Chapter61: Salvation

Ch. 61 / 62 Apr 02, 2026

Mia's entire body was vibrating, her head fuzzy, and she didn't know how much more she could take from Sam's contraption when she heard the door opening. Her eyes were slitted as she looked up, assuming it was him, coming to do more to her. In a way, she would welcome the human contact, even if she didn't think she could handle anyone touching her most sensitive parts now. They were swollen and so sensitive, she wasn't even sure she could manage to sit quietly behind her desk, given the opportunity to do so.

Sam was moving quickly as he turned the machine off, causing the vibrations streaming down the wires attached to her nipples and nub to stop. He removed the giant dildo from inside of her as well. Mia's body continued to feel as if she were being assaulted. She lay back on the netting, trying to still herself and draw a deep breath into her lungs.

The voice she heard wasn't Sam's though, and when she realized there were two men in the room, and the other one was Beau, she immediately tensed up. Sam would be so angry that his brother had invaded his personal space.

It wasn't Sam who sounded angry, though. As he went about untying her, she felt a second set of hands on her. Beau was standing at her head now. "You sick bastard," he was saying to Sam. "What the hell...."

"No one invited you in here," Sam said, his voice implying he was on the verge of losing his cool himself. "Just get her, and get out."

Mia soon found herself free. She looked up into Beau's familiar eyes, unable to speak, and listened to the sound of Sam's footsteps storming out of the room. For a moment, she thought perhaps he would lock her and Beau in his secret playroom, but he didn't. The door to the secret space was still open when she heard the office door slam closed.

"Are you all right, Mia?" Beau asked, his finger gently lifting her chin. "My God.... That asshole." He shook his head, which made her slightly dizzy in her stupor. Mia still couldn't say anything, but she managed to nod her head.

Beau lifted her to her feet. Where her clothing came from, she wasn't exactly sure. He must've brought it into the room when he came in. He went about getting her dressed. By the time he was finished, she was beginning to come back around. Beau wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to his chest.

Inhaling his familiar scent, Mia slid her arms around his neck and leaned against him. She felt safe; she felt whole. Standing there with this wonderful man, there was no doubt in her mind he was all she ever needed.

"How did you manage to get him to set me free?" she whispered, once she'd regained her faculties enough to speak.

Beau was still angry. She could tell by the way he was biting his bottom lip and how he shook his head when he spoke. "Sam has other secrets, ones he wouldn't want getting out. When I couldn't find you, I figured he must have you in here. I had no idea...." His voice trailed off, as if he couldn't even complete the sentence. "Do you need a doctor? Do you want me to call the police?"

"No, I'm fine," Mia assured him quickly. "He wasn't doing anything I hadn't signed up for."

"Mia, don't you think this goes beyond excessive?" he asked, gesturing at the get up. As he looked around the room, it was apparent he was growing angrier and angrier. "Did he...."

"He only brought me in here a couple of times," she told him. She glanced around quickly. Sam hadn't used most of these contraptions on her. "It doesn't matter now, Beau. I gave Sam my letter of recognition, and he refused to accept it, but I can't work here, not anymore."

"No, today is your last day," Beau said, taking her gently by the arms so that he could look into her eyes. "You attempted to do the right thing and give him your notice. Instead, he showed you his true colors and exposed the monster he truly is."

Mia took a deep breath. Beau was right. She should've never gotten involved with Sam in the first place. She shouldn't have signed the contract. Instead, she should've began looking for a different job the moment she realized what her duties would entail. While it was true that Sam unleashed a side of her she'd never experienced before, a part of her she never knew she would've liked, she should've realized she was playing with fire and gotten away from Sam before she became ensnarled. If it hadn't been for Beau, she would've ended up like one of those other girls, like Shaylee-or worse.

"Beau," Mia began, looking into his eyes, "thank you for coming after me. Thank you for not giving up on me, even when I didn't realize I'd gotten myself in over my head."

When he replied, his eyes had tears in them. "I love you, Mia. I would do anything for you."

It was evident in his expression that he meant every word of what he'd said. "I love you, too," Mia said, smiling up at him.

Beau's expression softened as his warm lips came down to find hers. Mia placed her hand on the back of his neck and pulled him closer, so thankful to have found such a wonderful man. She knew she'd be with Beau for as long as he would have her, that she wasn't addicted to him the way she had been to Sam, but that their relationship was so much more.

Beau pulled back, his thumb caressing her cheek. "I think we should take the rest of the day off," he said. "Let's go home. I'll hold you and kiss you softly. None of that... rough stuff today. I just want to remind you of how beautiful, how perfect you are, Mia."

"That sounds like the best idea I've heard in a really long time," Mia agreed with a smile.

Beau brushed her hair back over her shoulder and kissed her again, and Mia knew she'd made the best decision of her life, choosing Mr. Whitaker, the younger. She would never have to submit to Sam Whitaker again, and in Beau, she'd find everything she could possibly need.
