A low rumble emanated from his chest as he chuckled deeply, only increasing the scowl on Lexi's face that she directed at him.
"I don't know what's so fucking funny. Do you have any idea how messed up this situation is? Honestly, it's fucked up beyond all reasonable expectations! What uncle in their right mind would have designs on his fucking niece?! You're insane. Disgusting, perverted and certifiably insane." She spat as Eromaug's laughter went from a rumble to a deep belly laugh and he threw his head back with laughter.
"I'm going to fucking kill you in your sleep, do you realize that?" Lexi hissed furiously before gasping as a searing pain cut through her chest and she fell to her knees with a cry.
Eromaug's laughter instantly stopped and he crouched next to her in concern and placed a hand on her shoulder, but even in her agony she pushed him away as she clutched at her chest.
"Lexi, whatever you think of me, you're wrong. Let me help you…" He pleaded, the softness in his voice towards her made her skin crawl and her short bark of derisive laughter cut him off abruptly.
"I am not wrong about you. You killed my mother, you took one of my closest friends when i was only just getting to know her and she may as well be dead for all I know," Lexi hissed, trying desperately to stop herself from crying out and again and showing any sign of weakness to the Daemon Lord in front of her.
"If you'll let me explain…" He tried again to reason with her, but she wasn't interested in the slightest.
"No, I won't and I'm not fucking done yet," Lexi snapped as she shakily stood to her feet again, "You tried your fucking best to take over my fucking realm and enslaved yourself an army of the worst people that you could muster to try to murder those closest to me and take the throne from my fucking best friend. Not to mention the thousands of innocent people your fucking coven have murdered and twisted to their own uses, nor all of the shit you put me through as a child.."
"I did it for you Lexi!" Eromaug exclaimed in dismay, "All of it was for you! You deserve the world and when I finally came for you I wanted to hand it to you because…"
"I didn't say I was fucking done yet did i?!" Lexi roared up at him defiantly.
Her small figure was a stark contrast to his towering, bulky frame, and anyone that might have seen her arguing furiously with him would have thought that she had lost her mind. He practically oozed a dangerous, almost murderous aura but Lexi didn't bat an eyelid at it.
"I haven't even started on your conduct while i was just a damn child," She hissed, "Luring me into a false sense of security so that you could earn my trust.."
"No, you've got it wrong…it wasn't like that…I.." Eromaug stammered but Lexi continued relentlessly, the hatred and the anger that she had been holding on to since her memories resurfaced was suddenly boiling to the surface and spilling over.
"No? Well a fucking pet dragon was hardly a simple gift out of the goodness of your fucking heart, was it? They bond for life and you fucking knew before you introduced us, that without being in each others presence for any amount of time, both she and I would always feel that something was missing. Do you have any idea how many years I sought to fill the void inside of me that was left? I had no idea that it was because you bonded me to a fucking soul dragon!!!"
"Enough…" Eromaug growled quietly as he turned from Lexi, not wanting to hear anymore of what she had to say.
"IT'S NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH YOU COLOSSAL PIECE OF SHIT!" Lexi roared as she shoved his back angrily and the hot tears that burned her eyes cascaded down her face, "All you ever wanted to do was to take advantage of me and fucking isolate me from my friends…my REAL family! You murdered the first boy to ever show me affection out of jealousy because of a stupid childhood kiss that every kid receives at some point or other.. Well…I've got fucking news for you," She spat as she laughed, the sound devoid of any humour as she moved around his hulking frame and into his line of sight, holding his gaze fearlessly.
"That void inside of me that was left behind after you ripped my dragon, my Bella, away from me, kept me seeking a way to replace that connection from other sources throughout my teenage years and all the way into adulthood." Lexi smirked as she she stared up at him hatefully, "I fucked my way through countless men just to feel that ache subside, even just a little bit. So congratulations, Uncle, I hope you're fucking proud of yourself because all you did was push me further into the arms of these males that you were so jealous of…"
"Lexi.Stop." Eromaug snarled as his amber eyes flashed dangerously and the lines of his already chiseled jaw hardened.
"Why the fuck should I? You wanted me here in all my glory so here I am fuck-face!" Lexi grinned spreading her arms wide, "I devoured their love, their lust and their affection and gladly took each and every one of their fucking cocks as they were presented to me." She sneered unrepentantly...
"I SAID ENOUGH!" Eromaug roared as he surged forwards, reached for a brazier and threw it clean across the room, the embers exploding on contact with the walls like a beautiful firework amidst the chaos.
He stalked towards her with his amber eyes blazing and swirling as if they were pools of magma and despite her bravado, Lexi shrank back from his terrifying form just a little.
"If I EVER find out who these so-called men are that laid hands on you Lexi…" He warned darkly, "I will rip them apart while you watch. If your goal in all of this is to push me away or dissuade me from seeking your love, then you are very much mistaken. You are mine, Lexi, and mine alone. You are my Eternal, my life mate and I will never, ever let you go."
