SOPHIA'S POV
"Why on earth do you have finger prints on your left cheek?" My cousin, Seven, asks concerned the moment I step into his office. Without uttering a word, I walk over to him and hug him tight as I burst into tears.
I just made the biggest mistake of my life.
"Sophia" He calls softly. "It's okay sugar, calm down" He coos as he gently rubs my back. "Come on, let's seat down" He leads me to the sitting area and we both sit on the couch. "What's wrong Sophia" He asks worried.
"I've fucked up big time seven" I say between sobs.
"What did you do?"
"I attacked Luna. I...I... we...we bumped..." I stutter as I try to catch my breath. "We bumped into each other in the restroom at the mall and I couldn't control my anger, so... so ... I hit her and then... and then I threw her to the floor. I hurt her seven and I know she's going to tell Ace " I narrate as I cry harder. "Ace is going to cancel the wedding!"
"Oh Sophia, come here" Seven takes me into his arms and cradles me. "That was very wrong of you"
"I know, I... I ... just couldn't control myself and now I'm going lose him" I cry harder.
"I don't think he will if you report yourself to him and apologize."
"You think so?" I ask giving him a hopeful glance.
Right now I would do anything to lake Ace pardon me. Even if it means kneeling before Luna and asking for her forgiveness.
"Yes, I think so. Just go over to Ace's place tonight and try to explain things to him. You are still his fiancé, he's going to hear you out"
"Well that's if Asher doesn't get me arrested already"
"Tss... that's an issue too, but not to worry, you're still Ace Damon's fiancé, he is a very powerful man in this country, Asher won't do anything to you without consulting him first"
"Let's only hope he doesn't"
"Asher wont, so what about the pregnancy plan?"
"Don't even go there" I say wiping my tears away.
"What happened?"
"Ace has refused to get me pregnant, he claims he can't have two pregnant woman to deal with else he'll lose his mind"
"That scheming wizard, regardless of that, you can't give up. Even if it means seducing him you have to, especially now that you've hurt Luna, this will be the perfect excuse for him to use to get rid of you, you also need to find the perfect excuse to get him hooked and that has to be done now and fast!"
"Do you really think Ace is such an easy man? Seduction won't work on him"
"You're his girl right? So why wont it work? Just try and if it still doesn't work, let me know and we'll find another way to sort it out, but you have to get pregnant sooner or later, else Luna will win this fight" He says and I burst into tears again.
"She can't win, she just can't win"
"I really wish I could help, but I've been restricted from going near Luna"
"Don't get yourself into trouble by trying to approach her, I'm going handle this. Luna won't take Ace away from me, that I swear!"
And I mean it.
I'll do all I can to win Ace back.
ACE'S POV
I stand by the porch exhilarated, waiting for Alora and Luna to arrive. I was beyond shocked when she called earlier today to tell me that she wanted to spend the night at my place. I was so excited that I didn't even realize when my reply escaped from my mouth. I can't believe she is actually coming over to spend the night. I have instructed my cook to prepare the best dinner meal and dessert for a pregnant woman.
This is what I have always wanted, I have ever since I found out about her pregnancy, I have always wanted her to spend the night with me so I would cuddle in my arms all night. And finally this is it about to happen. It's like a dream come true.
A white Rolls-Royce drives into compound and my heart starts hammering in my chest. The feeling I have right now is a different kind of feeling. I have never felt this way for a girl before, not even Sophia. My legs feel like Jelly and I can actually feel the butterflies rising in my stomach.
I feel like a sixteen year old who has just laid eyes on his crush. I feel super excited! The Rolls-Royce pulls up in front of me and the two girls step out.
My eyes widen the moment I see Luna, she looks ravishing in the long night blue gown she has on.
"Hey" she greets as she gets into my outstretched arms and I engulf her in a gentle, warm hug and kiss her hair. I can't wait to have her in my arms like this all night.
"Hey baby, how are you doing?"
"I'm doing okay"
"The famous Ace Damon. Pleasure to meet you" Alora says extending her hand for a hand shake.
"Same here Alora. Thank you for bringing Luna over"
"Anytime"
"Let me have that" I take the bag Luna is carrying as I wrap a protective arm around her waist.
