Keeping her hands off of Beau on the way home was difficult, but Mia managed to stay content just holding his hand until they pulled up in front of his mansion. He left the car sitting outside in the circle drive and rushed around to open the door for her. It seemed as if he was doing his best to stay calm, but he was clearly in just as much a hurry as she was.
Beau led her upstairs, but not to his bedroom. Instead, he took her further down the hall and paused outside of another bedroom door. Mia raised an eyebrow as he placed his hand on the doorknob and turned to look at her.
"I didn't try to create a space like his. But I thought it might be best if this place was separate from my bedroom."
Mia nodded in understanding, noting he didn't seem capable of saying Sam's name at the moment. Keeping this place of exploration separate from where they made love, where he held her in his arms, where he'd first said he loved her, made sense to her. Slowly, Beau opened the door.
The room was illuminated from soft lamps on either side of the bed and a small crack in the curtains, but she could see well enough. There was a large bed and the normal dressers one might expect to see in a guest bedroom, so it was clear he hadn't redone the room completely, but the additions to the room certainly made it a place you wouldn't ask your grandmother to stay when she was visiting for the weekend.
The bedspread was crimson with gold accents, and the rest of the fabrics in the room matched it perfectly, including the curtains and the velvet cushion of the armless chair sitting in front of the window. One aspect of the bed certainly stood out to her; there were handcuffs and ankle cuffs attached to the bedframe. Mia could see they were the kind with velvet padding, which she appreciated. On the night stand, a long silky black blindfold lay, waiting to cut off her vision and heighten the rest of her senses.
Across the room, there was a desk that looked out of place, as if it had just been moved there so she could be bent over it. Not a single item sat atop the wooden surface. She imagined Beau leaning her over that desk, the way Sam took her on his, and her mouth began to water. She licked her lips. Perhaps Beau knew what he was doing after all.
Chains hung from the ceiling as well, with the same velvety cuffs at the end as were on the bed, and in the corner was some sort of swing she had never seen before. She had no idea how that would work and wondered if Beau knew. Perhaps he had watched a video or two....
"Well?" he asked, resting his hand on the small of her back. "Will this do?"
It was difficult for her to pull her eyes off of the swing, images of what might transpire there filling her mind, but she turned to look at him. "I think so. I'm certainly willing to give it a go."
A small grin spread across his handsome face. "Good. Does that mean I'm supposed to start ordering you around and being rough with you now?"
Mia placed her hand on his chest. "It's not rough, not exactly. I mean... the sex is. The attitude is just... commanding."
"I guess that's why they call those guys Doms."
She nodded, though she hadn't really ever considered that Sam was a Dom. He was, though, wasn't he? Could Beau pull that off. She was about to find out.
He looked back at the door. For a moment, she thought he was just double checking it was closed, but then she wondered if maybe he was getting ready to rush out of the room. When he turned back to her, there was a look in his eyes she couldn't ever remember having seen before. He took a step back away from her, and in a husky voice that sounded similar to his brother's, he said, "Take your dress off. Now."
Mia bit down on her bottom lip. Maybe he could pull this off. With her eyes glued to his face, she reached around and grabbed the zipper on the back of her gown and tugged it down, slowly sliding the sleeves off of her arms, letting the dress fall to the floor and pool at her ankles.
Beau took her in, his eyes studying every crevice of her flesh as they traveled down her body, to her black heels, and then back up again. Normally, he would complement her, tell her how beautiful she was, a large smile filling his face. His expression didn't change one bit.
Instead, he went to the night stand and picked up the blindfold, handing it to her. "Put this on."
Again, she did exactly as she was told, noting that her heart was beginning to race. Perspiration dotted her upper lip, even though the room was cool. She hastily tied the blindfold into place, making sure she couldn't see anything.
"Take off your shoes."
With the blindfold on, it was easy for Mia to convince herself it was actually Sam in the room and not Beau. How healthy that mentality was, she wasn't sure, but when she slid her feet out of her heels, she imagined she was in Sam's office, that it was him commanding her. An ache began in her groin, radiating up to her abdomen. She wanted him so badly, she wasn't sure how long she could wait.
But he would make her wait-she knew it. Just as Sam always did. She stood there in her damp silk black panties and matching lacy bra, waiting for Mr. Whitaker to tell her what to do, waiting for him to command her body, and take her to places she'd never been before.
