I jerk up from the bed abruptly, rushing to get my discarded clothes on the floor and put them on, she's gone.
" What do you mean she's gone?" I question in a shaky voice as he explains they are nowhere near the property, how is it possible that no one saw them leave the mansion? This is a joke, a fucking sick one.
" I thought they were in the garden because Amber likes it there but one of my men said they weren't there... They are not on the property, love," he shakes his head, conflict clear in his eyes as concern lace his voice, he paces keeps pacing agitatedly.
" Maybe they went out for ice cream," I smile standing up, throwing my hands in the air to assure me, I look at the clock on the wall, it's past ten already, who goes out this time? It's unlike Dina to do that.
" I will kill her," he growls and I raise my eyebrows, Nikolas leaves the room and I trudge after him fast.
Why would she take her without informing anyone? All these questions in my head, giving me a migraine. They are safe, they are, I just know it, I'm her mother and I'd sense if she's in danger, my mind is a steaming mess, I can't keep calm no matter how much I try.
" Do you think they were taken when they were in the garden," I hear Justin's distant voice.

This is Dina we are talking about, people," honestly I can't think straight, I want my Amber back, fear is creeping down in me, I shudder at the thoughts in my messed up head right now, stay positive Ava, it's alright, be positive. It's fine Aviana. With trembling hands I get my phone from the pocket, dialing the nanny's number but she doesn't pick up, it keeps going to voicemail.
" The Queen closed off all the borders, Jeremy and his hunters are searching in the western side of the city," says justin, holding his head like he were in pain.
" Heard the mind link," everyone is just moving around the house, fighters of the pack keep coming in and out of the house, the maids look scared, wary at once as Nikolas' dark aura spread, growling lowly, his eyes are pitch black and glaring at no one in particular.
I cry out, tugging my hair, where has Dina gone with my daughter? Nikolas takes out his phone, giving out orders to find the nanny and my daughter.
" I'm such a bad mother," I plopped into one of the sofas, I feel hands around the shoulder, I don't want to be comforted right now, the door opens as Aurora and Dani hurriedly come towards us.
" Nik," she hugs her brother tightly, whispering comforting words in his ears before coming to my side.
" Xavier and the others are searching North of the city while Alexander's men are in the eastern borders, the vampire guard are also patrolling, we'll get my niece back, I promise," she says kindly to everyone, next to her the witch is casting a spell.
" Why did she do this? She should know that she can't leave the city," mutters Dani, her hair is disheveled, and is still in her pajamas, they must have called her from the red moon clan where she usually stay with Jeremy.
" I should be out there Aurora, looking for my daughter, why did you ask me to stay?"
" The city is too vast, they could be anywhere and it will take time for us to find them, so I need to do a locator spell, you are the strongest link to the baby, therefore, I'll need your blood," says Daniella gesturing one of the servants to bring a knife, indeed, this city is too big, we have tal buildings, and a forest too.
" why did she do this? Is she working with your enemies," I choke, I just don't get it. Aurora sits next to me, her arms wrapped around my shoulders as I cry, I know the wulfric have some enemies but who would be bold enough to take Amber? What kind of army do they have? Everyone, including rogues know the power the Alarie and wulfric have in the city, in fact in my world, both the supernatural and human world.
" We'll find out soon, we won't spare her," after getting enough blood from Nik, he leaves followed by Don and Justin.
I stand up running to them, his harden features soften before he comes to me, pulling me in an warm embrace.
" I'll bring her back, I promise," he assures me as he wipe a tear from my face with his thumb, he sighs making his frown deepen
" stay here, please," he adds before I can even say what I wanted to. He kisses my lips once again, it's soft and I can taste my salty tears, am sure he can too, he pulls away, trailing a finger on my jaw before disappearing in the dark.
I sob loudly still at the door, no way am I sitting here, I get up from the porch, running to the garage, there are so many cars in here and I pick a random key, I press the small button and enter the black Camaro, it's one of my favorites, I get out of the property.
I've been searching now for quite sometime, the night is busy, wolves in their form while others in human, running through the streets, as I drive I spot royal guards too, running on top of the highest buildings or standing on poles.
The police are searching every car there out there, they even searched mine. I cried when they told me they are looking for an Alpha Wulfric's child, i park my car near my cafe, walking around aimlessly through the streets.
" It's the king and Queen's niece," I turn my gaze the the small circle of teenage boys and girls.
" Alpha Wulfric's daughter," another one add looking sorry. Everything is on lockdown, no one can enter or leave the city, and whosoever kidnapped the baby, won't leave to see the morning, trust me," says another one from the group, I walk through the street faster from the whispering.
I bump into a lady harshly but I didn't look at her to apologize, it's like my legs are on autopilot, my eyes are burning, my lips quivering, my heart is racing and so is my mind, I've stopped wiping the tears now. Where is she? How is she? Where is Dina taking her? Is she working for rogues? Someone? Is this some sort of payback?
A buzzing of my phone snaps me back to reality. I wipe my eyes away then look at my phone, it's Dina! Relief floods through me and I smile bitterly as I begin to go back where I left my car.
" Why?" I choke. " Nik... The others think you kidnapped my baby, that's not true right?" There is silent as I continue my rant, crying harshly now as I realize what she did.
