"I'm so excited for this trip! I can't wait!" Lily said and I chuckled nodding.
"We will have so much fun.." Rachel said.
I love the Andersons but I really wanted to lay down and rest. Ares was a man of his words. He to carry me out from the office and to my apartment.
He ruined me.
I was surprised that I could still walk to my door to greet Lily and Rachel.
"Martin never initiate a vacation before but he said after seeing Ares so.. blank out, he decided we need one." Rachel said and I nodded.
"It will be a fun trip." I said as I leaned my body back.
"Are you okay dear?" Lily asked.
"I'm fine, it's just period cramp. It's pretty bad, I'm so sorry." I looked at them both.
"We understand! We'll go.. you have to get some rest! I'll send Ares here!" Lily said and I to reject her offer about sending Ares here but she will be so suspicious.
"Thank you."
"Rest well, dear." Rachel said and with that they both left. I walked to my bed and laid there.
My phone rang and it's Raymond.
"Hello."
"Are you okay? Are you sick?" He said after hearing my voice.
"I'm okay, just.. period cramps."
"Let me go there, I'll bring you some medicine." He offered.
"It's okay, I'm really tired and need some sleep.." I said.
"Okay, I'll visit you later. Drink warm water and have a rest."
"Thank you." I said and I fell asleep right away.
I woke up feeling a warm towel on my stomach. I opened my eyes and found Ares sitting on a beside my bed. I glared at him as I sat up leaning on the headboard.
"How did you get in?" I asked coldly.
"I know your code." He said proudly and I sighed.
"Are you here to punish me again?" I asked sarcastically.
"Unless you're being a bad girl." He said as he moved to sit next to me. He gave me a sweet on my lips and tucked my hair to the back of my ear.
"I bought you lots of food, do you want to eat dinner now?" He asked and I nodded. I tried to get on my own but Ares picked me up bridal style. He carried me out to the dining room.
He wasn't joking when he said he bought a lot of food. He bought chinese takeouts, indian food, , pasta, sushi and lastly korean fried chicken. I turned to him and he smiled gesturing me eat.
"Eat up." He said and I took the chicken first. I took a bite and he started eating too.
"What made Martin decides to go on a vacation?" I asked.
"Because he caught me daydreaming about you.."
"What?" I looked at him disbelief.
"I was busy thinking about you that he thought I was overworked. He just didn't know that we -" I stopped him by stuffing his mouth with pizza.
"Shut up." I said and kept eating until I was full. While Ares washed the dishes, I sat on the sofa on the TV to watch netflix. He plopped next to me and pulled me close.
"How was the restaurant today?"
"It was good, pretty hectic but good." I said. "How about you? How's work?"
"Just like my dad said.. I can't concentrate." I smacked his chest playfully.
"Can't wait for Bora-bora, we will have so much fun."
"I know, it will be exciting."
"Oh.. when will you family come again? I mean what time? Let's pick them up from the airport."
He said and that made me turn to him.
"You want to pick them up?"
"Why not? I want to impress my girlfriend's family, is that a crime?" I always reminded myself I'm his fake girlfriend not real. We're just living in the moment, we both know it will end .
"It's Thursday, around 3 pm."
"Perfect, I'll pick you up at 2." I nodded and turned back to the TV.
I don't know where exactly we stand. We're having a fake relationship but we both treated each like we're in a real one. I kept reminding myself that I can't fall for this man because will end.
Why would you hang on to something that will eventually go? I'm not that dumb to put myself . Right?
