Tony approached the housekeeping staff as soon as he noticed her walking towards him from the opposite direction.
"Hello! Could you please open the door for me?" Tony inquired.
The housekeeping staff glanced at him. "Don't you have your key card?"
"I was in a rush when I left, so I forgot to bring it. I believe my sister is currently taking a shower and cannot hear me. Could you assist me?" Tony asked sincerely.
Being a child, Tony had the advantage of not arousing suspicion. "Which room are you staying in?" the housekeeping staff asked without hesitation.
"1209!" Tony pointed towards the room and replied.
The housekeeping staff smiled and nodded before heading towards the room. "Is this the one?" Tony nodded in confirmation.
Efficiently utilizing his access card, the housekeeping staff opened the door for Tony. "There you go." "Thank you."
"You're welcome." With that, the housekeeping staff left with their cart.
After ensuring that the housekeeping staff had left, Tony turned towards the door and entered the room.
The room was spacious, and as Tony entered, he noticed that no one else was present. This place looks just like before.
Scaning his surroundings, Tony determined that Thalia must be showering in the bathroom. He casually walked towards the couch and waited.
While waiting, Tony noticed some snacks on the table and decided to help himself. After a while, the bathroom door opened, revealing Thalia walking out.
Startled, Thalia jumped upon turning around and seeing someone sitting on the couch. Nonchalantly chewing his snacks, Tony smiled and asked, "Are you done showering?"
Thalia, still in her pajamas with wet hair, was initially shocked to see Tony there. However, she quickly composed herself.
She walked towards him, sat on the couch, and crossed her legs. "Why are you here?" she inquired. "Well, you're here, aren't you? Why can't I be here?" Tony replied.
Thalia glanced at him, then at the watch she had left on the table. Tony understood her train of thought and said, "There's no need to check the time. I found you without using the GPS tracker. It wasn't my means of locating you."
Thalia turned her attention back towards him and asked, "Then how did you find me?" Tony responded, "Would you believe me if I said it was my intuition?"
"What do you think?"
Observing Thalia's serious expression, Tony frowned. "Thalia, you're upset with Spencer, not me. Why did you keep me in the dark?"
Thalia looked away. "Who said I'm angry at him?"
"While I don't know the reason, I am certain that you are." Thalia denied it, "I'm not."
"Alright, if you say so. But if you're not angry at him, why did you leave without a word?" Tony inquired. Thalia replied, "I have personal matters to attend to."
Aware of her stubborn nature, Tony knew how difficult it was to persuade her. "So you're not planning to take us back to Darknetz?"
"I still have something else to deal with. Someone else will be responsible for taking you back," Thalia responded while still facing away.
"I'll only return if you bring me back!" Tony exclaimed. "You can do whatever you want!"
Thalia's indifference at that moment began to concern Tony.
"What's the matter with you, Thalia?" Tony furrowed his brows. "Nothing! I'm done playing. That's all! I don't want to play anymore!" Thalia retorted. "Play? Who are you referring to?" Tony asked.
Thalia raised her head to look at Tony, but she chose not to voice her harsh thoughts. "It's getting late. You should leave." Thalia made it clear she wanted Tony to go.
However, Tony had no intention of leaving. "I'm not leaving until you tell me what's happening!"
Thalia's face briefly displayed displeasure. After a moment, she nodded and said, "Fine! If you won't leave, then I will!"
She stood up and began gathering her belongings.
"Thalia, if I can track you down and find you here, what makes you believe you can hide?" Tony questioned. "I'll simply leave and go somewhere far away. That should solve everything, right?" Thalia replied.
Tony furrowed his brows. "Are you serious, Thalia?"
"Do I appear to be joking?"
"Thalia, are you really willing to abandon everything because of Spencer?" Tony asked.
"Yes!" Thalia asserted.
"Are you willing to disregard our relationship as well?" Tony inquired.
Thalia hesitated momentarily, looking into Tony's eyes. "Tony, I've been feeling overwhelmed for a while now. We'll talk about it after Sam brings you back to Darknetz."
Tony immediately detected a change in Thalia's tone. I knew it! She was just pretending. "Thalia, are you facing any difficulties?" Tony asked.
"I'm not," Thalia swiftly responded.
Tony studied her for a moment before saying, "No. I know you are." Thalia was caught off guard.
"I know you're keeping something from me," Tony added.
Thalia briefly panicked, then forced a mocking smile. "Tony, don't you think you're too self-assured? What? Do you believe you're a god? Do you think you know everything?"
Thalia's words were harsh and dripped with sarcasm.
Being only a child, Tony felt her words pierce his heart like daggers, leaving him feeling humiliated.
"I admit that when I first met you guys, it felt refreshing. I also acknowledge your skills with computers, but there's nothing more to you. Wake up, stop being so presumptuous, and stop pretending to understand me!" Thalia continued.
Tony could only gaze into her eyes in response.
After a while, he asked, "Do you truly mean what you said?"
