Harmony
We spend Thursday and Friday sightseeing in New York. We also shop, eat at stupidly expensive restaurants, and we make each other cum in public places.
But we haven’t had sex again.
We visit both the properties Jaheim was thinking of purchasing, but he only buys one of those. We see a last-minute house in Brooklyn, though, and he bought that one instead.
The topic of my free schools came up on the drive back to the hotel, and after making me explain the situation in Michigan to him, he spoke to the agent on the phone and managed to make progress on the purchase agreement for me. It should be all wrapped up by next week now. He suggested we opened another one in Canada, too, so I can see it prosper. I thought it was a great idea and then gave him head while he drove, as a thank you.
That was another first for him.
Now it's Saturday and Jaheim’s been unusually quiet since we woke up. We're in Westway Diner having breakfast and he seems miles away.
“What’s wrong?” I ask for the millionth time.
He looks up from his half-eaten ribeye and eggs. “You sure you wanna go tonight?”
I frown. That’s the last thing I expected him to say. “Yeah, course. Why wouldn't I?”
“Because...”
I rest my fork down. “Because...?”
He stays quiet and I push him to answer. “I don't want you to think I'm fucked up.”
What the fuck? “Are you serious?”
A wave of silence falls over the diner and I look around to glare at the eyes that surround us. “Excuse you.” I swirl my finger in the air, signalling them to turn the fuck around and mind their own damn business.
“Harmony,” Jaheim starts, but then he looks behind me as a server approaches our table.
“Good, I'm glad you're here,” I say to him. “I need the bill now. Thanks.”
He scuttles off, probably glad we’re leaving.
“Princess—”
“Not here. We're leaving and we'll talk.” He blinks. “I'm not mad with you,” I add. “I'm just pissed off with all these nosy fuckers in here.” And I'm upset that he'd think that. It's almost one o’clock now which means he's been obsessing over this shit for hours. I hate that.
The server returns and Jaheim tries to pay, but I shut that shit down straight away, giving him a look before I hand the guy my card.
We make the walk back to the hotel hand in hand but in silence. I wanted to wait until we got back to the suite, but as soon as the elevator doors close, I can't hold it anymore.
“Why? Why would you think that?”
“Because it ain't normal, is it? When you see what—”
I snort a laugh, I can't help it. “Please explain your definition of normal to me, Boo, cuz I'm pretty sure a lot of people would say what we are is far from normal.”
His eyes narrow. “That's different.”
“Why is it?”
“Because we were born like it.”
“Oh, that makes it okay then.” I roll my eyes as the door opens and then drag him back to the suite. “Why did you ask me if you felt like this?”
He stabs his fingers through his hair. “I didn’t, not then, but now I've thought about it—”
I gape at him. “What? You're embarrassed?”
“I don't know, Harmony. I mean, the shit that happens there—”
“Is kinky as fuck? Yeah, I gathered that. Fuck being embarrassed. It helped you control what you are, Jaheim. Enabled you to live a life as normal as possible. You ain’t got shit to feel ashamed about. Hell, it was better than outing the whole of our kind, wasn’t it?”
“I suppose so.”
I grab his hand. “You need to stop worrying. I don't give a fuck about all that. All I care about is that you made it eight years till now and found your way to me. Okay?”
He sighs again. “Alright.”
“I mean it, Boo. Fucking stop. I love you because of who you are, and that is cuz of what you've been through.” I step closer so I can hold him. “You're worrying about the wrong things. What you need to be concerned about is what I'm gonna wear. Is there a dress code?”
“Yeah, there is. Your outfit should be here soon.”
“Ohhh, so you still got me something, huh?”
I feel him shake his head. “I did. We have to wear masks, too. My assistant Janelle is having everything sent over later.”
I pull out of his arms. “Masks?”
He nods. “Unless you go in a couple, no one is to know who you are.”
“Wow...”
He nods. “The events are anonymous.”
“Ohhh, so you don't get Harold coming up to you in Walmart, asking if it was you whipping the shit out of that schoolgirl last week, huh?”
That makes him laugh. “Something like that.”
“Well, I'm excited. I wanna see all that shit.”
His eyes light up. “Really now.”
“Yeah. What time we gotta leave?”
“Around eight.”
“So what you wanna do until then?” Fuck me…
He walks further into the suite and I follow him. “I gotta work for a little while; sort out the paperwork for these new properties. Why don't you go down to the spa? Prepare your body for tonight.”
My eyes widen. “Prepare, yeah?”
He turns around and smirks. “That's what I said.” He kisses my forehead and slaps my ass at the same time. “Charge it to the room, Harmony. I might've let you get away with that shit once, but not again.
I roll my eyes.

I return to the suite three hours later, feeling like I'm floating on a cloud. My hair and nails are done, my body’s been waxed everywhere, and I smell like one of my Aunt Cecile’s vanilla cream pies.
This bitch is looking and smelling good right about now.
I find Jaheim in the front room, sitting on the couch and typing on his Mac. He looks up and smiles. “I smelt you coming a mile away. You smell good enough to eat.”
I smile. “Why, thank you.”
“You look beautiful and refreshed.” He's suddenly in front of me and then his tongue is deep in my mouth. “I missed you,” he says when his lips leave mine.
I gotta catch my breath before I can speak. “I missed you.”
He sweeps his tongue slowly over my neck... “Mmm... Did you have a nice time?”
I hold his shoulders and sigh. “Yeah… I thought I'd make good use of the amenities.”
He chuckles and pulls away from me. “Good. Come with me. Your dress is here.”
I try not to be disappointed when he takes my hand and leads me to the bedroom. I hope he’s gonna fuck me tonight, that’s all I can say. I look at the closet door and see a gold dress hanging there. It's full-length and covered in sequins. Black shoes are sitting on the floor below it, and two small boxes rest on the bed.
“I love it.” I look beside it to Jaheim’s designer suit that has a matching tie. “I love your suit, too.”
“It's formal attire only. We won't stay too long. The event goes on all night.”
“Whatever you want.” I walk over to the bed and sit down beside the boxes. “Are these our masks?”
“They are.”
I reach to open one, but he stops me and then I'm beneath him. “No peeking.”
I pout. “Ohhh...”
He smiles and wedges his knee between my thighs, making me gasp. “You make the sexiest sounds when I touch you.”
I run my fingers through his hair, down to his neck. “I’d make better ones if you fucked me.”
He growls and I smile up at him. “I'll bury myself inside you soon enough...” He feels for my breast and tweaks my nipple through my sweater and bra.
I whimper. “Now?”
“Soon.”
“Ugh... So we're back to so—”
He kisses me and I'm borderline desperate to cum when he gets off me. “Don't look so disappointed. It's all part of the experience, Princess. I need you ready and wanting.”
“I’m ready and wanting now.” I sit up, practically sulking.
His eyes flash with something. “You're ready when I say you are. Don’t make yourself cum. I’ll order us some food.”
He leaves the room and I'm left to sulk on the bed, food the last thing from my mind.
