I wake up with the kids of my kids and look at the clock to see it’s 7:00 am in the morning. I walk to my kid’s crib and feed them one by one. After that I walk to my suitcase and take out my dress, matching high heels shoes and all the Jewelry that I was going to wear today at my wedding.
I walk into the washroom did my business and shave my legs, underarms, arms and private place. After that, I walk to the shower to arrange the temperature of the water and wash my hair and my body. I dry myself with a towel, wrap a towel around my hair and get out of the washroom wearing a robe to see Ankho still sleeping. I was about to wake her up when the sound of a knock stop me.
I go there and open the door to see two servants standing in front of my door.
“Good morning my lady, we are here to take the kids with us to get them ready for the wedding ceremony and look after them.” one of them said bowing in front of them.
“Good morning, Who will be there with you guys looking after the kids?” I ask them for opening the door wide for them to enter.
“Mrs. Linden, and Alisha ma’am,” another servant said to me. I saw three servants who have come with us to look after kids take my children in their arms and three workers working in their resort move the crib of kids to the garden where the wedding ceremony is going to happen.
“Is breakfast arranged ready to serve yet at the dining hall?”
“Yes ma’am breakfast is ready and people have already started to come,” the first servant said who is holding the Sofia.
“Good, can you tell someone from my family to send my breakfast to my room,” I said.
“Yes ma’am,” she said.
“Anything more ma’am,” she asks and I shake my head in denial. And they walk out of the room.
*Thank god Sofia fall asleep after eating otherwise it would be difficult for them to Handel her and make her stop crying* I thought while closing the door.
“Ankho, wake up, wake up Ankho,” I said shaking her lightly.
“Five more minutes Erika,” she said snuggling more in the cover and I just shake my head. Then a light bulb lit up in my head.
“Wake up, wake up Ankho Avis is here to take you for a date,” I said going closer to her ear and she gets up awake and starts getting ready as fast as possible while murmuring something. I can’t control it anymore and burst out laughing.
“What?” she asks getting annoyed.
“I c-can’t b-believe you f-fall for that” I managed to say between my fist of the laugh. Her mouth hangs open making the brush fall to the ground from her mouth. This makes me laugh harder. God this was a sight to see. I take my mobile from charging and take a photo of her. This thing manages to take her out of her daze.
“Y-you,” she said and lounged after me. I start running at normal human speed but a little faster than her around the room still laughing like a maniac without breaking a sweat and having her on my tail. She stops running and starts panting keeping a hand on her knees.
“Men, you run faster,” she said breathing hard.
“One of the perks of being a vampire or should I say for being the queen of all creature,” I said smirking to which she just shakes her head at me.
“You should get ready for breakfast in the dining room otherwise you will miss it. ” I said.
“It’s ready already?” she asks.
“Of course, it’s ready already,” I said to her in a duh tone. She nodded her head and walk to the washroom to get ready for breakfast and I chuckled at her. After a few minutes, a servant comes with my breakfast and said that the makeup and hair artist will be here in half an hour with some servant to help me get ready.
Right after half an hour a makeup artist and artist come into my room with three servants. First, the makeup artist makes my eyebrow, do a face servant helped me wear the wedding dress in the washroom. After that, a makeup artist does my make up which consists of eyeliner, light golden color eyebrows, light pink color lips stick, and lots of foundation. the hair artist arranged my hair in a beautiful sparkled bun and left some stand of my hair in curls.
“You look gorgeous my lady. We should leave now”
I walk towards the full mirror and look at myself in the mirror. I am looking so beautiful that at first, I can’t recognize myself. I feel someone’s presence behind me and I turn to see my mother-in-law standing behind me with an award-winning smile on her face.
“Oh, Erika you look so beautiful. My son is so lucky to have you as his bride and wife - beautiful, smart, and kindhearted. We are very happy that you are his bride. You are everything that we ask in our daughter-in-law.” She said to me and hug me.
“Thank you mom, you are also looking gorgeous. This dress suits you.” I said hugging her back.
“Thank you, dear,” she said and call someone. One of the servants comes with the veil in the tray. I look at her puzzled.
“It is the tradition of our family that the soon-to-be daughter-in-law wear the veil given by her mother-in-law in the wedding ceremony. This veil has been passed by my mother-in-law at my wedding which was passed by her mother-in-law at her wedding and so on. Now it’s your turn to wear this veil at your wedding. ” she said and adjust the veil in my hand. She lifts the veil from my face and kissed my forehead.
