Genius Triplets: Ex Wife Hidden Identity

Chapter 76

Ch. 76 / 181 Dec 17, 2025

The most worrying thing had happened!

Bianca frowned, biting her lip as she turned back to the corner, discreetly calling Alessia.

"Hello, sister-in-law, it's a disaster. My brother knows about Chris and Elle's existence. I think he might come to take Christopher away."

"I see." Alessia's tone was cold.

"Ah... is that all?"

Bianca was about to ask Alessia to hide Christopher when she realized that she felt at a loss. Her sister-in-law's tone was too indifferent, completely different from what she had imagined.

Just as Bianca was about to ask a few more questions, she heard Alessia's soothing voice. "Don't worry, I'll handle it. Help me take good care of the two babies, especially Elle. Remember to give her medicine at night."

"Got it." Bianca's voice was low, feeling like a clown.

But then, she felt relieved. Her sister-in-law seemed so strong; she must have already found a way to deal with her brother.

She was just worried for nothing.

Alessia hung up the phone, leaning back on the sofa with her eyes closed, feeling a small hand on her forehead.

Opening her eyes, she met Christopher's face, blushing with embarrassment.

He was being shy again.

Christopher was half-kneeling on the sofa, awkwardly avoiding eye contact but not moving his hand away from Alessia's forehead. "Mommy, are you feeling unwell?"

"I'm fine, just a little tired. Aren't you sleepy yet, sweetheart?" Alessia lifted Christopher into her arms.

"I want to sleep with mommy." Christopher hugged Alessia's neck, not daring to look into her eyes as he spoke.

Alessia was amused by Christopher's awkwardness.

She didn't know how long it would take for her son to express his emotions freely in front of her.

"Good boy, mommy will sleep with you." Alessia carried Christopher upstairs.

Alessia sat at the bedside and told two storybooks.

At 9:20, the little one had already fallen asleep.

Alessia got up, turned off the light, and went downstairs to sit on the sofa.

When the clock struck ten, the doorbell rang.

Alessia's eyes flickered, knowing that it was about time for Dominic to arrive.

She put down the book in her hand, picked up the documents prepared on the table, and went to open the gate in the yard.

The orange light from the street lamp reflected on Dominic's body.

He wore a black suit, his handsome face devoid of expression, exuding a cold aura.

Looking from the outside, four burly men dressed in black suits stood in a row on the street, blocking the road firmly.

Dominic brought bodyguards with him, indicating that he intended to take his son by force.

As Alessia assessed Dominic, he also scrutinized her.

Even at this hour, she was still wearing casual clothes, and her face showed no signs of panic upon seeing him, indicating that she had expected his visit.

Impressive composure.

Dominic's indifferent gaze shifted away from Alessia, directing towards the interior of the house, clearly stating his purpose.

"I'm here to take Christopher."

Alessia didn't step aside but stood at the doorway to talk to Dominic.

"Mr. Carter, I can let you take him. But after you take him, what then? How will you deal with his illness? Continue to seek doctors? Chris's condition is psychological. Even if you consult many doctors, it's unlikely that it can be completely cured in a short time."

After speaking, Alessia handed over the folder she had been holding to Dominic.

"These are all the medical reports of our daughter from childhood to now."

Dominic's gaze fell on the blue folder. His thin lips tightened even more than before. After flipping through it quickly, his face turned terribly gloomy.

His icy gaze seemed to turn into tangible knives, piercing towards Alessia.

However, Alessia's beautiful face showed no fear. She continued speaking.

"Mr. Carter, you must have seen Elle more than once. The main reason she appears thinner than Christian is that she has carried toxins since birth. I have taken care of her since childhood, and I understand her illness the most. She can't be separated from me."

"So you're threatening me?" Dominic clenched the folder tightly.

"It's not a threat. I'm just discussing the matter at hand. I hope Mr. Carter can consider it carefully. For the physical and mental health of the children, we can co-parent them together." Alessia expressed her thoughts.

Dominic's expression clearly showed that he didn't agree with her proposal.

He looked at her coldly, leaving no room for negotiation. "Alessia, are you suggesting that we reconcile? It's impossible, don't even dare to think about it."

Was it a misunderstanding on Dominic's part, or was her expression unclear?

Alessia was stunned. She never mentioned reconciliation, only co-parenting. From start to finish, she never thought about remarrying Dominic. Co-parenting was just a temporary solution, convenient for fleeing with the kids in the future.

Dominic had nothing more to say. He handed the documents to the bodyguard behind him and walked inside assertively.

Alessia wouldn't let Dominic take Christopher away.

She clenched her fists, feeling helpless.

She had planned to talk calmly with Dominic, but she didn't expect it to come to this.

However, just as Dominic hurried into the house, he suddenly spoke again. "What are you standing there for? Go pack your things."

Pack her things?

Alessia blinked in confusion.

Dominic didn't look back, his voice coldly drifting over. "Until Chris and Elle's conditions improve, you can stay at the Carter mansion, but..."

At this point, Dominic suddenly turned around, locking eyes with her domineeringly. "You must completely give up the idea of remarriage. You cannot mention our relationship to anyone."

Alessia sneered inwardly. It seemed that Dominic wanted her to become an invisible ex-wife, an invisible mother to the children?

Such an approach was quite fresh, indeed, befitting of Dominic's ingenuity.

Alessia really wanted to slap Dominic in the face. Does he think she wanted to remarry him? Does he think she wanted to have any relationship with him.

Seeing Alessia's silence, Dominic furrowed his brows. "If you agree, I'll have David draw up an agreement for you tomorrow."

At this point, Dominic paused, seeming to find it difficult to accept. "Of course, if you refuse, consider what I said earlier as if it was never spoken. I'll have David arrange a flight ticket for you to leave Toronto, tomorrow."

Alessia really wanted to strangle Dominic now. This despicable man was implying that he would forcibly send her away.

"Think about it before I come down," Dominic said, seeing Alessia still hadn't moved. His deep eyes flashed, and he continued to walk upstairs.

After pushing open the bedroom door, Dominic finally saw his sleeping son on the bed.

Under the orange quilt, the small body lay quietly, a smile on the pale face, clearly having a sweet dream.

Such a scene was not to be disturbed.

It seemed that Chris really liked Alessia.

Dominic lowered his eyes, knowing that there were insurmountable obstacles between him and Alessia, aside from the lack of emotional foundation, there were other external factors hindering them.

Between them were like two towering mountains. After barely divorcing, how could they possibly remarry? Even for the sake of the children, it was impossible.

Dominic reached out from the quilt and picked up Christopher.

As soon as Christopher was in Dominic's arms, he opened his eyes.

"Daddy?" Christopher rubbed his eyes in confusion.

Seeing Dominic at this hour, Christopher thought he was dreaming.

"Yeah, I'm taking you home. Get dressed." Dominic's face tightened, and he succinctly instructed before placing Christopher back on the bed and handing him his clothes.

"What about Mommy?" Christopher took a deep breath and cautiously asked.

Dominic assumed that since he hadn't heard any movement from the woman, she had probably chosen to leave the country.

Feeling irritated, his face tightened even more as he replied, "She has something to do and needs to leave the country tomorrow."

Mommy was fine, so why would she suddenly need to leave the country?

Christopher's dark eyes moved, and he understood some things.

Daddy's visit at this time must mean he already knew about his younger brother and sister's identities and was here to take him away.

"Daddy, are you bullying Mommy?" Christopher asked nervously.

"How could that be? If you don't believe it, you can ask your Mommy." Dominic moved his thin lips, finding an excuse.

He couldn't afford to have a rift in his relationship with his son because of Alessia.
