The next morning at eight o'clock, after instructing the nanny--Mrs. Cate, to take care of the two treasures and giving each of them a kiss on the cheek, Alessia left the house.
Christian and Eleanor watched from the balcony until Alessia's figure completely disappeared, then they glanced at each other and quietly slipped out the door.
The taxi raced down the highway and arrived at the X fishing area after about three hours.
Alessia unbuckled her seatbelt, got out of the car, and looked at the beautiful resort hotel in front of her.
This new fishing area was the most important development project in the city in recent years. This resort hotel had just been built not long ago but already had rave reviews online.
Alessia planned to stay here until the next email arrived.
Inside the hotel, the lobby was quiet, with only a few scattered guests sitting on the sofas.
Alessia went to the front desk, took out her ID directly, and checked in.
"Here's your room card, please take care of it, and have a pleasant stay."
"Thank you." Alessia nodded, took the room card handed over by the receptionist, and turned to walk towards the direction of the restroom.
Not far away, Dominic and Christopher had just arrived at the hotel and happened to see Alessia leaving the front desk.
The woman was wearing a simple black top and jeans that hugged her model-like figure, exuding a clean and cold temperament.
Unconsciously, Dominic recalled what Benjamin had said in the bar.
"It won't be long before she appears in front of you."
He didn't expect Benjamin's prediction to come true. Just one day later, this woman appeared before him again.
If yesterday's encounter at the amusement park was a coincidence, he couldn't say the same for now.
Dominic's gaze turned cold. He hated scheming women and even more so, women who thought they were clever.
Beside him, Christopher, with the rash still on his face, wore a black mask and stood straight, his eyes shining brightly as he looked at Alessia.
His thoughts were not as complicated as Dominic's. He was only thinking about how lucky it was.
The neighbor aunt was also here. Could Christian's beautiful sister also be here?
"President, do you know that guest?" Behind him, the hotel manager, who had been following respectfully, noticed Dominic's gaze and asked.
"No." Dominic's face darkened, and he walked towards the elevator.
As the elevator was about to open, a cold, white hand reached in.
Alessia walked into the elevator and saw Dominic and Christian standing straight across from her. No, he wasn't Christian.
His eyes were just like Christian's, but the rash on his forehead indicated otherwise.
Half-siblings inevitably had similarities.
Alessia calmly withdrew her gaze, pressed the floor button, and stood calmly on the other side.
What bad luck.
Three encounters in three days after returning to Toronto.
Fortunately, Christian and Eleanor weren't here this time.
...
Outside the Ritz Hotel, Toronto.
A taxi pulled over, and wearing matching light blue floral dress, Christian and Eleanor stepped out of the car one after the other with their little short legs.
"Chris, is this the hotel where the awards ceremony is being held? It looks so beautiful!"
Eleanor tilted her little head back, blinking her bright eyes full of curiosity as she gazed at the majestic hotel in front of her.
"Yeah, this is it. Let's go!" Christian's small face looked serious as he double-checked the address on the invitation, then made a sprinting gesture forward.
Hand in hand, the adorable sisters appeared in the hotel lobby, immediately attracting many admiring glances, with some even taking out their phones to record videos.
"Hello, Miss, my mommy said we shouldn't let people take pictures randomly! Can you please delete it?"
Christian protected her sister behind her, looking up with innocent eyes, making a harmless request.
Mom had warned a long time ago to be careful outside. Can't let strangers take pictures, as it could leak personal information and attract bad people!
"...Of course, cutie!"
The woman recording the video simply thought the sisters in front of her were cute and didn't think much of it. It was only when she heard Christian's polite voice that she realized it wasn't appropriate, promptly deleting the video in front of them.
"Thank you, My mommy wasn't lying to me. Beautiful person are not only beautiful but also kind-hearted!"
Christian's sweet words were followed by a tilt of his head as he asked in a babyish voice, "Miss, do you know how to get to the banquet hall for the fashion design awards?"
"Just go straight ahead, then turn left!" The woman's head was spinning from the barrage of sweet words, so she replied softly.
"Thank you, Miss. Love you!" With a polite thank you, Christian blew a small heart towards the woman before taking Eleanor's hand and leaving.
The woman stood in place, watching the backs of the two little ones as they left, her heart melting!
They are so beautiful, and their mouths are so sweet.
What kind of fairy parents could have raised such outstanding and adorable children?
"Jessie, as the organizer of the banquet, are you appropriate to be daydreaming here?"
As the woman sighed, she saw Bianca, dressed in a fiery red deep V-neck dress like a blooming rose, appear before her.
Bianca tilted her chin and looked commanding.
"It's a bit inappropriate. But Bianca, I just met a pair of super cute and super beautiful little babies here. I really want them to be the models for my next big show."
The woman didn't care at all about Bianca's spoiled tone, excitedly sharing her joy with both hands cupping her heart.
Bianca rolled her eyes disdainfully, arrogantly tapping her fingers.
"I'm not interested in those little brats."
Jessie paid no mind, intimately clasping her hand.
"Bianca, I know your nephew at home has tormented you to the point of trauma. But those two kids just now are really different. They seem to be here for the banquet too. They must have been brought by some guest. I'll point them out to you later!"
As Jessie pushed Bianca forward, she frowned and said, "I said I'm not interested. I heard that Al hasn't arrived yet. She's always low-key, probably won't come this time either. From now on, she's my only motivation. When I get the chance, I'll definitely have a good chat with her."
As they spoke, the two of them had already reached the entrance of the banquet hall.
Bianca looked at the receptionist girl standing at the door and asked, "Is Designer Elle here yet?"
The receptionist girl, recalling the tender face that had appeared before her just now, with a complex gaze, reluctantly replied, "Miss Elle has arrived!"
"That's great! Where is she? Take me to her!" Bianca's beautiful big eyes immediately lit up.
At this point, quite a few people had already taken their seats in the banquet hall.
Christian, from the guest table, had gone to the restroom, leaving only Eleanor sitting obediently in her designated seat.
The receptionist girl led Bianca and Jessie to where Eleanor was seated. Bracing herself, she introduced, "Miss Jessie, Miss Carter, this is Designer Elle!"
"Design... Designer Elle?"
Bianca stared at the young girl in front of her. She looked about the same age as her nephew, with delicate and beautiful features, like a doll-like little girl, inconceivably named Elle.
"Yes, Miss Carter. This little girl brought the invitation, which we sent to Miss Elle, and she also claims to be Designer Elle herself."
The receptionist girl was also feeling surreal. Initially, she had thought Eleanor was Designer Elle's daughter or relative, but she never expected her to be the designer herself.
The sense of surrealism wasn't limited to the receptionist girl; even Bianca and Jessie were stunned, their eyes almost falling to the ground.
