Chapter 48: Jean Broody vs. Bradley Jackson ~ When desires explode… My close-knit family!
***
“What?” Bradley screeched. “You two do that?”
“Used to do that. He’s married now, remember?” Jean chuckled.
“Oh my god, you guys are crazy.”
“I have a feeling mum knew though.” Jean chuckled. “She passed a comment once about Dean and I knowing better than to share everything. And we were too grown at the time to be sharing clothes so…” He shrugged.
“Can’t wait to meet her,” Bradley said softly.
“Oh, she’ll love you. What woman doesn’t love a man in uniform?” Jean drawled.
“So am I allowed to wear a camouflage to the dinner then?” Bradley asked with mock innocence.
“Very funny.” Jean gave Bradley’s arse a light slap. “She’s going to love you because you’re intelligent, patriotic, handsome, humble, helpful, courageous, kind, conscientious, honest, did I mention handsome? I could go on and on…”
“You think I’m all that?” Bradley croaked, the lump in his throat the size of a boulder.
“Yes.” Jean nodded. “You’re all that and more.” He let go of Bradley and rolled onto his back. “But you’re mean as fuck. You drove away my women.” Jean growled, drawing a burst of surprised laughter from a somewhat emotional Bradley.
“Still pissed off about that huh?” Bradley shook his head in amusement. “They were disturbing me, you sex addict.”
“I’m not an addict.” Jean protested. “I never put sex above my job, my friends, my family, or my other responsibilities. My mood isn’t dramatically altered if I don’t get a fix. And I’m perfectly capable of controlling my impulses and urges when I need to. The same, generally, cannot be said of addicts.”
“Well said.” Bradley nodded.
“How about we spend the night here?” Jean asked as he rose to his feet and stretched. “You can use the washroom if you want to.” He pointed at the door to the left.
“Good, ‘cause I’m beginning to leak,” Bradley muttered as he stood. “Feels like I have gallons of cum inside me.” He stretched.
Jean stared, mesmerized by the sheer beauty and strength of the body of the soldier. Bradley didn’t miss Jean’s admiring look. He smiled at Jean, causing a sudden warmth to infuse Jean’s limbs, making him weak. And when Jean felt the flutters in his stomach, his heart lurched with the shock of his reaction to a mere smile. He tried to smile back but he couldn’t manage it. He felt weird but at the same time, good. Maybe there was a medical explanation, Jean thought as his mind span. He needed to research it. What exactly was he going to search for anyway? Flutters in the stomach? Weakness caused by a smile? Jean shook his head to clear it of the inane thoughts.
“Would you want me to get you anything?” Jean asked, abruptly starting towards the cabinet.
“Just water, thanks,” Bradley said quietly before disappearing into the washroom.
Jean took out two large covers from the cabinet and then grabbed the phone on top of the cabinet before going back to where he’d lain with Bradley. He placed the phone on his side for easy access and then switched the projector from the site he’s left it on to the sports channel where a golf tournament was underway. Then he fluffed out the pillows and arranged them into a makeshift bed. He covered them with one of the covers and then threw two pillows on top.
“Oh wow.” Bradley gasped when he came out of the washroom. “What a transformation. You’ve got talent, Doc.”
“Fuck off.” Jean laughed, watching as Bradley made a beeline for his sweats and t-shirt. “Don’t.” He said quietly but firmly.
“Dude, I never sleep in the nude,” Bradley said.
“And I never fuck raw, but I did when you asked me to.” Jean folded his arms across his broad chest and stared Bradley down.
“Bullshit, you were curious.” Bradley snorted.
Jean shrugged. “I was. And I’ve been for years. But I’ve never relented no matter how much I’ve been persuaded by others. You didn’t even have to persuade me.”
“Alright, alright, jeez.” Bradley flopped onto their makeshift bed. “Happy now?”
