CEO's Genius Triplets

The Plan Changed

Ch. 78 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Suzy was constantly monitoring the situation on the Chelsea Creek side.

After learning that the Steele family knew about the existence of Alexander, her heart almost jumped out of her throat.

She was fully armed, wearing sunglasses, wrapping her head and neck tightly with a scarf, and putting on a tightly fitting windbreaker. She went to the agreed-upon location to meet with Tiger’s men.

"Alexander can't die."

Tiger, the boss, holding a charming beauty in his arms, heard her words and showed no annoyance.

"You're telling me now that Alexander can't die? My men have already dug the pit."

Suzy placed her luggage on the table, entered the password, and opened the suitcase.

A full box of money appeared in Tiger's sight.

Tiger's eyes lit up instantly, the impatience on his face vanished without a trace, and he smiled, "What do you want to do? Just tell me, and I'll do my best to help."

Suzy leaned down to Tiger's ear and quietly explained her plan.

Tiger nodded repeatedly.

The two quickly reached an agreement.

After settling everything, Suzy used an unregistered number to call Samantha.

"If you want to save Alexander, go to the abandoned warehouse in the western part of the city. If you don't make it within an hour, we'll kill Alexander."

To prevent Samantha from recognizing her voice, she deliberately altered her voice.

When Samantha received the call, she had just parked her car at the entrance of the residential area. Before she could figure things out, Suzy had already hung up.

When she tried to call back, it indicated that the number was switched off.

Without time to think further, Samantha immediately sent a message to Ethan.

[I just received a message from a stranger. They said Alexander is in an abandoned warehouse in the western suburbs. I'm going there now. Send someone to rescue Alexander.]

After sending the message, without waiting for Ethan's reply, she drove to the destination.

Suzy proudly took out and destroyed the SIM card.

Tiger looked at her and asked seriously, "This Alexander shouldn't have any significant background, right? I don't want my men to be implicated by me."

They always acted with great caution.

They would never provoke someone they couldn't afford to offend, especially the major families in England.

Those were people they couldn't afford to offend, and they kept a respectful distance.

If Alexander wasn't known to have no connection with the major families and if his mother wasn't a single parent with no background, Tiger wouldn't have taken on this business.

Suzy lowered her eyes guiltily. "Of course not, you can rest assured."

Only then did Tiger feel relieved and made a call to his subordinates.

At the same time,

Alexander was tied up and thrown onto the back seat of a van. Suddenly, a violent jolt caused Alexander's little head to hit the car door hard.

The impact woke him up from his drowsiness. Slowly opening his eyes, he realized he was in a cramped and dark space.

There seemed to be something stuffed in his mouth.

An invisible sense of fear enveloped him.

Forcing himself to calm down, he tried to recall.

He remembered that after learning he wasn't his mommy's biological son, unable to cope with the shock, he hid in a narrow alley to calm down.

Then, someone suddenly called his name.

Before he could see the person clearly, he was drugged and lost consciousness.

So, he had been kidnapped?

Who dared to kidnap him?

No, he had to find a way to escape.

If he didn't go home tonight, his mommy would worry.

Noah would worry too.

Just as he was thinking about how to escape, a series of cellphone ringtones suddenly sounded in the cramped compartment.

The man sitting in the passenger seat answered the call.

"Hello..."

Silence surrounded them as the voice from the other end of the phone resonated clearly through the receiver.

"There's a change of plans. Don't kill him. Take him to the abandoned warehouse in the western suburbs of the city. Remember, make sure he stays alive. He must not be harmed."

The man on the other end became anxious. "We've already dug the pit. Now you're telling me the plan has changed?"

Their original plan was to bury Alexander alive in a secluded forest.

The pit had already been prepared in advance.

Now they just had to bring him there.

Suddenly, the plan changed.

Didn't that mean everything they did before was in vain?

The impatient voice on the phone said, "Just go as planned. Remember, there will be two women arriving later. The first one is there to rescue him; you just need to deal with her lightly, letting her take him away. As for the second woman, find a way to frame her with the kidnapping charge."

