Chapter39: Let's Go

Ch. 39 / 62 Apr 02, 2026

Mia sat down at her desk and rubbed her wrists, trying to keep her mind off of what had just gone on behind the closed door of Sam's secret room. The cuffs he'd used had been padded with fur, so they hadn't hurt, but the sensation of being chained wouldn't go away. She'd enjoyed it far more than she ever would've imagined.

Sitting on top of him, bouncing up and down, using her own body weight to create friction and bring herself to a pleasure point she'd never experienced before. The last time she'd been with Sam, she'd marveled at the way he took control and commanded her every move. This time, she'd had more freedom, even though she'd been cuffed. His hands on her hips had guided her, but she'd had the power to move up and down as quickly as she wanted to and situate herself however she pleased.

Mia sat at her desk and pondered what to do with the rest of her day. She'd already ordered Sam's lunch and would need to deliver that shortly, but other than that, she had nothing else to do but sit and think about how amazing Sam had made her feel and wonder when she might be able to find her way back into that secret room again.

Her phone vibrated on the table in front of her, and she saw it was a text from Beau. A sigh escaped her lips, not because she wasn't happy to hear from him, but she was angry at herself for not even having given him a second thought since she had entered Sam's office. She genuinely cared about Beau, yet he escaped her thoughts so easily whenever his brother needed her. Would that always be the case?

"Do you have plans tonight?" Beau wanted to know.

Mia thought about how lonely she'd felt the night before, lying there in bed, wishing she'd taken Beau up on his offer to have her sleep with him. "No," she said, even though she would prefer not to have sex with both brothers on the same day if she could help it. It seemed pretty obvious now that she wasn't capable of following that self-inflicted rule. She stared at the three dots on her phone that told her Beau was typing back.

A few seconds later, he asked, "Do you want to go to the opera with me tonight? I think you'll like this show. It's a romance. Tristan and Isolde. My mother bought the tickets weeks ago and can't use them, so she's given them to me."

Mia had seen a move about Tristan and Isolde when she was younger and had liked it-except for the ending. She wondered if the opera would end the same way. "I'd love to go," she said. "I just don't know what I would wear."

"I'll handle all of that, I promise," he said, bringing a smile to her face. "I'll make sure my driver has the perfect gown and outfit with him when he comes to pick me up. We'll get you ready, take you to dinner, and then we'll have a lovely time at the opera. After that... it would be great if you'd plan to come back to my place. I sure missed you last night."

A smile came to Mia's lips, despite the fact that she'd just had unbelievable sex with his older brother. "That sounds amazing," she typed back, no longer worried about her vow not to be with both of them in the same day.

"Great. I'll see you after work."

Mia sent back a heart-eye emoji and then checked the time. She'd have to go get Sam's lunch in just a minute. The idea of walking back into his office had her head swimming. The longer she spent in this situation, oscillating from one man to the other, the more confused she became. How could she continue to develop a loving relationship with Beau when she was fucking his brother? Especially when she spent the majority of her days sitting in an office a few feet from Sam, thinking about fucking him?

It wasn't like she could quit. Even if she let Beau pay off the debt she owed Sam, even if she waited until she'd earned enough to pay him back, she needed a job. Letting her "boyfriend" find her a job or going to work for Beau didn't seem like something a responsible, hardworking woman did either.

Besides, she couldn't deny that she enjoyed her job. Was she a glorified prostitute-getting paid to have sex? She didn't see it that way. She was a secretary who did her best to keep her boss happy. Perhaps that was ridiculous and she was nothing more than a streetwalker who sat at a desk. Maybe it was more like an escort who only had one client....

Mia dropped her head into her hands and let out a deep sigh. Something was going to have to change; she couldn't continue to live this way... could she?

The receptionist buzzed through the phone, letting her know Sam's lunch was there. She got up to go and retrieve it before she stopped to think, hoping she could just take it in and set it up without letting her eyes wander over his body, without wanting him to take her back to that room he'd had her in before, but a slight quiver in her lip and a tightening deep in her belly let her know that she was hopeful he'd delay eating his lunch to take her one more time.
