Alpha's Wife Hunt

Chapter 690

Ch. 690 / 840 May 06, 2026

Third person's POV

The one who kicked the door in was none other than Forrest.

Gone was the simple and honest demeanor he displayed in front of Tabitha and Ayla; even the mask on his face had changed to one featuring a fierce demon totem.

Standing there with the sea breeze at his back, he exuded a strong and imposing presence.

"Bingo, you got it. We're here for you," Forrest declared loudly.

Matilda roared in anger, "Who are you? Do you know where you are? How dare you act so recklessly on this ship?"

As she spoke, Matilda quickly pressed the alarm button. All the enforcers, upon hearing the alarm, rushed out with their weapons at the ready.

Matilda seemed not to fully grasp the gravity of the situation, still snarling viciously, "Do you know what happened to the last person who acted out on this ship? They were minced and fed to the fish."

At that moment, the personnel from the helicopters descended onto various decks in an orderly fashion along the ropes.

Dressed in bulletproof vests, wearing explosive-proof helmets, armed, and with heavy military boots thudding on the deck, they exuded a strong sense of oppression.

Most of Matilda's enforcers were ruthless outlaws. Their desperate fighting style might easily overpower ordinary opponents.

However, when facing a professional mercenary group, they were no match and were defeated in just a few moves.

In an instant, the ship was filled with the sounds of gunfire, screams, and fighting, creating chaos.

Seeing the situation was unfavorable, Matilda attempted to flee, but Forrest was prepared. He had already ordered all exits to be sealed tight, with people stationed outside every window as well.

"Ms. Vorn, please," Forrest stood at the door, speaking coldly.

"What do you want to do? Do you know whose territory this is?" Matilda blustered with an undertone of fear.

Forrest sneered disdainfully, "It doesn't matter. Go ahead."

Then, the mercenaries, like wolves among sheep, began their "game".

For the rooms engaged in illicit transactions, they kicked down doors and shouted, "Everyone put your hands up and squat against the wall with your heads covered."

The men and women inside the rooms, confused about what was happening, complied without question.

But soon, they realized they were at sea, and no police would come.

Upon closer inspection, they noticed the intruders were not in police uniforms but in the camouflage of mercenaries.

"Who the fuck are you?" questioned a portly man, "Who sent you here?"

However, no one answered him. The mercenaries just took out their cameras and started snapping photos.

There were also troublemakers like Rolf, who barged into rooms in the midst of passion, checked his wristwatch with feigned seriousness, and teased, "Dude, you're not cutting it, over in a minute."

"Ah!" Alvin, passing by, slapped the back of Rolf's head, scolding, "Get to work! Stop gawking!"

"Alright," Rolf shrugged helplessly, took photos of the couple, and even cheekily made a victory sign.

Of course, his face was fully covered, so no one could recognize him.

Extensive photography and evidence collection began in all areas. These photos would serve as evidence.

In this way, even if these people wanted to deal with Derek in the future, Derek would have leverage over them.

Rolf was in high spirits, having been restrained by Derek for so long from causing trouble.

Tonight, they were no longer keeping a low profile.

"Guys, let's have a blast," Rolf shouted excitedly.

Especially after learning that the ship's owner was Derek's rival, who deliberately set a trap for Derek, Rolf felt even more unrestrained.

Seeing the expensive porcelain decorations, he smashed them without hesitation.

For those that couldn't be smashed, he would scratch them with a knife.

Their behavior was akin to the unrestrained and destructive actions of barbaric invaders, without any limits or restraint.

They jumped around the ship, committing all sorts of misdeeds, except for harming people.

If Tabitha were to witness this scene, she would definitely consider them the real pirates.

Ayla was awakened by the noise outside and fearfully asked, "What's that noise?"

Forrest gently reassured her, "Don't be afraid, Ayla. It's just some drunkards causing a ruckus. It will be over soon."

"Where's mommy..." Ayla worriedly said.

"Rest assured. With Wilmot there, she will be fine," Forrest patiently explained.

The area around Tabitha's room was tightly guarded. Not even a mosquito could get through.

Tonight was destined to be a noisy and restless night.