The person answering the call was also impatient.

"Alright, alright, got it. We're changing the route now."

After saying that, he impatiently hung up and made an urgent U-turn ahead.

Their conversation was heard in its entirety by Alexander.

With a cunning turn of his eyes, he closed them again and pretended to be asleep.

An hour later,

The van stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse in the western suburbs of the city.

They carried Alexander into the warehouse and ruthlessly threw him to the ground.

Alexander, in pain, let out a muffled groan and slowly opened his eyes.

The two kidnappers, seeing him awake, were ready to strike him again.

Sensing their intention, Alexander forced himself to shed a few tears, blinked his innocent and harmless big eyes, and pitifully said, "Uncle, I'm hungry. Can you give me some food?"

The kidnappers were impatient. "There's no food. Going hungry for one night won't kill you."

Feeling wronged, Alexander said, "I have a severe stomach condition and low blood sugar. The doctor said I can't go hungry. If my blood sugar drops, I could die."

The kidnappers remained unmoved.

His life or death was inconsequential to them.

Alexander didn't insist and quietly shed tears, self-pitying. "Since you don’t have any food, then forget it. After all, I'm just a child abandoned in an orphanage by my parents. I was born rejected by my parents, disliked by everyone, bullied. Even the mother who adopted me torments me every day. I live a life worse than a dog. It's better to die and be done with it. Death would be a relief..."

After saying that, he began to sob softly.

"I miss my mommy and daddy so much. Although they abandoned me and didn't like me since I was little, I still want to see them before I die. At least I have a wish on the journey to the afterlife... Sob..."

Seeing him cry so miserably, the two kidnappers were inexplicably moved, and a sense of sympathy arose in their hearts, with moist eyes.

The slender one couldn't take it anymore, wiped his eyes, and said, "Alright, alright, stop crying. I have some bread in my car. I'll get it for you. It's not like you're about to die immediately."

After saying that, he turned and left with quick steps.

Before long, he came back, holding a loaf of bread in his hand.

Alexander immediately smiled happily, innocently saying, "Uncle, my hands are tied, and I can't eat. Can you feed me? I'm hungry!"

The slender one hesitated for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

He squatted down, tearing the bread into small pieces and feeding them into Alexander's mouth.

Alexander ate happily.

A satisfied smile appeared on his face, his little mouth looking as if covered in honey.

"Uncle, you're so nice. Your child must be very happy. I envy your child! If only I had such a good daddy."

As he spoke, a tinge of disappointment appeared in his eyes.

He lowered his eyelids and said sadly, "Unfortunately, my daddy doesn't like me. He threw me away right after I was born. To them, I'm just excess baggage, a burden that shouldn't have appeared in this world."

The slender one felt a strong sense of bitterness in his heart. His eyes welled up with tears again.

Unconsciously, images of the scene when Alexander was kidnapped appeared in his mind. Alexander was sitting alone in a dark alley, crying in sorrow.

How sad must a child be to hide in such a place and cry?

"Is your foster mother mistreating you? Is that why you were hiding in the alley, crying?" the kidnapper asked, thinking he was clever.

Alexander nodded vigorously along with his words.

"I accidentally broke a bowl, and she chased me for several blocks. If I hadn't hidden, I would have been beaten to death by now."

As he spoke, he silently apologized to Samantha in his heart. ‘Mommy, I didn't mean to speak ill of you. Please don't be angry. I'm just trying to protect myself.’

The slender kidnapper suddenly felt pity for him.

If his future child were treated like this, he would definitely have thoughts of killing the person responsible.

Looking at the hemp rope tied around Alexander, he suddenly felt sympathy, reaching out to untie the rope, but was stopped by the stout man next to him.

"His rope can't be untied."

The slender one argued, "He's only four years old. Are you saying that the two of us can't keep an eye on him? What are you worried about?"

The stout man felt he had a point.

After all, Alexander was only four years old. Could such a small child escape from their hands?

Binding such a young child with a thick hemp rope seemed quite pitiful.

Moreover, he was a child with such a pitiful background.