“I’ll be right back.” Jean disappeared into the washroom. When he came out, he went to the fridge and took out two bottles of water. He placed one on his side and one on Bradley’s before stretching out beside Bradley.
“I think this is the laziest sport ever.” Bradley chuckled, staring at the player on the screen. “You just stand at one spot and hit a ball.”
“You have no idea what a workout playing golf is.” Jean laughed as he covered them with the second cover. “That game is good for the heart.” Jean drank some water from his bottle. “Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometers. If you walk eighteen holes, three to five times a week, you'll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart.”
“You sure do know a lot about golf. Do you play?”
“Yep. With my dad and some of my brothers on Saturdays…if I have the time.”
“Finally, he mentions his father,” Bradley murmured. “How does it feel to have such a celebrated man as a father?”
“He’s just one of the guys.” Jean shrugged. “We only remember he’s our dad when he cracks the whip…which is not often as mum handles the discipline. There’s a standing joke in my family…a woman and her eight sons.” Both men laughed. “He’s the best dad.”
“Lucky you,” Bradley said quietly. But whatever Jean heard in Bradley’s voice made him turn his head to look at the man beside him.
“Hey? You asked.” Jean’s voice was very soft.
“Did I say something bad?” Bradley looked genuinely confused.
“No, you didn’t.” Jean sighed. “Come here.” He drew Bradley to him so that the soldier’s head rested on his shoulder. “Are you okay?” He asked softly.
Bradley nodded and tried not to think about his own father. He made himself concentrate on the nice feeling of being in Jean’s arms. He was sure that the only reason he wasn’t hearing his father inside his head, was Jean’s closeness. He felt very safe in Jean’s arms which he thought was rather strange, taking into consideration the fact that he rather had the skill to protect Jean and not the other way round. He was intrigued at how Jean seemed to know exactly what he needed at any point in time and provided just that. It was sometimes weird how attuned to his feelings Jean was, Bradley thought, as he silently watched the players on the screen. No one had been able to read him as accurately as Jean seemed to be able to do.
“Thank you,” Bradley murmured so softly Jean almost didn’t hear him.
“For what?” Jean tilted his head to look at Bradly. “The fuck?”
“Not everything is about sex, you dickhead.” Bradley chuckled. “Thanks for…being you.”
“He likes me,” Jean said with a cheeky grin, drawing a groan from Bradley. “Be honest, soldier. You do. At least I know you like the dick.”
“Jesus, Jean.” Bradley gasped.
“I’m giving you five seconds to admit it. Then the tick-torch is going to start, Bradley Jackson.” Jean started to sit up. “And ask my brothers, I’m a tickle-torture champion.”
“Don’t you dare…” Bradley started laughing when he got Jean’s meaning.
“I haven’t even started yet but you’re laughing. Oh, this is going to be good.” Jean gave an evil laugh. “Okay, time’s up…”
“Alright, alright, I like you okay?” Bradley laughed. “I like you for your…caring nature.” He tried to control his laughter as he pushed Jean back onto the makeshift bed. “But that dick sure is a bonus.”
“I knew it.” Jean laughed as he drew Bradley back into his arms.
“That was under duress,” Bradley growled.
“Yeah, whatever.”
Still laughing softly, Bradley rested his head back on Jean’s shoulder and released a deep contented sigh. Both men continued to watch the golfers on the screen, in comfortable silence. Even after Bradley fell asleep, Jean continued to watch. For him, it felt as if they’d been together for years rather than weeks, which surprised him. He was happy that Bradley no longer seemed as stressed as he’d been the day before after Ty’s call. He wanted to believe that his presence had helped calm the soldier down.
After all, it was said that the best way to destress your mind and body, was to have someone fuck the stress out of you, Jean chuckled softly. His presence had definitely helped, he thought as he reached out to rub his thumb over Bradley’s lower lip. Damn, he enjoyed being with the guy. With a sigh, Jean pressed a kiss to Bradley’s head and then allowed himself to drift off to sleep.
