"Need some help?" I turned around to see Ares standing there with a big bouquet of flowers.
"Hey.. I thought you have work."
"Work on my girlfriend's day? It can wait.." He said and I smiled. He gave me the flower and me a kiss on the top of my head.
"Thank you, these are so beautiful." I said.
"Tell me what to do.." He said and I asked him to help carry the chair upstairs. He rolled his and my eyes glued to him.
"You're drooling.."
"Just go.. boyfriend." I said and he chuckled.
"Athena." I turned to Grace and she gestured me to go to her.
"We're all good." She said as she showed me all the CCTV.
"Okay."
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah, pretty much." I said and Grace gave me a hug.
"It will go smoothly.." to be honest, it happened so fast. I gathered a good team and I'm so . I turned to the clock and it's almost 3.
"Look who's here.." Grace said and I turned to the door. I smiled seeing Ares' family and they me. They even bought flowers for me.
"Please sit wherever you like.."
"This place is beautiful." Lily said.
"I know, Ares helped me a lot." He was the one who gave me the place actually.
"You did good." Rachel said.
"I like it.. it's cozy." Viola said as she linked her arm around mine. After that some of my friends and congratulated me. My family called and they will come here next week.
It was my fault not telling them the opening because it's pretty hectic. I'm glad they're going to next week.
Everyone already sat on their seat and some of them already ordered. I made sure everything smoothly and I even asked Ares to just sit but he insisted on helping.
I was busy checking the orders when Grace poked my shoulder.
"Someone's here for you." I turned to see Raymond. I smiled and walked to him.
"Hi." He said and he brought flowers too.
"Congratulations on the opening.." He said as he gave me a brief hug.

"I have to make sure there's no oyster on the menu." He said and I chuckled.
"No, we don't have it. You don't need to worry."
"This place is nice." He said as he looked around.
"Didn't expect to see you here?" Ares said as he possessively put his arm around my waist.
"Ares." I warned.
"Just supporting a friend." Raymond said.
"Darling, do you min- oh.. are you Athena's friend?" Lily turned to Raymond.
"Yes, I'm Raymond."
"Oh.. Raymond." Lily glanced at Ares and he rolled his eyes.
"Please join us.." Lily dragged Raymond to their table.
"Great.." Ares hissed.
"Don't be an asshole.." I said and he glared at me.
"Throw that flowers away." He said as he tried to grab it.
"Ares, baby, today is my day.. and jealousy doesn't suit you." I said and he crashed his lips to .
"I start to think it suits me. Now, chop chop girlfriend.. I want your special menu." He said as he me to the kitchen. I started to check everything with all the chefs and I joined them.
I made some of the dishes first and started to make a special menu for Ares' family. I was , but I'm pretty confident. I worked hard for it and I'm sure the restaurant will do good.
I walked out with the special menu and put the plate in front of Ares. He was surprised because was busy talking to Kilian.
"Special for me?"
"Special for the boyfriend." I nodded and I grabbed an empty seat to sit beside him. He took a of the beef and then he turned to me.
"What? It's not good?" I asked and he smiled. He gave me a peck on my lips.
"It's good, babe." He said and I smiled.
"Okay.. you can share it." I said and he shook his head.
"I'm not sharing this." He said but Viola stole the plate from him.
"Vi! What the.." She took a bite and her eyes widen. She gave it to her parents and Lily.
"Babe, it's so good. You should try it.." Viola said to Kilian.
"Athena.." I turned to Ares who's already glaring at me.
"What?"
"You made that for me. I don't like sharing."
"I'll make you more later." I turned to see Raymond took a bite. He turned to me and smiled. He me a thumbs up and I mouthed thank you.
"Don't make me poke his eyes.." Ares said, it was loud enough for everyone to hear. They all to Ares but he was busy glaring at Raymond. Raymond gave him a smile.
"Okay.. that's enough." I said and Ares was still glaring at Raymond. I cupped his face making look at me.
"Drop it.." I said.
"Fine." He hissed and I smiled.
"Thank you." I gave him a kiss on his cheek. I got up from my seat to check other tables making everything goes according to plan.
