CHAPTER 139: Birth Control

Ch. 139 / 238 Apr 07, 2026

Lisa's P.O. V.

I racked my brain for a good 20 minutes, trying to recall if I had taken my birth control every day this week. I began to worry as I clearly remember having one extra pill in my pack than I should at this time. My mind began to race with worry. I guess now's a good a time as any to ask Davis about future children.

"Hey, my Viking man, quick question," I called to him from the bathroom.

This was the first time since he arrived home that he had not been inside me. I felt so sore, but I didn't mind, wanting him back as soon as possible.

"Yes?" He sounded amused as he answered. I could just picture the smirk on his face. "Do you want more kids?"

Silence, complete and utter silence.

I found him standing by the door as I opened it. He had a large grin on his face, grabbing me and throwing me over his shoulder. I yelled in surprise, but did not fight or complain. He threw me down on the bed, sliding into me again with a quick thrust. The rapidness in which he humped me made my breast bounce all around. I moaned as my pleasure leaked out of me more and more, wetting the inside of my thighs.

"I'll get you pregnant right now, Lisa. If you want me to. I'd love nothing more than to have kids with you," he grunted, locking eyes with me as he spoke.

My heart felt calm at the assurance of his words. He wouldn't mind having a kid with me, and that was all I needed to hear to make me fully accept us. My good decision making skills were thrown out the window as I spoke my next words.

"Then get me pregnant, my Viking."

Oh, the look he gave me.

It set my body on fire. There was such love, such lust, such a hunger in them, it was as if I had told him I promised him my life. I guess in a way I just did as a kid would tie us together for all eternity.

The amount of sex we had for the rest of the day seemed almost unrealistic. I didn't understand where this stamina came from in either of us, but even when it was all said and done, I still wanted more. The area between my legs felt like it wanted to run away screaming. I was sore, so damn sore, but I had the happiest of smiles on my face. I was so full of Davis' cum that it seeped out of me all the next day, a reminder of what we had done. I stopped worrying about my birth control after that. In fact, I tossed it in the trash. It's rushed and probably extremely stupid on my part, but somehow I knew having a kid with Davis would be the best decision I could make in my life, even if he and I didn't work out in the end.

______________________

It has been a week now since I found dad's ledger and Davis sent the pictures to Derek. I kept a close watch on dad, to see if he was doing anything suspicious, and aside from having meetings with the Darnell's almost every day, he wasn't up to much. I was curious what dad was telling them that was keeping them from taking half to the company. I was just glad that I haven't had to see Chris or his father since the last time I was at his house.

Lucas: We need to talk. I'm heading to you now.

His text caught me off guard. I have been slacking on my auntie/sister skills here lately, not having gone to visit them as often as before. Still, Lucas would have teased me about it, not sent such a worrisome text. I looked up at Davis, feeling nervous again.

"What's wrong?" He pinched his eyebrows together, having them meet in the center.

"Lucas said he's on his way, that we need to talk."

"Do you think he knows what we're up to?" Davis' eyes widened with concern, making me smile in amusement. I think it was the first time I had seen him nervous before.

"No, how could he?"

"I should probably talk to him about it. He may be your younger brother, but I feel he's your gate keeper."

"Yeah, he's pretty protective, isn't he?' I laughed, feeling thankful for a brother like him. "What do you think he wants to talk about then?"

"I don't know, but it can't be good. It's either about dad or maybe Liv. I am not sure."

If possible, at the mention of Liv's name Davis seemed more concerned. He pressed his thumb into his chin as he held it in thought. He was handsome when he was worried too. I don't think there's a face he could make that would make him appear any less handsome.

"Is he coming now?"

"Yeah."

"Then we should probably get dressed."

Davis kissed my neck as he slid out of me. There was such a pain between my legs that I wondered if I'd just let David ruin me for the rest of my life. I walked rather funny as I went to the bathroom to shower. When I hopped out I felt a bit better, but it still hurt. Can't really say I didn't see it coming, hard not to be sore when you've had a dick in you for a day with little breaks.

"If possible I'd bend you over against the counter and take you from behind again. You're too damn sexy, Lisa." Davis shook his head a she spoke as if it were a tragedy that he found me so appealing. I smirked feeling my stomach pool with desire at his words.

"If I wasn't so sore I'd take you up on that offer instantly."

It didn't take long, after we went downstairs, to hear Lucas knock on our door. I opened it, finding his eyes pink. Something was definitely very very wrong.

"What is it?" I asked him instantly. "Why have you been crying?"

"It's Liv," his voice cracked as he spoke and his eyes watered at the mear mention of her name.

"You're freaking me out. What's wrong with Liv?"

Davis was instantly at my side as he heard her name. He seemed tense with a face full of worry. I pulled Lucas inside and guided him to the couch, making him sit so he wouldn't collapse on the ground.

"She went to her screening a month ago. She told me everything was fine and that they hadn't found anything. I answered her phone today because she forgot it when she went to work this morning and it was her doctor. She said she had the biopsy results and wants Liv to come in. I wouldn't let her off the phone until she told me the results."

I swallowed, feeling my heart race unnaturally as I waited to hear the god awful news I knew was coming.

"She has cancer," he said with a heavy sob. He began to cry so hard that I fell to my knees before him and held him tight. I cried alongside him, worried for him and for Liv.

"It's not a death sentence. She's been going to her screenings on time. She can fight this. It's Liv," I heard Davis reassure Lucas with his large hand over his shoulder.

"He's right. We don't know how bad it is or if it's spread. We're here for you guys, whatever you need." Lucas nodded his head, sniffling as he tried to stop his crying.

"Where's Abi?" I asked, realizing he didn't have her with him.

"With Hailey. I went to her first as Liv's best friend I felt she should know. She took Abi from me, saying I'm too much of an emotional mess to care for her probably at the moment. That's when I came here, because I need you, Lisa. Leo is gone to see Rachel and you're the only other person I can to turn to."

"I've got you, Lucas. Whatever you need."

There's no way in hell Liv is going to die on us.