"I'll take my leave now" Alora announces as she opens the driver seat door of the car.
"I'll miss you Alora" Luna says as she goes to hug her.
"I'll miss you too and don't forget to take your medicine"
"I won't"
"Good, and Ace, take good care of her. A single hair goes missing from her head and you are dead meat" She warns.
"I quiver in fear!" I mock.
"You very well know what will happen when Asher gets involved"
"Oh, now that got me"
"Good, so you better behave"
"I promise to take good care of her"
"That sounds more like it now. Good night both of you"
"Good night and drive safely"
"I will" she gets into her car and drives away.
"Let's go..." I notice finger prints on her left cheek.
"Are those... finger prints on your left cheek?" I ask as I raise my hand to touch her left cheek but she moves away.
"Let's go in" She quickly dismisses the topic.
"Luna..."
" I'm freezing out here" she says in a whisper.
"This topic has not been dismissed" I say as we walk to the door where I type my security code and when the door open up, we both walk in and I close the door.
"Whoa!" Luna explains as she walks further into the living room. "Your house is magnificent!" She says as tums to look at me and I keep on my poker face. She's trying to dismiss the topic about the fingerprints on her face, but I'm not going to let it go.
And it had better not be what I have on my mind. It had better not be.
"Ace.... I promise it's nothing to be worried about"
"I'm afraid it is. Finger prints can't just appear on your cheeks, you got hit buy someone, didn't you?"
"Ace...."
"Was it Sophia?"
"Ace...."
"Dang it! I knew I knew it must be her!" I say bitterly. "How did you two even meet"
"You really don't have to be so worked up, it's okay"
"No it's not!, you've got finger prints all over your left cheek and something tells me that she did more than just this. Luna what exactly did Sophia do to you?" I ask worried and she rolls her eyes.
I hate it when she rolls her eyes at me.
"It was nothing too serious, Alora got in before things could get to the next level, Ace I promise it's okay"
"Ace, I can explain" Sophia says the moment she steps into the living room.
" They say speak off the devil and he will appear"
"Ace please" Luna pleads as she holds my arm.
"Sophia can..." I notice fingerprints on Sophia's cheek too. "Oh ...You've got your own fingerprints too, it was a fair fight oater all"
"See, told you it was nothing big!"
"Who started this fight?" I ask looking at both of them and , they exchange hateful glances.
Women and their temper.
"Answer me both of you!" I scold and they both jump in fright.
"Sophia did" Luna reports.
"I though as much" I say with my gazed focused on Sophia. "It always has to be you"
"Ace I ..." She starts to talk but I cut her off.
"Not now Sophia, we'll have this talk some other time, for now you have to leave before I loose my temper"
"I am your fiancé!"
"Doesn't matter, I want to leave right now"
"I'm your fiancé Ace, you're supposed to choose me, not her!" She screams as angrily throws her purse at Sophia.
This girl is crazy.
"That's it, you're time is up" I pick up the purse and give to her "I don't want to shove you out of here Sophia, please behave yourself and just leave, we'll talk some other time" I plead hoping that she complies.
"This isn't over Luna, I swear I'll make you pay!" She swears as she storms out of the house. I turn to look at Luna and she bows her head down and plays with her fingers.
"I didn't know you were fierce"
"If you're talking about those fingerprints on Sophia's jaw, I didn't do it"
"Then who did?"
"Alora, I'm lucky she came in on time. I would've been dead by now"
"Baby" He calls as he walks closer to me. "I think I'll got you body guards, we can't afford to let this happen again."
"I don't want body guards" She says almost in tears.
She always has her way with me tears and puppy eyes, but not this time around. She needs protection.
"That's not an option now, I'm hiring body guards for you. Please let's not fight about this"
"I can't change your mind, can I?"
"No you can't " I say as I walk close to her, very close. My heart starts beating abnormally again and I still can't believe that she is actually here, standing before me. "I can't believe you're actually here standing before me"
"You've got to believe."
"Come here "I draw into my arms "I can't wait to cuddle you all night in my arms. I hope you came prepared"
"Of course I did"
"Good then, let me show to my bedroom"
"Okay" I lead her up the stairs to my bedroom.
