Twin Sister STOLE My Billionaire Fiance

Fury

Ch. 18 / 21 Aug 12, 2025

Violet did not know what to do

She regretted not having spoken up sooner. After all, she had tried to tell Sandra that the person she was mixing her up with was her identical twin but she may not have heard or had not believed her, thinking it was another way she was hedging taking responsibility for her actions.

She thought of going after Damien but she did not know where he could have gone to. Then she recalled where he had told her that he goes to when he was very happy or very sad and was happy as she ran up the stairs to her office to pick her bag and go after him but as she got into the office, she thought that it might not be a good idea. He might still be very hurt. And would not want to listen.

Maybe I should give him time to calm down, she thought and sat on her chair, placing her head in her hands.

How could Viola do that? The picture was clearly that of Viola. Violet knew that she had not seen her twin for over ten years but since they were identical and she lived in the heart of London with their mum, coupled with the fact that the name mentioned was Viola, and she was definitely not the person in that picture, it was most certainly then, her twin.

For the first time, she was angry at such a callous behaviour. But could Viola had married the Raymond guy? She had not heard of any weddings. Surely, if they had indeed married, her mother would have intimated her father who would have told her?

She was mad with her father for allowing her mother leave. She was mad with her mother for abandoning her and not thinking she was worth checking up on. She could not swallow her ego to come see her daughter. She was mad with her twin for being so unfeeling and inconsiderate and making a fellow woman go through such a terrible phase. She was angry with herself for trying to be loyal to a sister who was obviously selfish and most probably disloyal and Damien? She was really mad at him for doubting her.

She decided that she was not going to go after him anymore. She would not even broach the topic with him anymore. How could he not have wanted to listen to her own side of it? How could he have believed the evidence of his own eye without giving her any benefit of doubt?

Okay, so maybe the likeness was indisputable which was understandable considering their identical nature but she had expected him to have had more faith in her but she guessed it was too much to ask.

She had gone to him still a virgin, then how could she possibly have had any dealings with another man?

She got home that day, very tired and still very angry. Damien had not called and she was not going to call him.

'What is the problem, love', her father asked her when he got back and found her in a moody disposition.

'Nothing', she said curtly.

'You are not a very good liar and anyway, I know you very well to know when there is something bothering you', he smiled at her. 'Tell me what it is. A problem shared is already half solved, you know. Is it Damien? Did you have a row with him?'

Violet kept quiet. She could not understand why her father should immediately know that the reason for her moody state was Damien. Was she that transparent?

'Is it really that obvious?' she asked.

'You mean your anger?' he teased.

'No, I mean that Damien is responsible?'

'No one else could make you that angry, you know. That is what love does. Now tell me what he did to make you this mad'.

By the time Violet had finished telling her father all that had transpired, her father looked very sad.

'Your sister had always been very selfish', he said and at Violet's astonished look, continued. 'She always took all your toys and never shared hers with you but you would not stop giving her your things anyway. I thought she would outgrow it but I was obviously wrong. Living with your equally selfish mother could not have helped at all. Explain to Damien. I'm sure he will understand'.

'I shan't dad. If he cannot trust me at this early stage, then there is no hope of us making good marital partners'.

'Do not make hasty decisions. Just take it easy. If you won't explain things to him, then just be calm and give him space and I assure you, he will come to his senses and back to you'.

Violet hoped so. She was already missing him terribly and had almost taken the phone several times but told herself she had to be strong and do this because it was for both their good. It would teach the both of them to trust each other more in the future.

'Thank you dad, for understanding', she said hugging her father who blinked back tears. He had known that her twin was bad but had not known that she was as bad as that. He wanted Violet to settle down fast. He was beginning to have a bad feeling about the safety of his beloved Violet.

What if Viola committed a worse crime and Violet was made to pay dearly for it? What happened today would then be child's play. He knew also that Viola would have no remorse that her sister Violet was paying for her crimes and that hot Jeremy bothered.

'But Dad, why can we not go visit them or extend an invitation to them? Surely they will come visit us if we ask them?' Violet asked.

Jeremy sighed. This was exactly what he was afraid of. But for how long would he keep the sisters away from each other? All his effort to keep them apart hadn't stopped Violet from being mistaken for Viola.

It just might be true that running from something rather than facing them squarely might only cause the person to run toward what he had thought he was fleeing from.

'We shall see about that's, her father promised.

Violet was surprised and looked at her father to be sure she heard him right.

'I am not kidding dad', she said not daring to hope.

'And neither am I. I shall see what I can do and then we shall how it goes'.

Violet kissed her thanks, wiping tears of joy from her eyes.
