A Slap From Justin

Ch. 107 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Ethan leaned down, his hand gripping her jaw, and the surroundings seemed to be enveloped in an icy tundra.

"If it weren't for you giving birth to two sons for me, do you think you'd still have the right to speak to me here?"

As he spoke, Suzy's body violently trembled. Her crying face was now smeared with makeup, black mascara and eyeliner smudged by tears, looking disgusting and pitiful.

Ethan disgustingly threw her away. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and carefully wiped his slender fingers, one by one, not missing even the gaps between them.

"Remember, don't touch Samantha in the future. Otherwise, I'll make sure you don't see the sun the next day."

After saying that, he threw the handkerchief onto Suzy's face and left without looking back.

Suzy was not reconciled. She crawled and clung to his legs from behind. Her crying was miserable and desolate.

"Why? Why are you treating me like this? What does Samantha have that is better than me? I've only had you as a man in my life, but she, she has been with countless men. Why do you still treasure her and ignore me?"

She couldn't understand what attracted Ethan to Samantha. Why could Samantha easily snatch Ethan away from her?

"One man? Suzy, if I have to make things clear, do you want me to list them one by one for you? I'm not interested in your private life, but don't treat me like a fool."

After speaking, he kicked her away harshly and walked away without turning back. His figure disappeared at the doorway. A cold voice faintly sounded. "From now on, Suzy Miller is prohibited from entering Chelsea Creek."

Hearing this, Suzy's body felt as if all strength had been drained, and she was filled with despair from head to toe.

She knew that she had no hope left with Ethan.

Now the only one who could save the Miller Group was Anna.

Anna and she shared a common enemy, and considering that she had given birth to two descendants for the Steele family, Anna would definitely not sit idly by.

Thinking of this, she ignored the pain in her chest, crawled up from the ground using both hands and feet, and stumbled towards the door.

Unfortunately, what she didn't expect was that Ethan not only prohibited her from entering Chelsea Creek freely, but she couldn't even enter the old Steele family mansion.

Her phone seemed to be blacklisted by Anna; calls couldn't get through, and messages couldn't be sent.

Unable to see Anna, she felt utterly hopeless.

A sense of despair permeated her entire being.

...

At the same time, completely unaware that her actions had been exposed, Karen leisurely applied a face mask at home.

Suddenly, Justin's call came in.

Seeing Justin's call, she was ecstatic, immediately answering and putting it to her ear, "Justin, why are you suddenly calling me?"

"Where are you now? I'm coming to see you."

Not detecting the low pressure in his voice, Karen thought that Justin had changed his mind and wanted to reconcile with her. She quickly replied, "I'm at home! Come to my place!"

"I'll be right there!"

After saying that, he hung up.

Karen immediately tore off the face mask, applied delicate makeup, and changed into the dress they had bought together last time. She twirled in front of the full-length mirror, satisfied only after several turns.

She always said that with her looks, she could never be inferior to Samantha.

Justin must have gone out for a stroll and found that she was better than Samantha, so he came specially to ask for a reconciliation.

Hmm!

Karen self-deceived and comforted herself.

Half an hour later, Justin arrived.

Karen eagerly opened the door. Before she could even get excited or clearly see Justin's face, he viciously slapped her.

SLAP!

With the crisp sound of a slap, a distinct five-finger mark appeared on Karen's fair face. The corner of her mouth was cut, and blood oozed out.

Karen covered her injured face, looking at Justin in disbelief.

"Justin, why... why did you hit me?"

Justin looked at her with heartache. "Karen, I never expected you to be like this! Stealing Samantha's design and giving it to Suzy, framing and deceiving Yurika. They are your best friends, why would you do such things?"

Karen denied without hesitation.

"I didn't! Justin, who is trying to sow discord between us? Please don't believe it. I've had a friendship with Yurika and Samantha for over ten years. Why would I do this?"

Justin didn't expect her to lie so brazenly. He took out his phone and found the recent live broadcast.

"Suzy, Samantha's design is done. She's out now; you should come quickly..."

"..."

Watching the live broadcast and hearing her conversation with Suzy, Karen's face turned increasingly pale.

It felt like being in Antarctica, with a chill spreading throughout her body.

"This, this..."

She wanted to make excuses.

But with the evidence and a real person in the video, she had no chance to defend herself.

Justin said disappointedly, "I really didn't expect that your friendship with Samantha for over ten years is less important to you than money. From now on, don't come looking for me. We're cutting off all ties."

After saying that, he turned to leave.

Karen knew that once Justin left, it meant they would never have any contact again.

She didn't want that.

In desperation, she grabbed Justin's hand.

"Justin, don't go, listen to my explanation. I..."

Justin felt her extremely filthy, and in the moment she grabbed him, he reflexively threw her away with force.

Karen was caught off guard, falling heavily to the ground. Her hands were scraped, and there was a distinct cracking sound, as if her wrist was dislocated, making her feel the intense pain, cold sweat streaming down.

Justin's eyes showed no sympathy, only disgust.

"At this point, what else can you explain? Regardless of the reason, it's not an excuse for betraying Samantha! Every moment I spend looking at you now makes me sick."

Karen's face turned deathly pale.

The fact that the gentle Justin could say such decisive words indicated that she had truly crossed his bottom line.

He would never forgive her again.

Thinking of this, tears streamed down her face. Her shoulders trembled.

"Justin, I did this because I really love you too much. I've liked you for over ten years. In the four years when Samantha was missing, I stayed by your side day and night. But you still didn't look at me. I felt uncomfortable and resentful, so I was blinded by jealousy, I..."

"What about Yurika? What did she do to offend you? Why did you frame and deceive her?"

"I... I..."

Justin impatiently interrupted her, "Stop trying to be clever! All those malicious words you said are imprinted in my mind. You're truly frightening. Clearly, you hate Samantha so much, yet you can disguise it so well!"

After speaking, he turned to leave but encountered Samantha and Yurika, who were returning to pack their things at the door.
