"Mom! Dad! Js!" I squealed when I saw them. I ran towards them and my dad opened his arms . I jumped to him and he spun me.
"Hello, sunshine.." He chuckled.
"I miss you!" I said as I got down. I hugged my mom tightly.
"Miss you, mom!"
"Miss you more, darling.." She said and I pulled away. I turned to my brothers and hugged them.
"I'm so happy that you're all heree!" I said.
"Good to know, kiddo." Jayson said and I smacked his back.
"Who?" Jackson said and I turned to Ares.
"Guys, meet my boyfriend, Ares. Ares, meet the family. This is Jackson and this is Jayson." I them and Ares gave all of them a hug.
He introduced himself and I'm pretty sure my family likes him. He then helped my parents with luggage.
"He's cute, how come you never tell me that you have.. a boyfriend?" Mom whispered and I .
"We just.. dated. Do you like him?" I asked and she nodded.
"I like him and I think your dad's too." I chucked and I nodded. Ares drove an SUV here and Dad at the front with him and I sat with Jackson at the back. Mom and Jayson sat in the middle.
"What?" I asked Jackson since he was looking at me weirdly.
"Since when you have a.. boyfriend?" He asked.
"About.. almost 2 months ago.." I said and he looked at me suspiciously.
"What?"
"Nothing." He said.
"Babe, can you grab the bottles at the back and give it your family?" I turned to Ares and he my back. I turned to the back and found waters. I grabbed it and gave it to everyone.
"Where are we going?" I asked because this is not the way to my apartment.
"You'll see." Ares said and he continued to chat with dad. My siblings gave me a weird look and
I raised my eyebrows. He drove towards a hotel and he gave his car to the valet driver.
We all got out from the car and we walled into the hotel.
"Ares.. what are you doing?" I said stopping him.
"What? I can't treat my girlfriend's family?" He asked as he grabbed my hand dragging me to the -in. He booked a family suite and I can't believe him.
He then gave the hotel card to my dad.
"Thank you, Ares." Dad said as he patted my shoulder.
"But.." I was about to protest.
"We like you." Jackson said as he patted his shoulder too.
"Thank you, Ares. You should have not book us a hotel, we stay in Athena's apartment just fine."
Mom said.
"It's okay, I want you to have an enjoyable stay. Can I pick you guys up in an hour? She has preparing lots of delicious foods for you." Ares said as he put his arm around my shoulder.
"Okay. Thank you again, Ares." Mom said and Jayson gave him a nod before walking away with .
"Why didn't you tell me?!" I asked.
"Because I know you will hate it, I like your family so I want to be on their good side." He said he gave me a kiss on my cheek.
"I'll see you in two hours?" I asked.
"Sure, I'll see you in two hours." He said and I gave him a peck on the cheek.

I went back to my office to settle some work before picking up Athena and her family in two . I got into a short meeting and my dad called me to go to his office.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw the woman that I wish not to see again.
Madeline.
Her family came to visit my dad and when she saw me, she got up from the sofa and walked me giving me a hug.
"How are you?" She asked.
"I'm good." I said. I didn't even bother to ask back or to hug her back. She pulled away and her arm to mine.
"It's been two years, it's so nice to see you again." She said as she caressed my forearm.
"Hi Ares." I turned to her parents. I pushed her away and walked towards Gerry and Esther.
They gave me a brief hug and I turned to my dad.
"I can't stay to chat, I have some work that I need to finish." I said as I looked at Gerry and
Esther.
"Okay." Dad nodded and he excused me. I walked out from his office and I knew Madeline me.
"How about we have dinner?" She asked stopping me by holding on my arm.
"I don't have time to spend with you, Madeline."
"Ares, please.. let's talk." She begged as she stood in front of me.
"No, I'm busy." I walked past her and went back to my office. I quickly finished my work and Athena.
"Hello." I found myself smiling hearing her sweet voice.
"I'm going to pick you up, are you ready?"
"We're ready."
"See you in 10 minutes." I said and ended the call. I walked out from my office and went down. I my dad is going to send his guest out.
"Ares, come and join us for dinner." Gerry said.
"Sorry, I have a date with my girlfriend and her family." I said and Madeline's face was priceless.
I waved at them and walked out. They already took my car out for me.
I got into my car and drove to the hotel. When I arrived at the lobby, they're already waiting for . They entered the car.
"Ready?" I asked turning my head to Carson.
"So ready." Carson.
"I'm starving!" Anna said.
"I'm so prepared." I drove to Athena's restaurant and once we got there. The whole family Athena entered the restaurant.
"Are you nervous?" I asked her as I grabbed her hand.
"I am. My dad is a chef, I'm scared."
"He'll love it. I bet they all are so proud of you." I said as I pulled her into a hug.
"They like you a lot.." I smiled when she said that. I pulled away.
"Of course, I'm this charming. How can they not like me?" I said and she smacked my stomach .
"Let's go.." She said and I followed her inside. I sat beside Carson. Athena went straight to the and I turned to Carson to see his reaction seeing the menu.
"Athena worked really hard for this." I said and he looked up to me.
"I know. She always been dreaming opening her own restaurant. She has talents for it." He as he continued to look at the menu.
"How can.. she afford this? I bet it's pretty expensive." Anna said.
"Don't worry, she has been saving up a lot." I said.
"I'm surprised my sister can.. date someone who came with a lot of money." I turned to Jayson.
"We were.. friends before. She was my junior." He raised his eyebrows. "You went to St.John?"
Jackson asked and I nodded.
"I see.."
After waiting for 10 minutes, the food came and Athena delivered it herself. She was nervous as looked at her dad grabbed the knife and fork.
"Athena, sit down." Carson said and I gestured to sit beside him. I loved to the next seat and
Athena sat beside him waiting for his reaction.
He tasted every food on the table and the whole family was watching him. I wanted to take a of it because how nervous everyone is. I held her hand giving her assurance.
"Try it." Carson said without giving any feedbacks. Anna, Jackson and Jayson immediately their fork to try.
"Dad?" Athena stressed out.
"You know.." Carson said as he put his fork and knife down. Even I'm nervous for Athena, I'm here.
"Do you hate it?" Athena asked.
"Dad, stop stressing her out. She'll cry in her room again later at night." I turned to Jayson and smirked to me.
"She? She cried?" I mouthed and he nodded.
"It's really good, Athena. I'm really proud of you." He said and Athena leaned her body to me.
"All the flavors melted in my mouth perfect and the amount of spice was.. good." He caressed
Athena's head.
"It's so delicious, sis." Jayson said as he gave eating it.
"Glad that you all like it.." Athena let out a breath of relieve. I chuckled and held her hand tighter.
"That was intense." She whispered.
"I was sweating with you.." I said.
"He's cruel."
"Did you really cry after you dad told your dish was not good?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, I did.." She sighed and I chuckled.
"Eat up." She gave me my fork and I joined them. We talked about a lot of things and apparently three siblings are a big fan of travelling.
I'm excited to go to Bora-bora with her.
