The honey reception lasted a couple of more hours before the bride and groom had to head out to go on there. Friends and family stood in two lines, creating an aisle. The crowd had bubble guns and shooting bubbles into the air. Both the bride and groom had huge smiles on their faces as they ran holding hands while running through the aisle to get to their car. When Rika and Key were in the car, they looked out of the windows of the car and waved goodbye to their guests! After a couple of minutes, the car drove off. In the car, Key and Rika sat in the backseat. Key looked at his wife.
"I can't believe that we did it. We are now husband and wife!" Key piped up. Rika nodded in agreement.
"Yes, we did. I am so happy that I am to be your wife." Rika spoke with a smile on her face. Key smiled back as he held her hand in his.
"And I am so happy that I am and to be your husband, darling." Key spoke back to her then placed the back of her hand up to his mouth and kissed it. Rika did the same with the back of Key's hand after he finished kissing hers. The two of them could not wait to spend the rest of their lives with one another as a married couple. And no matter what comes their way, Key and Rika will always be together. For the rest of their lives.
A week later.
Time seemed to stop when Rika was still in her husband's arms. Sitting on his lap with a blanket over them, he rocked back and forth in the large rocking chair while they watched the beautiful sun begin to fade on the horizon and the never-ending water along the curve of the earth.
One hand he placed on Rika's stomach while the other played with her fingers. Gently moving them along with him, he smiled while Rika's head rested on his neck.
The gentle and cool evening breeze carefully stirred the tranquil surroundings. Along with gently rocking and watching the beautiful sunset with your husband on your honeymoon, nothing could be more perfect.
But once the sun had gone out and the dazzling light show faded into the night, Rika laced her fingers into his before raising her head to look at him.
"What should we do now?" Rika whispered.
"Do you want to know?" Key looked down at Rika with a smile on his face.
"How do I?" Rika asked him back.
"No, but you need to change to something comfortable and warm." Key lifted Rika in his arms with ease before returning to the living space.
"Why?" Rika wrapped her arms around his neck as he entered the bedroom. "You don't want to know." Key teased Rika and laid her down on the bed, he kissed her temple before he walked over to the wardrobe. Leaving the door open, he looked through Rika's suitcase for two outfits.
"We're here." He smiled back. "Some nice jeans and a sweater with a graphic design for you and me, some jeans and a black knit sweater." He made his choice while Rika sat on the bed and nodded.
"Love them." Rika smiled, Key gave her the clothes he chose for her before going to the bathroom to change.
After changing her clothes, Rika opted for some comfortable closed-toe shoes and pulled her hair over one shoulder before braiding it and tying it back with a hair tie. Key came out a few minutes later and passed Rika before putting on his socks and shoes.
"Where are we going? I'm curious." Rika jumped up and down with excitement causing Key to laugh on the edge of the bed.
"You don't want to know." He chuckled but stood up when he was done. Putting his phone in his pocket and taking out his wallet, he wrapped his arm around Rika's waist. "Are you ready to go?" He asked back to Rika's ear. Taking the phone from the cupboard, Rika turned around and kissed him on the cheek.
"Ready," Rika whispered.
"Let's go," Key said and ran towards the front door.
"Yah!" Rika called out with a chuckle, but he was already waiting for her with the door open. "Silly." She walks through the door and Key closes it behind them.
Putting Rika's hand in his, he smiled and led her down the street, walking down the sidewalk, he beamed as you looked around at the lights starting to come on and the wonderful smells of food. began to be brought out and placed on stands on either side of the street.
"Where is this?" Rika asked with boiling curiosity.
"The streets are in Paris but at night. They say it's like nowhere else, so I thought we could try something new tonight. Because we came here for our honeymoon. secret." Key smiled while the lights from the shops and stands began to light up the street.
"Can we go get some food?" Rika looked over at her husband.
"Of course, tonight is on me." He patted his chest and laughed.
"Then I won't buy too much." Rika teases her arms around him and he wraps around her.
They went from one stand to another, eating the samples they gave them, Rika gave Key some and he gave it to Rika. Seeing some of the clothing stalls, they passed by and looked at the beautiful weaving and beading they had.
Carefully perusing the jewelry, Key chose a beautiful beaded bracelet, he looked over at her, while she was looking at the beautiful scarves on display.
"Rika," Key called Rika over, next to her, and she smiled.
"What is it, Key?" Rika was already looking into his eyes while the low light made them sparkle. Becoming speechless in Rika's presence, he once again lifted her hand and wrapped the beautiful bracelet around her wrist. Her eyes looked down and saw the bracelet worn on the sleeve of her sweater.
"It is so beautiful." Rika smiled and brought the bracelet closer to admire the different beads strung on the string.
"I'll take that one," Key said then turned back to the woman behind the counter. Passing the money over, Rika looked up at Key a little confusedly.
"What are you doing?" Rika asked him softly.
"I want to buy you something so you can remember our honeymoon." He smiled and received the change from the woman. "Thank you, good night."
