"Ava, I love you," he says standing up, pacing around the room, I knew he was interested in me but he always knew I was in love with Nikolas, everyone did, i shake my head.
" You know how i feel," I tell him quietly, Amos is a good man but I don't like him, lately he looks at me these days, like am his next meal whenever he comes at the cafe.
He laughs coldly, in a scary manner.
" That alpha who never even pays mind to you, aren't tired already of being treated like trash? You're just a babysitter, caring for his child," I feel anger bubble within me, how dare he say that, involving my child in his madness.
" Amber is my daughter," I say slowly so that the words sink in. I glare, his face broodens with amusement.
" He is Nikolas and loren's, you just hosted their child because she couldn't carry, so get your head out of the clouds, she's not yours and If you think just because you playing moth- " i hit him before he can finish his sentence, my hand hurts, damn! I glare at him and his eyes widens, holding his stinging cheek.
" Leave now and don't ever show yourself to me again," I order, my own voice surprises me. I turn to leave but he grabs my arm, pulling me towards him.
" Let me go," I struggle against his grip, it's tight and this man is sick in the head. I try to push him away but am no match for his strength, his eyes darken.
"No, I've wanted you since the day I laid eyes on you, now that man gets you? Why because he is alpha?" He questions and with all my might I push him away but just for a little while before he charges at me, holding my arms and digging his claws in me.

" Let. Her. Go," Nikolas growls, Amos looks taken back but slowly releases me, swallowing thickly as he looks at his Alpha who looks like he's ready to kill him.
" Hello, doctor," Jeremy waves with a smirk on his face, oh well, Amos is dead. I move away going to Nikolas' side, his body is shaking and eyes fixed on the thin man, firstly, Nikolas is about 6'4ft tall with muscles while the doctor is roughly 6'0ft tall with some muscle yes but not like most wolves I've seen, he is unmatched even jeremy is taller than Amos, I can see terror in his brown eyes but he growls lowly, what is he dumb? He looks at his Alpha Almost challengingly.
Nik walks closer to him, his chest heaving, emitting low growls.
" There is nothing more than I hate than men who takes advantage of women," he says in a deadly tone
I watch in horror as he charges towards Amos, shifting from man to wolf very fast, shredding his clothes along, now a huge silver beast is standing there, growling at the doctor who shift not as fast as Nikolas. Amos' wolf is big but not as big as Alec.
The two wolves growl at each other, circling one another for a bit, but suddenly the brown wolf bows very low almost grovelling on his front paws, and his neck touching the ground, Nikolas growls again making the earth vibrate, and Amos backs away more, still keeping his neck low
" Dada!" Exclaims my daughter, happily running to the big silver wolf when suddenly Amos' wolf snarls charging at my daughter but before he gets close, I move in front and my body is hit the hard wall, pain run throughout my body, and another growl resonates around the room, then I hear whimpering. Through my blurry vision I can see blood, a lot of blood.
Nikolas' mouth has blood, his snout dripping of blood, I gasp despite the pain and my eyes wander to my daughter who is in jeremy's arms, her head resting on his shoulder as his hand holds her neck. My head, back and ribs and hurt so much, the silver wolf comes to with cautiously, assessing my body before he shifts back.
" Oh goddess, love, you're hurt," he looks at me worriedly as he holds my cheek, kissing my lips then pull away. I want to tell him not to worry but a whimper comes out instead of words.
" Don't look, Amber" I hear as darkness takes over.

I stir awake slowly before opening my eyes, two sad green eyes are looking at me with a frown on their expression, Nikolas has our daughter on his lap while he sits on the edge of the bed next to me.
" Maaa," my daughter gets off him and comes to hug me, I smile as hug her but I wince as my arms hurt, she pulls away to look at her brooding father.
" I hurt mummy," her face starts to contour to a sad one, her eyes glassy already, oh boy, I pull her back and hold her tighter, ignoring the pain.
" Don't cry baby, I'm alright," i coo her.
" Promise?" She asks in a tiny voice, I nod smiling, she goes back to her father who puts her down.
" How are you?" Nik asks, his face softening now.
" I'm good," I lie through my teeth, my throat is dry, I bring my hand to you it and he gives me a glass of water to drink, I was thirsty. I sit up straight with his help.
" What is it?" My daughter looks at us with her bright green eyes, observing our interaction.
" Want to go get the card we made mama?" Nikolas asks her and her face lits up, she squeals running out of the room, I chuckle, she squeals a lot when she's excited. I move closer to him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
" Why do you have a frown?" I kiss his lips but he doesn't kiss me back, I pout.
" What is it baby?" I ask but his eyes are fixed on my arm " Did I do something wrong?" He shakes his head negativitely with a small smile and I breath.
" I'm sorry you got hurt, I didn't protect you," is that why he is brooding.
" It wasn't your fault, you were right. I shouldn't have let him close to me," I concede, he had been telling me to not let him close but I said he's harmless, Amos almost killed my daughter!
" When am I ever wrong?" He teases with a small smile again. I shake my head but his face goes back to a serious one.
" I'm sorry I couldn't protect you sooner," he apologize, looking into my eyes, it's not his fault. " From that sick man Mario now this! I'm not a good partner,"
" Oh babe, nothing is your fault at all, I don't want to talk about them. Now am I getting my kiss or not," he smiles mischievously, looking at the ceiling as though he is thinking, I pout as i wait for my kiss but it doesn't come.
"Should I? you are sick love, Nena said you should rest," I sigh looking at him, I can't believe his mine now, I want to scream on top of my voice at the eiffel tower, Nikolas Wulfric is mine, finally, I want the whole world to know, we are a couple, I breath out loudly. " I'm all better," i say, he slowly kisses my exposed neck, and a shiver runs through me as he focuses on that part, licking and sucking it, his heart beat suddenly accelerates as he leaves wet kisses on it before coming to my lips, his beautiful soft lips, I love them, we share a sweet kiss, it deepens as we continue and he carefully gets both his legs on the bed, now am on the middle of his legs, we part for air before he goes back to assault my neck, his teeth grazing it a bit. " Here it is!" We freeze at the small voice and turn to the door, we are faced with the king and the queen, next to them is Amber and Julian looking at us, Xavier's hand is covering his son's face but he keeps struggling to get it off while his mate's is covering my daughter's eyes.
" Oh my, we'll be downstairs," chuckles Aurora as she drags her husband by the arm, his eyes were fixed on us with a small smirk.
