The Rebirth of My Dead Billionaire Wife

Chapter 259

Ch. 259 / 300 Apr 25, 2026

Avery sat at the edge of her bed, her mind racing with possibilities. She twirled a pen between her fingers, staring at the blank notepad on her lap.

“How do I tell him?” she murmured to herself, tapping the pen against her chin. “This isn’t just any news. It has to be special.”

Ryan Hayes was the love of her life, and she knew he would be thrilled to hear he was going to be a father. But the pressure to make the moment perfect was overwhelming.

Her notepad was filled with half-formed ideas.

• A fancy dinner with a custom dessert?

• A gift box with baby-related items?

• A scavenger hunt around the house?

None of it felt quite right.

Deciding she needed inspiration, Avery grabbed her bag and headed out. Her first stop was a quaint baby boutique she’d passed by many times but had never had a reason to enter—until now.

The shop was a dream, with pastel walls and rows of tiny clothes, plush toys, and nursery decorations. Avery’s heart melted as she picked up a tiny pair of baby shoes.

“These are adorable,” she whispered, running her fingers over the soft fabric.

A cheerful shop assistant approached her, noticing the awe on Avery’s face. “First time shopping for a little one?”

Avery nodded, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Yes, I’m trying to find a creative way to tell my partner that we’re having a baby.”

The assistant’s face lit up. “Oh, that’s so exciting! We have a few gift sets that might be perfect for something like this.”

She led Avery to a display filled with themed boxes. One caught Avery’s eye: a white box labeled “Hello, Daddy!” Inside were a tiny onesie with the words “Daddy’s MVP” printed on it, a small teddy bear, and a card that read, “The adventure begins.”

“This is so cute,” Avery said, holding up the box.

“It’s one of our best sellers,” the assistant said. “Simple, but meaningful.”

Avery nodded but hesitated. “I’ll think about it,” she said, setting the box down. “I just want to make sure it’s the right fit.”

As she walked down the street, another idea struck her: a cake. A custom dessert with a surprise message inside.

She stepped into a boutique bakery known for its artistic designs. The smell of sugar and vanilla filled the air as she approached the counter.

“Hi,” she said to the baker, a kind-looking woman with flour-dusted hands. “I’d like to order a cake, but it’s for a special occasion. I want it to reveal that my partner and I are having a baby.”

The baker’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Oh, I love doing reveal cakes! What do you have in mind?”

Avery thought for a moment. “Maybe something elegant on the outside, but when we cut into it, the inside could have blue and pink layers? And the top could say something like, ‘We’re Expecting!’”

“That sounds beautiful,” the baker said, jotting down notes. “We can add little edible baby shoes or rattles as decorations, too, if you’d like.”

Avery smiled, already picturing Ryan’s face when he saw it. “Let’s do it.”
