She got angry and slammed her hand on the table. "Let's not talk to each other anymore."
Raymon knows that she's mad at him because of the words he said to her that day, but he doesn't regret the words he said.
"Don't be mad at me for that little thing."
"For you, it's a small thing? You hurt me, it doesn't matter?"
She asked him back, looking emotionless at the man standing in front of her.
Raymon shook his head.
"I didn't mean that, I just wanted the best for you."
"Your kindness, I dare not accept."
Jane quickly dismissed his statement, she didn't want to say another word to Raymon. She brushed past him and headed for the door, Raymon's hand reaching out to hold Jane's.
"Can I ask you something?"
"If my answer could end our relationship, then feel free to ask."
He shivered slightly, hands clenched.
"Do you love me?"
Jane laughed softly. She said in a mocking voice.
"No, I never loved you." Finished speaking, Jane shook his hand and left, leaving only Raymon, alone in the middle of the room.
Raymon kept his promise, he never came to her again. Her desk was also moved out.
Jane saw that he was cold to her, and on the surface, she seemed comfortable, as if nothing had happened. But inside she was screaming fiercely.
Jane holds a pen and scribbles on the paper, her mind is now floating in the clouds, unable to focus on the work.
A stack of documents fell on the table, and Jane lifted her head to see Raymon's displeased face looking at her.
"I hired you here to work, not to daydream."
She slowly stood up, in front of so many people, and she bowed to him.
"Sorry boss, I won't do it again."
"Work hard, your level is very poor compared to others."
He scolded Jane in front of many people in the office.
She forced a smile at him, is this the real Raymon?
He ignored her and didn't look at her anymore, he gave her a slight glare and went back to his office. Everyone in the office started talking.
"At first Jane was spoiled by her boss."
"Or did she make the boss angry?"
Their anxious, disparaging words all reached her ears, not missing a word. Jane took a deep breath, adjusting her mood.
Clutching the file, Jane choked out a whisper.
'Forget it, I need a better life.'
Inside the room, Raymon watched her reaction.
He got angry, kicked the chair hard, and paced back and forth in the room. He thought that she would react harshly to him, but no, she agreed to quietly listen to him scold.
'Why don't you protest?'
Raymon held his head helplessly, his eyes complicated as he looked at the girl who was lowering her head.
He saw the staff around her talking bad about her but he didn't want to stop her. He wants to see how she will handle it, he wants her to strongly resist, and not let others bully her.
During the break, she went to the cafeteria as usual alone. Today's atmosphere was a bit different, she looked around and suddenly appeared a group of female staff.
Jane stepped back, looking at them confused.
"What do you guys want?"
One of them looked at her with a smirk, and she stepped forward and lifted Jane's face to face hers.
"Not pretty, nothing outstanding, why does Mr. Raymon like you? But now it's different, if you knew your position from the beginning, you wouldn't be scolded by your boss."
Jane looked at her, knowing well that the purpose was to come to find her. Jane swatted her hand away, took a tissue from her pocket, and wiped the spot she'd touched.
Seeing Jane's hateful action, the woman was angry, she wanted to go ahead and teach Jane a lesson but was made to shiver by Jane's cold gaze.
Jane moved closer to her, a mocking smile on her lips.
Scared, she stepped back. The other women also began to look worriedly at Jane.
She looked at them for a moment and said.
"You guys came to me just for this? I and Raymon are unrelated. Don't act arrogant. I'm silent but I'm not afraid. Today is the first and last time, I don't want this to happen. out one more time, do you understand what I mean?"
She raised her eyebrows at them, of course, her words did not reach their ears.
The woman gritted her teeth.
"Don't teach others. Do you know who I am? I'm Kaylin, the whole company knows, please accept."
Jane laughed. Applause echoed throughout the cafeteria. Jane has no fear and even looks down on them.
Kaylin was angry, she saw that Jane's attitude was still unruly.
Kaylin ordered her friends to come forward and arrest Jane.
Jane's eyes narrowed, although she was weak, unable to resist them, she did not give in to them.
Jane saw a tree next to her, she did not hesitate to pick it up and hit the female staff.
In pain, they rage even more. Jane saw that things were still wrong, she kicked the person closest to her but she still couldn't avoid being hit in the stomach by them.
Jane clutched her stomach, dropped to one knee, and Kaylin lifted her chin.
"You should accept defeat, we will let it go."
Jane rolled her eyes, her mouth curling into a smile.
"Never."
"Damn it."
Kaylin went mad, she grabbed Jane's hair and pulled her back, Jane tried to control the pain. From start to finish, she didn't shed a single tear, Jane knew that for this group of women, she would not accept defeat.
"Hit her." Finally, how many consecutive punches were poured on Jane's small body? She was in pain but didn't complain or complain. She didn't show them her pathetic appearance.
Raymon stood behind the wall, he saw the situation in front of him. When he heard her denying the relationship with him, he was greatly disappointed, he stood motionless in place, not thinking.
Jane's low-pitched cry woke up Raymon's mind, he quickly turned his head to look. Immediately, Jane's pale, bloodless face met his eyes.
Raymon rushed to hug her, his voice urgent.
"Are you okay? Tell me."
She was beaten so badly by them, so she couldn't help but scream, when he came, looking at the face of the person who brought her trouble, for some reason, Jane felt humiliated.
