"We didn't! Don't you believe me?" Bella asked.
"What is happening here!" Desmond's mom showed up.
"Daniella is saying that we fought her. That we tried to kill her baby."
"Her action called for it, but we can't touch a pregnant woman. Why is she saying that we fought her?" She turned to her. "You want to cause problems between me and my son? Why are you lying?"
"I'm not lying." Daniella spoke up. "You said you will make sure I lose the pregnancy for refusing to give you the car keys. Desmond, you won't believe Bella was punching me on my tummy. If I were not strong, I would have lost the baby. My tummy is still paining me, but I'm enduring it."
"Why are you two so wicked? This is how both of you treated Anabel. I divorced her and accepted your choice. Now you are abusing her. I can't take this anymore." Desmond said in anger.
"Wait.... don't tell me you believed what she said. She's lying against us." Bella said.
"Just as you used to say when Anabel was here. She's always lying. You too made me hate her; I won't let it happen again. I think it's time for both of you to leave my house." Desmond said, and a triumphant smile spread across Daniella's face. She had orchestrated this moment, and it was all she had been waiting for.
"Brother, what are you saying?" Bella asked. She didn't see that coming.
"You heard me. I can't continue to allow both of you to ruin my marriages. Both of you need to leave my house."
Mrs. Elizabeth stepped forward. "Desmond, we would never harm Daniella or your unborn child. What's really going on?"
"I don't believe you. You too need to leave my house. At least let me rest." Desmond said.
"You want to kick your family away. We are the only people you have."
"I'm not chasing you away. I want some space. Go back home. I will be visiting both of you. Let me concentrate with my wife. Her happiness is my priority. I don't want to come back from work and meet a bad scene. Please, both of you should pack your things and leave." Desmond concluded.
"What are both of you waiting for?" Daniella asked. "Don't you hear him? Pack your things and leave us alone."
With reluctant glances, Desmond's mother and sister gathered their belongings and left the house.
As the door closed, Daniella's smile grew wider. She had successfully manipulated Desmond into banishing his family, isolating him from those who truly cared for him.
"Finally," she whispered to herself, "I have him all to myself."
Desmond turned to her, his eyes still blazing with anger. "Are you okay?"
Daniella's smile softened, her eyes filled with fake concern. "I'm fine, baby. Thanks to you. You are no longer a mummy's boy. You are a real man."
Desmond wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "I'll always protect you."
Daniella's heart swelled with satisfaction. She had him right
where she wanted him.
