I was cooking when Ares bursted into my kitchen. He looked like he has lost his mind. He turned me and walked towards me.
"What are you doing?!" I asked as I took a step back. I looked at him in horror and he grabbed hand. He dragged me out from the restaurant without saying a word. He opened his car and me inside.
"Ares, what are you doing?!" I was trying to runaway. He put the seatbelt on and closed the .
"Ares!!" I screamed as I tried to open the car door. It's locked, he must have lock it from the . He got in.
"Ares.. please.. if you want to talk, let's talk! Please.." I begged but he ignored me.
"Ares.. please.. let's talk.."
"Ares! Pull over.. pull over! Please.. you're scaring me!" I screamed at him but he ignored me.
His face was cold, his eyes were dark and he's not Ares. He drove his car faster through the going outside of LA.
"Ares, please.. don't do this! Let's talk.."
"Ares.. this is not you!" We arrived at a mansion and there's a lot of guards inside. Is he going to me to the mafia? Is he going to kill me?
He stopped the car and got out. He talked to someone. I took this opportunity to take off my and got out from his car through the driver side.
I was stopped by 3 guards immediately and Ares turned to me. He walked towards me and my upper arm.
"Ares.. please.. let's talk." I begged as he dragged me into the house. As soon as I got in, I saw men waiting for us in the living room.
He's going to kill me.
"Ares, please.. don't kill me.." I said and he turned to me. He looked at me coldly.
"Please.. I'm sorry." I begged and he turned to the two men.
"Give me the documents." He said and I turned to the two men. They took out a file from their and put it in front of us.
"Ares, what are you doing?!" I asked.
"You're not going anywhere, Athena. I'm going to keep you forever, this is your punishment!" He and he opened the file. My eyes widen when I saw it.
He did not.
He.. wanted me to sign a marriage license.
My jaw dropped and I turned to him. He turned to me coldly and gave me the pen.
"You're forcing me to marry you?" I asked and I turned fully to him. "You want this for what? To what?" I asked raising my voice.
"That you're mine and that you have to pay for my broken heart!" He bursted angrily at me and I his eyes filled with tears. He cried and he grabbed my hand forcing me to sign the license.
"Why don't you marry Madeline?" I asked and his eyes darkened.
"I don't give a fuck about Madeline!"
"I look like her, aren't I?" I said and that's when hell broke loose.
"You think I would go this far for you just because you looked like her? You're fucking insane,
Athena! You're fucking insane! Is this why you dump me?" He bursted as he ran his hands his hair.
"You told me when you were drunk, you told me that you picked me because I looked like her."
"Jesus, Athena! I did but things change! God! For Fucksake!" He cried and laughed at the same .
"You're making me fucking insane.." He said and while he's having a breakdown. I turned to the men and signed the marriage license. I turned to Ares and he looked at me dumbfound.
"Sign it.." I said. He looked at me confused.
"Sign it and go with the plan that you're planning to keep me here like a prisoner." I said and he on the sofa. He was going insane.
"Sign it, Ares!" I said and he turned to me.
"You acted normal when you can slap me.. be mad at me.. or scream to my face.. Why?"
"Sign it first." I said and he got up to sign the marriage license. He gestured the two men to go we both sat on the sofa. None of us say a word.
"I'm going to take a tour around the house." I said and I got up from the sofa. I walked upstairs and started to go through every room.
This hous is so beautiful, too beautiful to be precise. I walked out to the balcony and saw around 50 guadrs surrounding the property.
He's crazy.
"Are you playing mind games with me?" I turned to Ares who was standing behind me with his in his pockets.
"What mind games?"
"Why did you sign the marriage license?" He asked and I walked past him. I continued the tour went up to the third floor. It's a beautiful rooftop.
"Why?!" Ares asked and he was not happy. I turned to him.
"What do you mean why? Didn't you want me to sign it?" I asked as I walked closer to him.
"I was.. going to force you." He said.
"Why do you want me to marry you?" I asked.
"Because I love you and you're not going anywhere. You're not going to be with someone else long as live." He said and my heart stopped hearing the L word.
"I thought you.. don't want to settle down."
"Not anymore." He said coldly.
"I thought you only want flings, you'll regret marrying me." I said.
"I won't regret it."
"What if I'm in love with someone else?"
"I'll kill them." He was not kidding, I knew he's not kidding.
"You're willing to kill people because I love them? Are you for real?"
"I already killed one." My jaw dropped and my eyes widened.
"You're kidding.."
"Why would I?"
"Who?"
"Raymond." What?!
"You're fucking insane! I didn't sleep with him! Why would you do that?! It was photoshopped!
Ares! You killed Raymond?!" I was going insane, he killed Raymond.
"Wanna see the photo?" He asked as he grabbed his phone and threw it to me. The phone fell the ground and I saw Raymond's lifeless body in the picture.
He was badly beaten and he got a knife on his heart.
"Ares!" I screamed. I turned to him and walked towards him. I grabbed his collar and can't it.
"It was- I lied. I didn't sleep with him. He didn't do anything wrong! It was all photoshoped.
Please.. OMG!" I said and he looked at me disbelief.
"Ares!" I screamed at him.
"Why did you sign the marriage license?" He asked. "Why?!" He bursted.
"Because I love you! I fucking love you.. so much that it hurts!" I said.
"I love you, Ares! You don't know.. that I'm so in love with you! Imagine me finding out that you.. me because I looked like her! I hate myself, I hate how I look! I never looked at the mirror that!" I bursted everything out and his eyes soften.
"I admitted that I chose you because that reason but after having a relationship with you.
Everything changed. I like you.. a lot. You don't even know, Athena. I was going insane, I you so much that I tried to take everything slow.." He said and I looked away.
"I would kill for you, Athena. I would.. do anything and asking you to marry me was never an . It will be a statement from me and you will never have the chance to reject or even from me." I turned to him and my eyes filled with tears.
"Do you know how much it hurt when you said you cheated on me?! I turned into an alcoholic, I everything that I could punch. Trust me, you unleashed the monster in me. I was with you to the point, I won't be able to breath if you leave me."
"Did you kill Raymond?" I asked.
"No. I knew that you didn't sleep with him. I confronted him and he told me everything. I did the thing that you did. But we used fake blood and a professional photographer for it." The ?!
"You.." He made speechless.
"Why did you sign it?" He asked.
"Madeline called me. She.. told me about what you said to her. She apologized." I said. "You planned to keep me here? With all these guards.."
"Not only that.. I got approval from your parents and your brothers." My jaw dropped.
"You.. did not! You're lying!"
"Why would I? Call them.. and let's see how they reacted.." He smirked.
