"Miss. Michelle. Don't take her words and actions to heart. No need to pursue the matter any further. You can let her stay on my behalf." Anabel said, and Miss Michelle hesitated before accepting. "It's alright. She can stay." She turned to Desmond. "Mr. Desmond, you are free to help yourself to the bar. I need to welcome my other special guests." Miss Michelle said and left.
"Come, let's go." Desmond said and headed to the bar, thinking that Daniella was with him. Daniella had stayed behind to confront Anabel.
"I thought you had divorced him. Why are you shamelessly pestering him like a parasite?" Daniella started. "I know you wanted him back. That is why you are doing all these. But let me tell you. Desmond no longer needs you. You can't have him anymore. I will advise you to forget about him."
"And who said I wanted him back?" Anabel asked.
"You don't need to say anything. Actions speak louder than voice. I will advise you to stay away, very far away from him. He will never take paternity of that bastard you claim you have in your rotten womb. I will advise you to abort it. Don't bring the bastard child into this world to suffer."
"You must be very stupid for saying that. My baby is not a bastard."
"I'm giving you the impression that you have a bastard and you are not even happy. I forgot that you are barren." Daniella said, and Anabel couldn't help and slapped her. The sound got the attention of a few people around. "You can't insult me in the house and do the same thing in public. I would have left Michelle to have you thrown out. You ungrateful soul."
"It hurts." Daniella cried out, placing her hand over her tummy as if it's paining her. Desmond rushed immediately, "What is that? Did she hit you again?"
"Yes, baby. She's jealous that I'm taking over her. She punched me on my tummy. She wants to kill our baby by all means." Daniella cried.
"Anabel! What has come over you? Don't you have a conscience? It's not her fault that you are barren."
"You know I can never do that. I'm the reason she's still in here. Why will I punch her on her tummy? She called me barren, and I couldn't help but slap her."
"You slapped her when she's only telling the truth. Are you not barren?" Desmond asked. "The next time you touch my fiancée, I won't take it lightly with you."
"Then you should warn her to stop insulting me. I won't hesitate to teach her the lesson of her life."
"I know what is eating you up." Daniella spoke up. "You are just angry because of the true feelings Desmond had for me. No one loves you. They only use you and pay you."
"Angry because of a man I happily divorced? I'm happy that I'm no longer with him. At least I won't be wasting my time helping someone who doesn't appreciate. I'd rather remain single than to be with him." Anabel said.
"Because you were never meant to become his wife. You are meant to become his house help." Daniella stated. "He appreciates and takes good care of me. He treats me with respect and gives me whatever I want. Very soon, he's going to buy a car for me."
"He wants to buy a car for you when he can't even buy you a nice dress? I won't say more than what Miss Michelle said."
"He will buy all of that for me." Daniella turned to Desmond. "Won't you?"
"You are my wife; I will provide everything you need." Desmond replied with a smile.
"You hear that?"
"It's none of my business. I wonder why I'm still talking to both of you," Anabel said and left.
"Common. Let's go and see Miss Michelle. She will help you," Daniella urged and dragged Desmond along.
When they got to her, Daniella spoke up. "Miss Michelle. I will like to go straight to the point. We would like to be introduced to Miss Anabel Orton. We will compensate you if you want."
"The one you abused or another one?" Miss Michelle asked. "See, I've already granted you a favor by staying here. Don't push my hands."
"Sorry, we don't mean the other Anabel. We mean, Anabel Orton." Desmond tried to explain.
"I don't know who you guys are talking about. And...don't disturb me again." Miss Michelle said and left.
