I look at the woman next to me on the bed, she has
been convulsioning and sweating too much as her body tries to adjust to what's going to be ber new normal.
" You were always so innocent, Aviana,"I caress her hair softly, her eyes are fixed up on the ceiling, they keep changing from jade to a darker forest green as she shakes virgorously.
Ava was innocent, she still is and I hate myself for changing her, now if she survives the transition, she will be reborn as a wolf.
I had no choice, she was dying and I couldn't let it happen.
It's against the law, I know but my mate will come first, the law the damned.
A small smiles makes it's way to my lips as memories of us replay in my head.
She's fragile but thinks she's strong.
She makes me want to be a better man, I want to be better so I should be more deserving of her, to be worthy of her love.
She has been in this state for days now, why is the transformation taking so bloody long.
" Dada," I turn and look at the small girl on the door, she's so little in her small dress. She looks like me and her mother.
I watch her careful walk towards me, looking very curious with Julian following closely behind.
" Come, juju," she motions for her cousin to come close too. Julian watches, he's Xavier's cabon copy.
My daughter pulls my shirt and I bend down to pick her in my arms.
But my nephew moves closer to Ava.
" Julian," I warn him, but he nephew just grins going to my now sleeping mate.
" Dad, Lian has got super powers," she whispers in my ear. I look at her confused
" Why are we whispering?" I ask in the same tone.
She shrugs with the cutest smile, I watch as Julian touch Aviana and a white halo rushes through the room. Suddenly she stops shaking and Julian looks at us with a satisfied sigh.
I put my daughter down.
" I told you she'll be okay, I'm your hero," Boast Julian, my daughter smiles and i ruffle Julian's hair.

Julian's touch seemed to have eased her alot, I have to remember to give him a toy. I look at my woman once more, she looks so pale and a glist of sweat on her forehead, she coughs and I immediately rush to her side, she opens her eyes slowly but she still seems in a hazy.
" Hey, wifey," I joke, she smiles pained and chuckles. Raising her hand to touch my cheek softly.
" You said, you loved," she whispers, her voice is weak and she looks tired. I nod .
" When did you know?" She asks, caressing my jaw with her fingers softly
" The truth is that I don't know how, or when," I answer her honestly, what I feel for her is unexplainable, it's beautiful and sweet just like her, my Ava, my mate. It's her fragile strength, her beauty and most of all her soul I adore. She nods putting her hand down then take it to her neck.
" I'm so sorry love," I know she loved being human, it's what made her different, such a frail thing holding her own against powerful supernatural creatures.
" Nik, what is that?" She asks, looking panicked and jumping out of bed. She looks around the room, holding her hair.
" Stop, stop," She chants, holding her head as she sits on the floor. I try to calm her but she's hysterical, shaking her head and saying stop.
" Ava, it's your wolf!" I growl, she snaps out of it as she looks at me shocked.
" What.. what do you mean," she says as she pulls away from me.
Suddenly she screams again.
" Make it stop," she cries, her wolf is taking control.
I growl, she visibly whimpers
" Stop, don't take control," I release my alpha aura and she trembles, bowing low. I hate myself for this but I'm alpha and it's the only way she can listen.
Ava hugs her legs and buries her face into her lap
" Leave, please," she cries. I hold her but she revolts me " I need some time,"

"Its normal Nik, she's adjusting and it's scary, " transition is never easy, I nod look at my sister. She invited me for lunch at her resort, I refused but she used her authority as city Luna. I sigh, Ava has been pushing me away and I don't like it, she locks herself in the room all day.
"Why is she pushing me away?"
"She's just scared you don't feel the same way about her anymore, so she think she's making it easier for, trust me I know how she feels," She explains, why would she think that? She thinks I don't like this part of her? I love every part of her.
" Why would she even think that, she's my woman," I say, Xavier laughs and I growl at him
" Now, she's your woman?" He asks, I glare at him.
" Baby, enough now. Don't tease,"
Aurora tells Xavier. He smiles at me and she continues
" What attracted you more to Aviana was her humanity, that she was human," I sigh looking at Aurora, I know, she was so fragile yet strong and resilient but I love her, human or werewolf. What I know is that I love her more now.
"When I was in transition to hybrid, I had my entire coven with me, I had their love and support yet I felt so scared that things will change for worst, what I feared most was that my mate will stop loving me." She continues, Xavier places a kiss on her neck and I roll my eyes, show off.
Getting home I go straight to her door, I listen for her heartbeat, it's stronger and faster than ever. Knowing she won't open the door even if I knock, I sit down, I close my eyes and just listen to hear breath like I've been doing these past three days.
I hear her sit on the other side. We don't talk but it's Serene just like this.
' Has she eaten?' I mind link chef Aaron
' Yes, alpha.' he responds and I close the link and open another my brother.
' Nik, how are you?' He asks
' where are you?' I ask, he sighs before giving me an answer
' At the new dawn pack,' he says, he's the alpha there now, he even changed it's name from Red moon pack to new dawn pack.
' and my daughter,' I ask
' She's here, Daniella just put her to bed,' he says and I nod. Jeremy is good to his niece and nephew. He's also a good alpha, he surprised everyone. But what was more surprising was when he chose Daniella over his real mate. It was not too hard for the girl either because she was already in love with her human fiance, so they parted on good terms.
' How's Ava?' he asks.
' Kiss Amber for me,' I end the mind link. Not wanting to answer his question, I don't know how Ava is. She doesn't talk to me and she's shutting everyone out, including her daughter.
' She needs time,' says Alec. I nod. We will give her all the time in the world, this transition is not easy for her.
