Never Just Friends

A Dangerous Night

Ch. 200 / 300 Mar 01, 2026

The air was thick with tension as Hanna paced the floor of her room, the weight of Elordi’s words pressing on her chest. He had called earlier with a promise—an update that could change everything. A way to finally end Ciara’s games, once and for all. But the location he’d given her—the old warehouse—felt like a risk she wasn’t sure she could take.

She had always known Elordi was dangerous, unpredictable, but now, desperation was clouding her judgment. What choice did she have? Ciara was still out there, plotting her next move, twisting everything she touched, and the lies had already cost Hanna so much. So, when Elordi asked her to meet him, the decision had been made before she even finished hearing his voice.

Hanna’s fingers tightened around the steering wheel as she drove through the darkened streets. She knew it was reckless, that she was walking right into the lion’s den. But the idea of finally having what she needed to shut Ciara down—the key to ending this endless nightmare—was too much to ignore. It could all be over tonight, or it could blow up in her face.

The warehouse loomed ahead, its silhouette stark against the darkened sky. The windows were boarded up, the building looking abandoned and cold. As she pulled into the gravel lot, the sound of her tires crunching beneath the weight of her decision felt like the loudest noise in the world.

When she stepped out of the car, the cold air hit her like a slap. She looked around, her heart pounding in her chest. She hadn’t expected anyone else to be there. Elordi had said he’d be waiting, but the night felt too quiet. Too still.

She pulled her jacket tighter around her, and as if on cue, a figure appeared from the shadows. It was Elordi, leaning casually against a table piled with papers, his expression unreadable in the dim light of the warehouse.

“About time,” he said with that same confident smirk. He didn’t move, didn’t come toward her, but his eyes scanned her face, as though searching for something. “You came.”

“I don’t have a choice,” Hanna said, her voice tight with a mix of frustration and fear. “What is this? What’s so important that I had to come all the way out here?”

Elordi chuckled darkly, pushing off from the table and walking over to where she stood. “I wouldn’t say you didn’t have a choice,” he replied, his tone light, though his words were heavy with meaning. “But you want to stop Ciara, don’t you? End it all?”

Hanna nodded, her heart racing. “Yes, but I need to know you’re not playing me. That you’re not using me to get something for yourself.”

Elordi met her gaze with a sharpness that made her blood run cold. “I told you I don’t do anything without reason, Hanna. I’m helping you because I want to see Ciara fall. But this isn’t about me. It’s about ending her once and for all.”

He reached over to the table and grabbed a thick folder, holding it out to her. Hanna took it, her hands trembling slightly. She knew what was inside could be the evidence she needed to destroy Ciara. To finally take her down for good.

“This,” Elordi said as she opened the folder, “is everything you need. Messages, photos, receipts. All tied to her manipulations. The way she’s been pulling the strings behind the scenes, destroying people’s lives—your life.”

Hanna’s breath caught as her eyes skimmed the documents inside the folder. She saw screenshots of text messages, fake conversations that Ciara had set up to ruin relationships, make people distrust each other. There were photos of meetings with people Hanna knew, images that showed Ciara’s calculated moves, her power plays to make others look guilty. And there were even receipts, payments made to silence people, to bribe them into doing her bidding.

Hanna’s chest tightened as she realized the depth of Ciara’s lies. This wasn’t just about personal vendettas anymore; Ciara had been playing a much bigger game all along. She wasn’t just trying to ruin Hanna—she was trying to destroy anyone who got in her way.

“This is it,” Hanna whispered, her voice barely audible. She held the folder in her hands as if it might crumble under the weight of the truth it contained. “This is everything.”

Elordi stepped closer, watching her closely. “Yes, it is. Now you have the power, Hanna. The choice is yours. You can take her down, expose her for what she really is, or you can let her continue to tear people apart. But you’re going to need to decide quickly. If we wait too long, she’ll figure out what’s coming, and she’ll do everything in her power to destroy you first.”

Hanna’s fingers tightened around the folder, the pieces of the puzzle finally falling into place. She had always known that Ciara was dangerous, that she was playing a game with stakes higher than anyone could see. But now, Hanna had the ammunition to fight back. The power to turn the tables.

But as she looked at the photos, the receipts, and the messages, a part of her hesitated. She couldn’t help but think about the cost. The damage that exposing all of this would do. To Ciara, yes—but also to her. To Finn. To everyone involved.

Elordi was right, though. If she didn’t act, Ciara would keep playing, keep manipulating, and keep ruining everything. The only way to stop her was to fight back—harder than ever before.

Hanna looked up at Elordi, her resolve hardening. “Let’s do it,” she said, her voice steady, though her hands shook with the weight of her decision. “We end this tonight.”

Elordi’s smirk returned, darker this time. “That’s what I like to hear.”

And as they prepared to release the evidence, Hanna felt a chill crawl up her spine. She wasn’t just exposing Ciara anymore. She was stepping into a world she didn’t fully understand, a world where every decision could have consequences far beyond what she was ready to face.

But there was no turning back now.
