Last night in the hotel room was blissfully spent with different rounds of wine and orgasms.
Orla rolled on the bed, struggling to stretch her now weak arms. She was fatigued from last night's several hours of intercourse.
Callan had taken her to every corner of the room. From the window side to the bed, the wall, and every other place he could press her tiny frame on. It was wild, one of the best nights of her life.
Orla didn't complain, she loved every second of him drilling her tiny hole. Yawning out loudly, she suddenly remembered that Callan didn't use protection when he was fucking her.
They were so engrossed with satisfying their lustful appetite that thoughts of protecting themselves didn't occur to either of them.
Callan came three times. She came more than five times and he spilled his fluid inside of her. She remembered clearly that he did, but she couldn't bring herself to stop him when that was the best part.
She jumped out of bed, panic shooting through her skin. She wasn't ready to mother a child now, she needed to do something before the sperm sprouted into an embryo.
"Callan!" She called out when she didn't find him anywhere in the room. But there was no response. She checked the tiny room that was adjoined to the bedroom, but there were no traces of him.
Her panic intensified as she hurriedly snatched her phone from the vanity table. She was about to place a call to Callan when her eyes caught a piece of paper close to his bedside. She picked it up, desperately scanning through the content of the note.
"Baby girl. I got an important call. Stay right here, I will be back for you." She stood still, ruffling the sheet in her hand.
She didn't know whether she should be mad at him for leaving her or just let it go. She stayed in the same position for minutes before flopping on the bed, back to thoughts of how to get rid of the fluid Callan had spilt in her system.
She remembered the morning-after pills she once read about, a drug that prevented pregnancy from occurring. She contemplated getting the drugs or just letting things happen naturally, but her mind was troubled.
She trusted that Callan would stay with her all through her pregnancy period, and would even be a good father to their child, but she wasn't mentally prepared to mother a child. She was still healing, she needed to completely heal before mothering a little human.
Getting the pills was the best decision right now. So she rose to her feet and ambled into the bathroom to have a quick bath.
Two Months Later.
A little blonde ran around with her mother in the park. She giggled, hiding at every opportunity she got, but she wasn't always successful because her mother always got her.
"She's not good at the game." Orla admired the blonde little girl.
Her innocuous giggles reminded her of the days she used to visit the park with her twin sister and their Mom.
"I have no idea how it's been played." Callan snorted, clearly uninterested in the mother-daughter shenanigans.
Orla made him do crazy things, like visiting the park on a Sunday evening. This wasn't something he would do, but because Orla wanted to reminisce about her childhood, and he had promised to always be with her; he just had to be there with her and for her.
"It's hide and seek. Do you want a rollercoaster ride?" Orla offered.
"No." He quickly chirped in.
He was an old guy, riding on a rollercoaster wouldn't be fun to him.
"But why?" She pouted, blinking her wet eyes. "You promised to do everything that I want." Slapping her arms across her chest, she looked away from Callan. He wasn't keeping to his promises.
"And that's what I am doing, Orla." He tried to be calm.
"No. Would you not ride with your baby if you had one?" She shot him a side glance.
"I would when the time comes." A tired sigh left his mouth. He truly was tired.
"The time is now, Callan. I am your baby, aren't I?"
She got off the bench and stood straight. Waggling her fingers in front of him, she demanded an answer. "Am I not your baby?"
"Oh yes, you are." He grabbed her fingers, dragging her to sit on his lap. "You are my baby, Orla."
His voice was dominant and low, causing her body to still when she landed on his legs. His eyes burned into her, setting her whole being on fresh mild fire.
She didn't abate his gaze, she stared longer, searching for that thing that subjected her heart to uncontrollable beats whenever they made eye contact, but too bad, she didn't find it.
In the dearth of words from both of them, Callan's mind drifted to the discussion he had always wanted to have with his wife about her nightmares. He adjusted so she could properly rest on his legs, but Orla took that moment to sit next to him, on the bench.
She could feel the middle of her legs dampen when she sat on Callan's lap earlier.
Callan shrugged lightly if that was what pleased her to do.
"Are your dreams still recurring?"
Orla was lost for a second. After careful thinking. she grasped what he meant and responded. "You mean my nightmares?"
Callan nodded.
"Not anymore. You are always there with me. The nightmares stopped because I have you by my side." He saw the genuity of the smile that brightened her pretty face.
"I am glad." He said in a low voice.
"I am too. I will need you more and more, you know?" She took his hand and fiddled around with his long fingers. "I will be safe when I am around you." She drawled.
He looked down at her hair and smiled. "I feel safer when you are around me, Orla." He pulled her closer, stroking her hair as they watched the tourists exploring the park.
They've been going to different places that Orla didn't get the chance to visit while she was young.
After her birthday, Callan asked her to write a bucket list of the things she wanted to do before she squarely faced the architecture career which he was planning for her.
Orla had written a lot of things, and places to visit and this central park was one of the things, the last on her bucket list of places to visit. A roller coaster ride in a central park, but Callan wasn't certain that he wanted to ride with her.
"Isn't it time for you to ride?" He asked when she placed her head on his chest.
"No. I don't want to ride anymore."
"Why? You shouldn't miss this chance. This is the last thing on the bucket list that you've written."
"Hmm. I want something else." She bent her head, moving her hand down to Callan's shorts.
"What?" He smirked when he felt her hand on his bulge between his legs.
She had gone past the stage of being too shy to ask him for sex. He knew what she wanted now that her hand lingered on the bulge.
Dusk was approaching, but there were street lights everywhere and people could still see them.
Though Orla was silent, Callan got what she silently asked for. Too bad he couldn't refuse her, their hearts were so connected that he always wanted to please her whenever she asked for it. He wanted her the same way and at the same time she wanted him.
"Come with me to the car, it's outside the park." Callan moved away from her, heading towards where he had parked the car outside.
