The Plan Unfolds

Ch. 180 / 300 Mar 01, 2026

The weight of the decision pressed heavily on Hanna’s shoulders as she sat across from Elordi in the dimly lit corner of the school’s deserted courtyard. His phone screen glowed brightly in the low light, displaying a series of messages and photos that made her stomach twist. The evidence was damning—there was no denying that.

Elordi leaned in, his voice low and persuasive as he spoke. “This,” he said, tapping on the screen, “is what we need. You leak this, and Ciara will be finished. She won’t be able to recover from this. Her reputation will be destroyed, and no one will believe her anymore.”

Hanna felt the blood drain from her face as she stared at the screen. The messages were filled with manipulative language, and there were pictures—ugly, intrusive photos that showed Ciara’s true nature. She could already imagine how people would react once this information got out. It would be a blow that Ciara couldn’t come back from.

But as the images stared back at her, Hanna’s stomach twisted into knots. “This feels wrong,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’m not like her. I don’t want to fight with lies, even if they are true.”

Elordi’s eyes darkened, his smirk turning into something more calculated. “You’re already losing everything, Hanna,” he said, his tone biting and urgent. “Your reputation. Finn’s trust. All of it is slipping away because you’re trying to play by the rules. But the truth is, the rules don’t matter anymore. Ciara has already crossed every line. Do you want to lose Finn too? Or are you ready to fight back?”

Hanna’s chest tightened at the mention of Finn. She had tried so hard to protect their relationship, to keep him in the dark about the depths of Ciara’s manipulations. But now, with the rumors spiraling out of control, she wasn’t sure if there was anything left to save. Could she really let this go on any longer? Could she keep trying to do the right thing when Ciara kept winning with every move?

“Fine,” Hanna said, her voice trembling, but there was a newfound resolve in her words. “But we do this my way. No lies, no fake evidence. Just the truth.”

Elordi’s smirk widened, and for the first time, there was a hint of admiration in his gaze. “The truth hurts, doesn’t it?” he said, his voice dark and full of knowing. “But it’s the only thing that will truly destroy her. You’ll show everyone who she really is. And then you can take back everything she’s tried to ruin.”

Hanna bit her lip, her mind racing. The weight of the decision hung heavily over her, the burden of it pressing down on her chest. She had never imagined that she would be pushed to this point—to consider using the same dirty tactics that Ciara had used on her. But Elordi was right about one thing: Ciara had already crossed a line. She had destroyed so much, and now Hanna was standing at the crossroads, forced to choose between doing nothing and letting Ciara win or taking the risk of playing by her rules to stop her.

“Just the truth,” Hanna repeated to herself, trying to anchor herself in that simple principle. If she was going to do this, if she was going to fight back, it had to be done with integrity. She wasn’t going to let Ciara drag her down into the same pit of deceit and manipulation.

Elordi leaned back, clearly satisfied with her decision, his eyes gleaming. “Good,” he said. “I’ll handle the details. You just have to get the word out. Once people see the real Ciara, they won’t hesitate to turn on her.”

The confidence in his words made Hanna feel both empowered and terrified. She had a plan. She had a way to fight back. But at what cost? She wasn’t sure how far she was willing to go. Was exposing the truth enough, or was Elordi right about needing to go further, to truly destroy Ciara’s credibility?

As the conversation drew to a close, Hanna felt a strange mix of dread and anticipation. She had just agreed to play the game on her own terms, but the question lingered in the back of her mind: Would the truth be enough, or would she have to sink to Ciara’s level to win?

As Elordi walked away, leaving her alone with her thoughts, Hanna couldn’t shake the feeling that the fire she was about to set could easily burn her as well. The path to redemption, to reclaiming everything Ciara had taken, was a dangerous one. But at that moment, Hanna felt the heat of it ignite in her chest. She was ready to stop running from the storm. If she had to face it, she would do it head-on.

She just hoped she could survive the flames.
