mission personal.

"And I'll find her," I vowed.

. UNFORTUNATELY.... CAUGHT

A week later...

LUDALE MCCULLY

Ludale paced back and forth in his expansive sitting room, his impatience growing as he waited for the bounty hunter's call regarding his runaway wife. He missed her terribly, which surprised him. Who would have thought that he could miss her so much? He longed for her cries, screams, and pleads. Hell, he even missed her body terribly. The way he plunged into her with reckless abandon always gave him the highest satisfaction that he needed. Jasamina never disappointed him with that pained scream that always rang out from her, like a special melody made just for him. She gave him satisfaction that all the other women he had encountered failed to give him.
