Lisa's P.O. V.
My face hit the cold hard wood of the table with tremendous force as my ankle was grabbed, pulling my legs out from under me. I felt the blood gush out of my nose and the familiar taste of metal fill my mouth from the bite I know sported on my lip. I turned with a groan, kicking at the hand that gripped my ankle, until my other leg was grabbed as well. I wiggled as hard as I could, sitting up and trying to punch them. My mind was in a panic, forgetting everything I had been taught. I couldn't reach them from my sitting position, missing them with each punch, only further exhausting myself.
"Let me go!" I yelled.
"Chris, get the door, before your brother comes back in," Daniel ordered him, sounding angry that I had yelled.
Chris let go of my ankle, but not until Daniel had a hold of it. They were smart, almost as if they'd done this before.
Was this their sick way of bonding?
Chris locked the door, and for good measure he tied his belt around the door knobs, keeping them closed shut. He turned to face me, looking so pleased with himself. He seemed almost excited as he approached me. The color left my face as my fate was ultimately sealed. I had only myself to blame. I took it too far, played it unsafe. Now here I lay at the mercy of the two most vile men I know.
And I thought Dad was bad.
"Lisa, Lisa, Lisa," Chris tutted as he came towards me.
When he was close enough I pulled back to punch him, landing one right on his cheek. He stumbled back for a second, placing his hand over the spot. His eyes narrowed and his face contorted with pure rage. He went to punch me, but Izzy's training seemed to finally surface to my brain, allowing me to dodge it. Daniel watched as he kept his hands on my legs, preventing me from escaping. Although the belt on the doorknob is enough to slow me down even if I do manage to get away from his grip.
"Don't be such a bitch, Lisa. Just apologize," Chris said, stopping his attempts to punch me.
For a very brief moment I thought maybe Chris didn't want to go through with this. Maybe he was telling me to apologize because it would mean this wouldn't happen. At this point, I don't think Daniel is going to turn back. I was wrong as my eyes met the growing bulge in Chris' trousers. He was getting turned on by this.
"Like I'd ever apologize to either of you."
"Have it your way then."
Chris went back to trying to hurt me just like that. Daniel helped him, by pulling on my legs, causing me to fall back on the table. I rolled to my side as best I could, letting my leg lift off the table for just a brief moment. Daniel quickly pinned it back down. My head tapped on the plate before me, giving me a brilliant idea. Grabbing the smooth ceramic plate, I threw it right at Daniel's face. He let go of my legs instinctively as he went to block his face. I used that moment to roll off the table and fall onto the floor. I stood up and took my stance with my fist raised to my face.
I won't go down without a fight.
The walls vibrated with a loud noise, drawing all of our attention. It sounded as if large had been dropped on the ground.
"Lisa!" Davis' voice reached my ears.
"I'm in here!" I yelled back.
There were so many emotions running through me, knowing he was just on the other side of the door. I felt ashamed for being so stupid and letting this happen. Relieved that he was here to save me. Mostly, I felt like a failure and unworthy of the man that stood behind that door. I know he's going to be mad at me for getting myself into this situation. Davis tried to open the door, realizing he couldn't he began to bang on it.
The banging only intensified as I realized he must be ramming into the door. trying to break it down. The doors craned and waned as they began to give way to his strength. None of this seemed to affect Daniel as he didn't slow in his advances. He really thought that I was weak, but I'll show him. When he reached for me I pushed his arm, jabbing at his diaphragm. He winced but didn't fall over the way he did with Izzy. I spun around him the way Liv does in the ring, but that was a stupid idea. I'm not Liv, and I'm not used to that. All I managed to do was make myself a little dizzy, but I did avoid his punch at least.
"Hold on, Lisa, I'm coming!" Davis yelled, obviously trying to keep me motivated.
The doors fell to the ground with a loud thud that echoed all around the room. His eyes landed on me before they murderously looked at Daniel and then Chris, who had apparently
been making his way towards me from behind. It seemed he was going to attack from behind like the coward he is.
"You dared to attack her? To touch what is mine?" Davis' voice boomed with confidence. "I won't let you off easy. You'll be lucky to survive."
He was being assertive, and unwavering as he threatened Daniel and Chris. He left no doubt in anyone's mind that he intended to go through with his threat. When he grabbed the knife off the table, my heart seized. Yes, Daniel and Chris deserve to have their asses handed to them, but the thought of Davis turning into a murder for me did not sit well with me.
"Davis, no," I managed to form the words, but it was too late.
Davis hopped over the table and immediately began to attack Daniel as Jared had started to fight with Chris. I am not sure when Jared snuck up on him, but he managed to sucker punch Chris right in the nose. Daniel fended off the knife, but Davis was ambidextrous. He punched with the same force no matter which arm he used. His fist landed deep in Daniel's side, making him grunt in pain.
Daniel was relentless. This was a side to him I had yet to see. It was dark and gruesome with bloodlust clear in his eyes. He really did want to kill Daniel. The scene striked fear in me. I think this was the first time I had ever been scared of Davis. I knew he'd never hurt me, but the Davis before me seemed like a completely different man.
It was stupid, but I stepped forward. I don't want Davis to kill Daniel. There would be no going back after that. He'd go to jail, and ruin his life because of me. I can't let that happen. I reached out grabbing the wrist of the hand that held the knife. His other hand was grabbing Daniel by the collar and lifting him off the ground a few inches. Sometimes I forget just how strong Davis is. His eyes met mine as he noticed me grabbing him. There was a hurt as he gazed at me, probably wondering why I'm stopping him.
"You can't kill him Davis. I don't want you to become a murderer because of me. Please, just take me home, Davis. Please."
He stared at me for the longest time, as if I were the only person in this room. After what felt like an eternity he signed and nodded his head, dropping the knife.
"I won't kill him, Lisa, but I will seriously hurt him. I understand if you don't want to see this. Wait for me outside."
With that he turned his attention right back to Daniel who he now threw back, causing him to hit the corner of the fireplace mantle. Daniel groaned in pain on the floor as Davis marched towards him again. He was like death slowly approaching its victim. The body shoved
into my side distracted me from watching Davis any longer. Jared had been pushed into me by Chris, seeming to be losing the fight between the siblings.
I guess today is the day I beat the crap out of Chris.
