Saved By A Dark Billionaire

CHAPTER 132: My daughter

Ch. 132 / 238 Apr 07, 2026

Davis, P.O. V.

It took a couple of days, but I was finally released from the hospital. Lisa had received a dozen phone calls from her dad, Chris and even that son of a bitch Daniel. I swear I'll castrate him as soon as my leg is all healed up. He's got a few months to use that pecker before it's gone. He better enjoy them.

They each left voicemails that I did not let her listen to. No, I listened to them instead. Chris was spewing threats along with her dad while Daniel professed he did nothing wrong and that she was just denying her inner desires. Each message twisted my stomach and fueled my anger further.

Lucas texted me late last night while Lisa slept on my chest. He told me that his father was on a rampage and had already tried to get Liv fired. I wasn't so sure if we would be able to handle this the legal way any more. I'm not sending Lisa to that house ever again. They can all go fuck themselves, or better yet, each other. They're all sick bastards.

"You ready to make good on your promise?" Lisa asked me as she wheeled me out of the hospital towards her car.

The thought of being home with her and being buried deep inside her, was the only thing keeping me going through my hospital stay. She's everything to me, and it pleased me to know that she enjoyed me just as much as I enjoyed her. My heart swelled when Lisa chose to disobey her father so openly and ride with me to the hospital. My memories are a bit fuzzy, but I can remember that clearly.

She drove us to my house, our house really, as I refused to let her out of my sight. She's not going back to that apartment, and certainly not to Chris' place either. As we approached the house I saw Izzy's 1969 cherry red mustang parked in my driveway.

Oh boy, here we go.

I know this isn't going to be good. Izzy is a spitball of fire. She's stubborn and opinionated with little regard for my feelings or that of others. She says it like it is. I am glad that she's confident enough to do so, to be herself despite what others think. I just wish she could be a bit nicer. Can't blame her though, I failed her as a parent.

"Who's car is that?" Lisa asked as she drove past it into the garage.

"Izzy's" I sighed, already feeling the headache coming on.

"Oh, um, what do you want to do? Do you want me to go so you two can talk? I don't know what you want to tell her about me, but I'm okay with disappearing for a few hours if you need me to."

Lisa was worried, I could see it in her body language. The way she chewed at her cheek and her eyes darted around. She didn't realize it but that was actually a good quality to have when worried. She's observing her surroundings without even realizing it. It could come in handy if you're ever in a bad spot during a fight.

"There's no reason for you to leave, Lisa. This is your home now." I squeezed her hand, assuring her that I would not send her away, not ever.

"Are you sure? I don't want to drive you and your daughter further apart." "You wont. If that happens it's because of me and her, not you."

I know Izzy is going to have a lot of questions, and I'll answer them all as long as she promises to be nice. We'll see how it goes.

Lisa got the crutches out of the car and met me at the passenger side with them. The crutches were uncomfortable under my arms, but I dealt with it. I pushed myself inside with Lisa closely behind. She opened the doors for me though.

"Izzy?" I called her name.

"Shit," I heard her panicked voice. One I know too well.

She's in trouble.

I dropped the crutches instantly, knowing fully well they would hinder me. I hobbled my way to the living room where I had heard her voice come from. The pain radiated up my leg with every step I took, but I could care less. I was on a mission and there was no stopping me. When I entered the living room I saw him lifting his pants. The guy was small, not a challenge at all. I grabbed him, pinning him against the wall with my forearm against his neck.

"Davis!" I heard Lisa yell my name in surprise, but I was too furious to care. This man had his hands on my daughter. My daughter!

"Who are you? Why are you in my house? And what gives you the right to touch my daughter?" I asked him furiously. The kid looked ready to piss himself, but he swallowed down his fear and answered my questions.

"I'm Neal. Izzy invited me over. I guess I have the right because she gave it to me?"

He seemed unsure of how to answer my third, and most important question. I pushed against him harder, having him crack the wall behind him slightly. He squirmed as I hurt him.

"Dad, that's enough!" Izzy yelled at me. "I'm not a little girl anymore. Let him go."

She sounded pissed, but I could care less. She may be 19 but she doesn't need to be fucking around with guys. Especially not little weak men like this that won't be able to protect her should she ever need it.

"Davis, she's right." Lisa surprised me as she sided with my daughter.

I turned to see the two of them standing side by side but 6 feet apart. They both looked at me with their arms crossed. Izzy was furious, but Lisa was concerned. I grunted in frustration, shoving him back once more for good measure before releasing him. He fell to the floor, hurrying to Izzy's side. He lost more points in my book, if that were even possible, as he cowered behind my daughter.

"Izzy, you know the rules," I reminded her.

When she's here there are to be no boys over. If she decides she wants to be with someone I am to meet with them before they start something. I want to make sure they are a good man before they date my daughter. She's all I have left of Grace and I need to keep her safe as my only daughter. I love her, even if she hates me right now.

"Again, I'm not a little girl dad. I'm an adult now, and I don't have to follow your stupid rules."

"Like hell, adult or not, you're still my daughter. You'll follow my rules Izzy, or I'll hunt those boys down myself and meet them the same way I met Neal here. Tell me Neal, was it worth it?"

He 's a coward.

"Don't answer that," Lisa surprisingly directed him. "You're being unreasonable, Davis."

Lisa marched up to me, her eyes locking with mine. She lifted herself on the balls of her feet and whispered into my ear.

"If he answers no, you'll make him hurt your daughter, and for what? To prove a point? That's not how that works. If he answers yes, then you'll be solidifying their relationship. That's not a smart question, my Viking."

Lisa was right, but I hadn't thought of that in my determination to make a point. "So how do I handle it?" I whispered back.

"Neal, why don't you and I go to the kitchen and make some coffee while these two talk." She turned to Neal with a warm smile, gesturing towards the kitchen. "I'll take care of him, you take care of her. Remember to be kind and gentle like you are with me," she whispered before heading out.

Can I be kind and gentle right now?
